Blokees Ultron looks amazing...in promos. But what are they hiding when it comes to how much paint he really has? Do the promo images use the base figure or do they add touches of paint that are not there out of the box when its just built?
>>11870444Rule of thumb is to never trust promo images, but it's likely there is some sort of silver-ish coating on the runners. Problem there is that the nubs are gonna look like shit in that case
>>11870450This is even a problem on Bandai model kits. They try to mitigate it with undergating, but even then sometimes it doesn't help. I did their Yugioh Millennium Puzzle model and it has a similar swirly twirly gold plastic that Hasbro uses for their figs and the nub marks, even when sanded, look terrible. Luckily most of them are hidden when the puzzle is put together, but still. Ultron will at best have a similar swirly twirly plastic and like you say, have terrible nubs. Best case scenario.
>>11870555
>>11870444Blokees never have any paint anyway. Expect bare ass plastic and loose joints.
>>11870385>>11870555>>11870557Do I have to use Ali to buy this? I know they're s lot better then they used to be, but I still hate them. Really tempted to get the Superior Neighbor to see what all the fuss is about. Though, the last time you guys convinced me to get one of these it was incredibly mediocre at best.
>>11870622Those bootleg figures are not worth it. It's kind of crazy that they're still trying to push them like they were ever good when the quality dropped off REAL fucking fast.
>>11870555>>11870557I very much dislike layers on the shoulders/chest, I don't think it looks goodsame with the venom
Mindless one needs a reissue on 2packs with optional wigs.
>>11870628Source?
I found this guy on clearance and I'm gonna put him on my boy shelf. I usually hate spider-slop but I enjoyed the first couple comics of his well enough a few years back.I wish his body closer resembled his comics counterpart but it's fine, I don't know why they gave him thwip hands if he doesn't shoot web
>>11870785Hi ass. I own several Mess Toys figures and they're great.
>>11870892They're alright. It's really odd how you guys will shill certain brands here and then try to shame people for buying other brands.
>>11870444There's nothing that I can see in the promo pics that's absent in the copy in my hands. I don't think they even panel line it in the promo pics. The kit does have pre-painted parts for the red accents all over his body
japan > china
>>11870904>mess toyfag: mess toys are the best marvel legends are shit>marvel legend fag: marvel legends are the best mess toys are shitAnd so forthEveryone is shilling what they want.
>>11870914I like MLs but I don't think they're the best thing ever. They're fine for what they are. The hate the get around here feels super forced. Mess toys are fine too but they're hardly the best. I don't get why everything has to be some dick measuring contest.
Holy shit stop shilling your Blokees crap here. They look like shit.
>>11870914also notice how they never post toys lol
>here's your $80 figure sir>you dont like it? at least the throne has good paint
>>11870957You already tried whining about this a month ago. It's a gimmick to swap out his plastic loincloth for the soft goods one. Go away.
>>11870964guess what dumbass? If you placed a dumbell there not only would you be able to swap the parts, but also *gasp* have posability. hashit just can't make toys end of discussion.
>>11870995The cloth would shift around too easily. That's why the went with the square shape. Plus I don't need Mephisto to do the hokey pokey. He just had to sit on his throne and look cool, only occasionally getting up to steal Spider -Man's marriage.
>>11870834Why are you a pedo?
>>11870926Holy shit STFU, missy gatekeeper
>>11870997Then why not get a statue?
>>11871019he ain't gay, bro
>>11870926Amen
>>11870999Not wanting to look at that junk isn't gatekeeping.
>>11870628Go watch a review you retard Mess toys are highly rated 3p from literally every reviewer. No one listen to this retard he can't stand that they are actually as good as everyone says it shatters his world view.
How's the SH Gameverse bootlegs?>>11870834The issues that were clearly ghost written were great, then that stupid fat fuck comes back and writes some Avenger worshiping Bailey completely missing his appeal. Classic dumb idiot Slott.
>>11870904They are better than alright. It's crazy how people trying to shill against them obviously have never owned one and are judging them based off some bootleg they bought years ago. I really don't care they are missing out.
Well that's one way to try and get rid of unwanted figures, I suppose.
>>11871040places were doing this for the Last Jedi figures, too.
>>11870946Anyone saying Mess toys aren't that great should post a photo of one they own. It's hilarious how ppl talk confidently about something they never laid their hands on.
>>11871039You cared enough to reply. You guys also said the same thing about the CT brown suit Wolverine and that turned out incredibly mediocre too.
>>11870622You can watch any well known reviewer on YouTube they all have done Mess Toys. It's not that hard to tell if something is worth checking out...
>>11870629Then you don't like Revoltech AYs.
>>11871042It's really fuckin weird how defensive you're getting over the fact that people aren't jumping out of their skin to get these figures. No one is even saying they're bad, just that they're not the greatest thing ever like you're claiming. It does genuinely come off as shilling at this point.
>>11871044Because this is a discussion board. It Was a valid reply, it's not that deep. Go ahead and post a Mess toys that you own to prove that your comment is valid. You won't because you don't any was the point.
>>11871050No one's getting defensive just pointing out the fact that you don't own any of the toys when you State your opinion about them don't you see how that's kind of ridiculous? it sounds like you're getting defensive.
>>11871048I don't, at least not non-mech ones. I have Eva 02 and the Mass Production one but that's it.I would say Mafex is the best, but there's a few of those I've avoided due to stylistic choices as well, like their comic Venom being too short. But I have mafex Daredevil, Punisher, Psylocke, and Tobey and they're all 10/10.
>>11871042The more you post them with those shoulder dingleberries exposed the less I like them.
>>11871052>because you don't any was the point.>anon is so frothing mad just because someone said his favorite toys were only "alright" that he's not even typing complete sentences. Calm down bro. What is it with these Chink brand shills that have a fucking melty whenever someone doesn't think their brand is the greatest thing ever? Last time it was the Blokessfag, now it's the Messfag.
>>11871054This is honestly my biggest gripe too. Especially with the Black Suit Spidey and the Venom. The AY style layering system breaks up the big white spider too much for my tastes. It's the same reason I don't like the AY black suit.
>>11871056Everyone knows revoletchs are like this.
>>11871053Anon, you kinda are. Now you're just going >no u because I pointed out that I don't think they're the amazing toys you claim they are.
This kinda of retort >>11871060 is what makes me think you're defensive. The guy is allowed to not like the revoltech engineering setup. Let him be.
>>11871057You can't engage my simple point because I'm right. Instead trying to derail into a weird argument lol you are such a sperg. Done with u I made my point. Ur missing out.
>>11871052>it Was a valid replyNo it wasn't
>>11871064>post devolving into teenage girl typingholy shit, this guy lmao
>>11871062Never said his preference was wrong it's simply revoletch shoulders. You either like them or don't. Not a mess Toys issues per say. So if I reply even with a valid reply it's a retort?
>>11871069>not a Mess toys issue per saylisten to yourself brother. If Mess toys made the decision to copy revoltech, than it's a Mess toys issue. You have gone from shilling to white knighting for them now. Stop being such a simp lmao.
>>11871065>>11871066I'm naturally defending my posts and pushing back. You are doing too much Lol
>>11871071Yet I'm the only one posting toys...you all are trying too hard doing too much, have a great day
>>11871072You sound either massively autistic or ESL. Either way, shut up.
>>11871075Good projecting
>>11871074If you insist guy. Keep insisting your not being defensive while admitting to defending whatever point you're trying to make.>>11871077>no uWaste of perfectly good dubs
>>11871078All this instead of posting a Mess Toys you own LMAO
>>11871079>still begin defensiveImagine being this insecure.
>>11871081Asking you to post a toy on toy us defensive lmaoooo
>>11871082Anon, you literally admitted it. >11871072>I'm naturally defending my posts and pushing back.
>>11871083Why are you even hear that this is a discussion board you started a discussion over a photo I posted and now I'm asking you to Post photo of a toy and you won't do it LMAO. You are sub 80 IQ.
>>11871083Yeah obviously I'm not as defensive or insecure as you're trying to paint me out as I'm just trying to have a discussion which you refuse to do and you refuse even back up the point you made why are you even here if you can't even hold a discussion?
>>11871085Calm down. I'm allowed to not thing your favorite brand isn't the greatest thing in the world.
>>11871089Again you're deflecting I'm just asking you to post a toy I think you're the one who's freaking out and shaking in your panties
>>11871092>you're not allowed to have an opinion on something unless you prove to me right now you have one in your handsAnd this isn't being defensive?
So what's going on in this thread?
FLYCLOPS
Hmm... should I?
>>11871248Nah, wait for the inevitable CT Toys/third party bootleg.
>>11871248I don't like any of the decisions made with this, but if I did I'd be peeved by the completely smooth head.
>>11871248I personally am not a fan of a lot of the stuff they did, the one thing I do like is the design of the big white spider, if the Mess toys spider looked like that, I'd probably grab one. But at the same time, I think the AY's layering breaks up the symbol too much too so meh. But, if you like the style of this figure, I'd say go for it, the AY 2.0 Spidey I have is pretty good.
>>11871268True, it's very annoying that Venom got the symbol right. I'd like them to fix that even if most people would throw a fit at a 2.0 existing this early. I'm also waiting for a black Venom, so call me king of the MT Never Evers.
>>11871299Even with Venom, something is off about the symbol to me. But that's just me.
Happy Friday/toy/Punisher and Nick Fury are $53I’ve been waiting for this one to back down in price.
>>11871304I've been super tempted by the pac k for a while now but now that I have the Mafex Punisher I just don't feel as inclined to get it.
>>11871304One of the best ML headsculpts EVER for this Punisher IMO. Hold it up next to one of the old wall-eyed figs.>>11871248No
>>11870957He showed the throne actually has bad paint kek
>>11871304I don't buy two packs till they get below $40, but I'm tempted to get this one at that price. I bet it sells out before it gets really cheap.
can i get a good magik figure with thicc thighs from tokon
>>11871339Except it doesn't
>Wolverine: I don't believe what I'm hearin'. *Help* the *JUGGERNAUT*?>Cyclops: We're going to save the Juggernaut's sorry life. And don't bother telling me you don't like it.>Wolverine: I don't like it...
>>11871615I'm not the biggest fan of invisible steering wheels. While genius in concept they can look a little awkward in still photography.
>>11870998What, collecting figures of little boys makes you a pedo? What does that make you for collecting figures of adult men then, a homosexual?
>>11871635Kek, Cyclops has his hands resting in his lap in the actual scene (which he can presumably do because of the Blackbird's fancy ass autopilot), but I should have just cropped them out of those shots entirely.
>>11871670they're the figtok fags. ironically, they will care more about shota figures and coom figures than one of their own getting exposed for being an actual pedophile
>>11870998You sound jealous
>>11871615>>11871675No one gives a shit, dude. Stop trying to be a personality.
>>11871720Why do you little cretins get so booty blasted at people who regularly post their toys here? You all get uppity with the guy with the brick wall background too. Why even come here if you don't want to see toys?
>>11871720You should buy toys
>>11871723Jealousy
>>11871723It's not just posting pictures, that's fine. It's the attention seeking dudes who post 10 pictures every thread of dumb shit like >>11871615 that need to fuck off. It's not funny or interesting it's just attention seeking.
>>11871764You sound jealous
>>11871764Holy shit, imagine actually getting mad at someone recreating comic panels or scenes from cartoons and movies with their toys. He's not even posting multiple times, he's got multiple pics all edited together like a comic page so it's only a single post. You do sound like a jealous loser.
>>11871670Can a zoomer explain this to me? Im too old a d don't know the characters.
>>11871770One of them is Miles, you've gotta be aware of him by now unless you've lived under a rock the part fifteen years. As for the kid in blue, that's Baily Briggs, Spider-Boy. It was reconned that sometime during or just after the Brand New Day era, a young boy was given spider powers and Spider-Man took him under his wing as his official sidekick. However, due to reasons I can't remember, the world forgot about Spider Boy until he was "brought back" during some Spider Verse event. He was created by Dan Slott and despite a rocky introduction, he's had an actually decent solo book going on. Seems like a lot of people like it from what I can see, I've read a few issues here and there and they weren't bad. I initially kind of balked at the idea of an official kid sidekick for Spider-Man but he's being used in such a way that it isn't annoying and when he does actually appear it's usually pretty endearing imo.
>>11871770It's a callback to a homophobic joke from Raimi's spiderman 1 where Peter calls Randy Savage a faggot.
>>11871770Bonesaw is ready
>>11871766>>11871767I'm not fucking jealous. I just don't like attention seeking dweebs. Now fuck off.
>>11871793>Posting consistently with the same background means you're attention seeking Yup, definitely a jealous fuckin bitch.
>>11871793Then just hide the posts, asshole. Spergs like you are why most of the anons who used to post their toys have left this board.
>>11871793This post reeks of jealousy
>>11870728Doesn't matter since just a background cameo, but funny about how I'd image Tokon Scarlet Witch to look a lot. And here she is with mostly stock design.
>>11871794>>11871798>>11871799I'm not a sperg and I'm not jealous. Now stop responding to me, I've got better things to do.
>>11871804You are a jealous sperg by any measure. You are probably fat too.
>>11870619Funny, i got the Sue blokees and her joints are so tight that they barely move.
>>11871804>I've got better things to doNone of which is buying toys apparently
>>11871828I have toys, kid. I just don't feel the need to post 50 pictures.
>>11871829okay post one then lol
>>11871839No.
>>11871829But you'll make 50 posts whining like a fucking BITCH right?
>>11870998Takes one to know one.
>>11871843Exactly. I accept your concession.
Why won't this retard link what store he buys his mess toys at?
>>11871938Because he didn't actually buy it and is just shilling it.
>>11871787In Spider-Verse 3, if Shathra stabbed you with a magic dagger you'd get slowly wiped from reality, Spider-Boy was gone long enough everyone forgot about him, including his mother. It was a pretty shit introduction, but the gist of it is the kid was fused with animals by a cooky old lady villain and Peter rescued him and others, and only begrudgingly put up with him so he wouldn't end up killing himself being a vigilante. For a while it was endearing when Slott was clearly not writing and Bailey acted like a real kid with infantile reasoning fighting goofy villains, instead of whatever the fuck they have going with these diversity robots like Miles and Kamala, but everything that Slott wrote himself from there was total garbage. There was one solid one-off from Yost featuring Kidpool since, but Bailey's appearances under Joe Kelly on ASM, like everything else he does, were ass.
This one's for you, Morph!
>>11871960>In Spider-Verse 3, if Shathra stabbed you with a magic dagger you'd get slowly wiped from reality, Spider-Boy was gone long enough everyone forgot about him, including his motherAh yes, that was it. I only half read that stuff so I couldn't remember the specifics.
>>11871962>decades of jokes about wolverine being gay for morph>very first wolverine pictureframe meme edit was putting morph into the picture>97 makes morph lusting for wolverine his entire gimmickwhat did they mean by this?
>>11871956well that sucks, I've had good luck with mine. Was wanting to own the spidermen he posted
>>11871962Wolverine's pretty nonchalant about it

why are marvel legends such dogshit. they make me wanna barf

>>11872112>If you didn't appreciate the hamfisted buddy dynamic and referenceslop, you have no soul
>>11872112I didn't appreciate how daredevil wasn't even mentioned once despite it being retarded that he wasn'tlet alone that he wasn't just in the movie
>>11872116Spoken like someone with no friends lmao
>>11872112i kinda wish matt was in it. it wouldve been epic but he has to sit in prison out of "principle" baka
>>11872116Sorry you're so miserable
>>11872118>>11872120To be fair, they couldn't really do too much with him being in jail with the setup for season 3 being The Devil in Cell Block D. But yeah, it would've been dope if Matt was involved, especially since the Hand was included. How long after Born Again S2 is this supposed to even take place? I know we saw that deputy mayor or whoever she was from BA gave Spidey the key to the city, so it's gotta be a little bit after Fisk gets ousted from office.
>>11872140yeah but specifically in a scenario where punisher is whining about how everyone should murder all criminals like he does, a casual reference to "red" would've made perfect sensematt was literally in the last fucking movie
>>11872085Why are your posts such weak bait? You're not a very good troll.
>>11872085
>>11872085They’re my style. I like them. At least they’re mine. I use my strategies.
New attempt at a Sentinel battle display. Moved Archangel to the villains section of the shelf with Apocalypse because it's crowded enough already.>>11871979It was a two way gay street even in the old show, but I think Morph's boner for Logan is dead after this season.>>11871997>>11871998It's the favorite Wolverine figure in my collection currently, but the lack of angry head and painted arm hair are its fatal flaws.>>11872076'Say the line, Logan!'>>11872112I still haven't seen the movie, but want to eventually. I'm kind of torn, because all my memories of Frank interacting with Peter in the comics are him treating Pete like a dork loser. But at the same time, if they were forced to work together for an extended period, I could see him developing a soft spot for him because his naivete reminds him of his dead son or something. Regardless, it seems like Holland and Bernthal have enough onscreen chemistry to make that relationship work in the movie.
>>11872326they keep talking about some events that hsappened before the movie with punisher and spiderman but I never knew what they were talking about.
>>11871040>bouqet of Warlordsi dont get it
>>11872085When you have to mod the figure just to get a basic amount of range then yeah, you know they are absolute trash.
>>11872374modding is just something we're gonna have to do on every brand nowadays, sadly. not to defend the dogshit brand ML here but generally articulation will improve if you carve into the abdomen, regardless of brand. unless it's kaiyodo's AY then you wouldn't need to do that but at that point you're getting a really SHIT sculpt so it's a toss up between getting good sculpt with mods (except for ML lole) or shit sculpt and good range
>>11872085Better Legends would require Hasbro charging more money.Americans rage like the little autistic toddlers they are when Hasbro even dare increase the prices by a dollar or two.So Hasbro keep producing shit to please the bland tastes of their autistic toddler audience.
>>11872374No nodding can fix the ugly knees on that figure though
>>11872374Well, you see, you're autistic so your whining is just meaningless.
What does it feel like in-hand? Does it crumble and fall apart or does it feel somewhat premium quality like its Japanese counterparts?
>>11872388If Legends get sold even by Hasbro, at say, Pulse at BELOW their suggested retail, you understand how full of shit you truly are.
>>11872432it feels solid in handmine had stiff a left thigh and right toe joints, i lubed it up with silicone oil and now its fineunmasked head is a little loose but its not a big dealoverall its quite solid, for real.you just have to make sure to not get a fake "bootleg" version
>>11872445>you just have to make sure to not get a fake "bootleg" versionAny specific things to look out for - something on the box or more like paintwork quality in photos? I'm using AliExpress.
>>11872050>Post toys brah
>>11872432I can only comment on Black Suit, Kaine and Scarlet Spider. Black Suit is notably a little stiffer on the pectorals than the others, but mine was a first run, no clue if they changed that or if I got a bad one. Articulation wise it feels about the same as my Mafex but I never got a lemon from them either, nothing loose, limbs aren't falling off, no problem holding up. Just cooked them with the hair dryer for a little bit out of the box.>>11872446Usually they're cheaper and they look real shit (last one I ran into was the Kaine mold painted in black suit colors), but that's not a guarantee. >>11872446look at the reviews, especially ones with photos, dont get ones without any reviewsalso if the price is very low its probably shit
>>11871304wake me up when this drops to $30>>11871257CT sometimes takes too long to get their stuff out and other boots are shit>>11871074nta or anyone else y'all been screeching @ but scrolling backwards after a vacation and you do sound annoying as fuck, son
>>11872454Doesn't seem all that different to the usual treatment import figures need, I'm actually tempted to get all now. >>11872457Didn't even think of doing that. Thank you!
>>11871035
>>11872468This isn't the own you think it is little buddy
>>11872474Even I can admit that Blokees does robots pretty good. If I were interested in an Ultron in that kind of style I'd get this one, but I prefer the classic look imo.
>>11872476I was planning on getting an ML of him since I dig the classic look more than the overly mechanical look of Rivals Ultron but no luck in finding any with a good price
>>11872482They released him a couple of times, but it's been a while. I've got the first release, I don't even remember what wave it was without looking it up. It's a good figure, the Kirby dot effect for his mouth is a nice bonus, I wish we got more effects like that.
>>11872464Don't take reviews as gospel, the seller could very well switch stocks without warning or even knowing they're now selling KO KOs. I don't like buying directly from them because they're a little pricier, but it is what it is.
>>11872446
>>11872509why did they make superior look like a different guy, he's still supposed to be peter physically, not "evil" peter with black hair
>>11872518Otto went on to inhabit a clone (no, that's not how it works, but marvel doesn't care) with Peter's and Otto's DNA akin to Superboy, they're probably taking after Elliot Tolliver.
>>11872521oh weirdlast time I saw superior was in the spider-verse crossover where he crewed up with the "killer" spider-people
>>11872522Yeah, that goes to shit, he learns he loses in the end and copies his consciousness to Living Brain to reactivate in the future, comes back as a clone, Clone Conspiracy goes down and he steals the super clone from Jackal to become that.
>>11872524Oh right, I did read clone conspiracy but I don't remember anything except ben getting ruined
>>11872474>>11872482This so mogs even the best ML Ultron. But then I don't care about 'classic looks' too much. Like classic Spidey looks better than that garbage Marvel Rivals Spidey design, but this Ultron is far superior to his old comic looks.
So, I've got BND Spidey and he's pretty fun, and I've got Punisher, why do I have absolutely zero desire to get Hulk? I don't care about price, if I wanted him I'd pay what he costs, so that's not it. His fight was fine in the movie, even if I feel his inclusion could 100% be cut and the plot of the movie not been changed. I guess it's because I just hate Ruffalo that much. Guy is fucking insufferable.
>>11872565why did you make a post answering your own question
>>11872578It can't just be that reason. Ruffalo sucks but the Hulk is still the Hulk. I dunno I just have no desire. Does anyone even know if it's any good?
>>11872565>>11872589the figure looks like gay shit is probably the "reason" you're looking for
>>11872590Which one? The ML or the SHF because I'm not referring to either one in particular. I'm just referring to getting a version of the character from the movie at all.
>>11872592there has not been an acceptable live action hulk figure since the fucking Eric Bana movie, relative to general toy quality of a given era
>>11872597That doesn't answer my question, which one were you referring to?
>>11872597Why were domestic sculpts so much more detailed back then?
>>11872598both, allhistorically every attempt at a ruffalo hulk, and the one attempt at an MCU red hulk

>>11872607post a good oneI did: >>11872597keep in mind my example also cost like 15 dollars and was readily available anywhere you could possibly look
>>11872608That's not a good one lmao
>>11872589It is just that reason. MCU Hulk fucking sucks.
>>11872617compared to what? all the MCU hulks hasbro made that don't have butterfly shoulders?
>>11872621The SHF Endgame one is pretty good. Also, do you think you should be whining about articulation when comparing something twenty years ago that has far inferior articulation compared to modern standards? Talk about throwing stones in glass houses.
>>11872630>compared to modern standardsI did preface by saying >relative to general toy quality of a given erabut also that figure from 20 years ago has butterfly shoulders and the newest release from hasbro doesn't
>>11872630>SHF Endgametoo small
>>11872600It’s because they actually used sculptors that worked in clay to create a real model that would be used to create the mold for the toy. Nowadays, they all use 3D software so large sections will just be smooth instead of having any texture to them.
that movie was fuckin terrible.
>>11872815I just rewatched Spider Man 2 last night and yeah BND doesn't even hold a candle to it. But, at the same time, it may very well be the best actual Spider Man movie we've gotten since, depending on your feelings on the first Spider Verse. It's certainly the best Tom Holland movie, but it still has its problems. I liked the Punisher interactions though, and they finally got the Spidey costume right for the MCU. But I didn't need the Hulk to be included and Jean being an outright villain but then just getting away with it didn't exactly sit right with me. Still, it's certainly the best Tom movie, better than either of Andrews films, and better than SM3, so I thought it was still a good time.
Question, we ever get a full Star Jammers and Imperial Guard in the original toyline from the 90s?
There were two box sets of super micro figures made of diecast metal, and I can't even find them. They were from Toybiz, I had an X-men set and a Spider-Man set. I can't for the fucking life of me find any information about them ANYWHERE.
>>11872815>>11872825Sour grapes
>>11872842Sounds like the Heavy Metal series.
>>11872536It helps that comic Ultron has looked more like that in recent times, and that's even before the AOU movie came out which the Rivals version owes a lot of its design to.
I wasn’t sold on this 2-pack when it was first revealed. I have the metallic version of this modular Iron Man, and the previous Spiral figure. But since getting a better look at it, and realizing that Iron Man is a new sculpt I’m actually excited. The worst flaw of the previous Marvel Legends modular suit Iron Man is that his shoulders are mostly gold/yellow but with red on top. But when he’s posed it looks really obvious and bad. The new shoulder is more cohesive because it’s just red. And he comes with more, specific hands. And MvC specific effects, the shield is especially cool. I also realized that Spiral is a pretty nice upgrade, since the version of Spiral in MvC has 2 cybernetic left arms, while the previous release only had 1. This new version has 2 like in the game. And the original release does not include any alternate hands, while this new version comes with 6 alternate fist hands. Which will make putting her in MvC style fighting poses easier. Still, if she’d have come with some swappable stretchy arms would be better. The swords are more accurate, too. I may heat and swap the hair/helmets, so i can have the shorter, more poseable hair/helmet but with the old face.I’ll be picking this up, unless Figuarts announces an MvC Iron Man. Which I hope they do. This version of Iron Man is extremely dynamic so it’d be really nice to have one.
>>11872915Didn't ask.
>>11872915if only hasbro put this much effort into their single releases. just matching pair of extra hands would be solid
>>11872915I'm also looking forward to this one. I picked up the old modular Iron Man a few months ago and wish I hadn't (both due to the announcement of this and the issues you listed), but I at least had enough sense to hold out on Spiral, since I figured she'd eventually get the full Gamerverse treatment. This will probably mean that I'll have to get a Mojo at some point, but neither of the previous releases they did for him seem that hard to come by, so I don't feel like there's any need to rush.>>11872968No one asked you to be a complete asshole, but you're still doing that unsolicited.
>>11872968Post your toys
Got this guy recently, super frustrating, ugly crotch area, that doesn't even give him any considerable range, in fact pretty limited articulation wise in general for a spider-man toy, BUT in the very specific task of looking like MvC2 spider-man he delivers extremely well, it's not like he has any serious competition in that regard though, would be cool to see a different company take on this design.
>>11872968kek>>11873009post his toys
>>11872968/toy/ really is one of the bitchiest boards. >>11873021Here's your (You)
>>11872085The hate for them around here feels so forced. Like just a couple of guys really pushing the whole board to hate them and trying their hardest to convince people who like them to stop liking them. It's really fucking weird. Like some weird crusade against a toy company that will never even know they exist.
>>11873052you only buy marvel legends because it's the only toyline that covers enough ground by reusing molds. it's objectively an outdated scummy brand and even when the opportunity arises to give new molds updated articulation standards, they still didnt fucking do it and this perfectly illustrated with the Rivals line which the ML shills in here constantly hand wave away with the "rivals is shit" excuse despite rivals being the only other marvel project besides the MCU that actually brings in millions of new people to marvel
>>11873056>you only buy marvel legends because it's the only toyline that covers enough ground by reusing molds.you can't pretend this is insigificantif any import line ever made villains beyond Venom and occasionally Magneto, that would be something to hand wave away, but they fucking don'tSo my Mafex Tobey is surrounded by Marvel Legends villains, because there's no other fucking option
>>11873056Why is that a bad thing? You act like character selection is bad. It really isn't, how else am I going to get an Orb figure for Ghost Rider to pick on? What other company is making a nearly two foot tall Sentinel for my X-Men to fight? If they reuse molds to do that, so be it. You act like mold reuse is the most egrigious thing in the world, when it makes sense to reuse the Wolverine mold when he gets so many different releases. As for Rivals, no one who matters actually likes Rivals so you should just consider yourself lucky you're getting anything at all. Rivals designs are trash.
>>11873062>>11873066>you can't pretend this is insignificantif you bothered reading what I said then you would notice that I mentioned they achieve this by reusing molds. i would also assume that you would already have the basic knowledge that hasbro also achieves this by basically blocking everyone else with licenses exclusivity. after all that, there's still other issues like the shit articulation schemes, mismatch hands, completely fucked up scaling, and terrible pricing. i hope you arent pretending these are insignificant. just so you know, all of these spiderman are supposed to be the same height
>>11873056Also>pretending Rivals isn't flavor of the month slopIt's not even in the top 10 charts on Steam.
>>11873070but why do you lie? it's 10th on the 24-hour peak and that's in the middle of the season when everyone has maxed out events and battlepasses lol

>>11873067>if you bothered reading what I said then you would notice that I mentioned they achieve this by reusing molds. So? Why is that bad? You act like not having the most up to date articulation scheme on every release is the biggest sin a toy company could commit, when in reality, even these older articulation schemes are more than adequate to achieve poses. You may not personally like those older schemes, but that's just like, your opinion man. I don't have a problem with them myself. >i would also assume that you would already have the basic knowledge that hasbro also achieves this by basically blocking everyone else with licenses exclusivityWhy are you acting like this is something only Hasbro does? This is standard practice across the entire planet beyond just toys. Sorry, that your niche little chink company or whatever has to make unoffical bootlegs or whatever, but that's the way the world works. >i hope you arent pretending these are insignificant. just so you know, all of these spiderman are supposed to be the same heightActually a lot of your complaints are overblown and disingenious at best. Are you the same guy a few threads ago who tried to claim scale inaccuracies citing the RYV, Maximum and AF15 Spider-Man, when Hasbro has outright stated that they made the AF15 smaller because he's younger? That's the kind of arguments you have to resort to. Mismatched hands? How is this a big deal? Sure, I can understand on characters like Spider-Man not getting the full treatment, but I really don't need a random Skrull grunt to have anything beyond a grip hand and either a fist or an open palm. As for pricing, welcome to 2026. Pretending this is exclusive to Hasbro or toys at all just shows you're a manbaby that doesn't actually pay attention to the rest of the world. I just paid $5 a gallon for gas, get fucked.
>>11873077>You act like not having the most up to date articulation scheme on every release is the biggest sin a toy company could commityes it's bad. jada, storm arena, blokees, etc. all have modern articulation standards at the same price point. >Why are you acting like this is something only Hasbro doesim sorry is someone else holding marvel license right now? fucking retard lmao>Hasbro has outright stated that they made the AF15 smaller because he's youngerhow does this explain Rivals spiderman who is 5'10 in-game and is a full adult being shorter than other adult 5'10 spiderman? >have not seen a Brand New Day figure in storesNot to doom and gloom but what the fuck? They did this with Fantastic Four too where there weren't even any toys out.I've seen Spider-man stuff in stores, mainly for the kiddy lines but nothing specifically for BND. One Target had a big display cart thing in the middle of the aisle by electronics that was BND branded and had some stuff but no figures, just a statue and a NWH figure.is it just my stores being shit or have you guys not seen anything new at retail either?
>>11873109You missed them. They were in stores at the beginning of July and sold out. I saw them at a couple different stores for about two or three weeks. >>11874068Yeah, I picked up the old release like 6 months ago (wish I hadn't now, but at least it was on sale). I also think the chair itself is perfectly fine, though I do prefer the shape of the new one overall for being closer to the cartoon. I honestly want it more for the brighter colored suit body and the animated heads, especially the screaming one. >>11874725The whole season felt aimless and weird. What the fuck was Apocalypse's plan, just possessing Gambit and that's it? Why? What does that accomplish? Why was Rogue going along with his plan even after he clearly enslaved her brother? The roster's also bloated as hell and half of them did nothing. Even characters that got a highlight episode like Polaris ended up just becoming another background character, like why even bother adding her to the team, was it just because they felt they needed someone with Magneto's powerset? Once the time travel stuff was resolved Forge just kind of fades away and I think he had like three lines in the latter half of the season. Even Wolverine barely says anything outside of his one focus episode.
>>11874757Yeah the whole season felt very disjointed. Like the latter half from Weapon X up through the Acolytes episode were just kind of there and didn't really have a bearing on the larger overarching plot. Season 1 had far more of a cohesive story going on throughout while still being able to do one and done stories as well. Season 2 just failed at that. I think my favorite episodes were the time traveling stuff and the X-Force episode. Weapon X and the Brood were fun as a one and done but that episode didn't have any lasting consequences outside of Logan getting his admantium back. You never saw the consequences of the Morph/Tomo parallel, which should be explored. Danger, while a fun adaptation of the Danger arc in the comics, also felt too out of the blue, why was Polaris such a huge focus? The Acolyte episode was also, ultimately meaningless, sure it was fun seeing Pitor again and he and Kurt had some good moments but then we're just thrust into the finale and it's all too rushed. While Kurt's final scene was beautiful and a fitting end to the version of the character, it just came totally out of left field. There was no build up to it prior, hell, outside of the Acolytes episode, Kurt was barely even in this season. You could definitely feel them patching together DeMayo's stuff and adding their own. I'm hoping that's all it is, but I don't really have high hopes for S3 being a step up. Such a shame. Why do all these people in Hollywood need to be such perverts and have all these sex allegations with one another? It's fucking ruining my TV shows.
>>11874755Literally too good for this world.
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.
I can't stand the muties telling you that killing the homicidal bad guy is wrong even when they know they created the bad guy.and then rogue goes super saiyan or something I don't know. I skip watched the ending and all I got was that Kurt dies and I don't care. the X-Men are terrible.
>>11874840Do zoomers really expect understand a TV show when they skip half of it?

>>11874863>zoomer gets butthurt that he got laughed at for skip watching showsIt's funny just how offended you get when called out on your stupid behavior.
>>11874840>I can't stand the muties telling you that killing the homicidal bad guy is wrong even when they know they created the bad guy.Did they do that though? I don't think anyone had a problem with killing Apocalypse, they just didn't want to kill Gambit in the process.
