Then there was the two different times I ordered the Cobra Viper three-pack only to have white guy necks and black guy forearms on my Vipers in both sets. There was also the Target Exclusive Cobra Island figures early in the line that frustrated me. There was also way too many figures that just felt meaningless such as some of the more recent new characters who I have no attachment to. And a lot of the Retro releases just aren’t Retro enough or sometimes it just feels like when a standard figure is announced that you should just wait for the Retro release. And vehicles are sort of difficult to work with at this scale and it forces me to limit what I can buy, which is annoying, because during Modern Era I bought tons of vehicles that I used to display.I’ll see things I want as well like this >>11879389 and wonder what took them so long to do 90’s characters? Hey guys, just thought I'd pop in and remind everyone about that time nearly two years ago where I said I cursed the line and there would never be another Baroness and the line would die before it happens again and then people were like "there definitely will, she's too popular a character!" and then there were all these constant leaks/predictions of a plethora of new Baroness versions and yet none of them have materialised at two consecutive Joe Fests or SDCCs and now Hasbro is in its slow death throes. That was cool.

It wanted simplified tiers of releases so that beyond standard figures there was only maybe a couple unusual types of figures you could buy. That was encouraged when retail was the only place to buy these figures because retail wanted order to SKUs, not chaos. But fan channel/online retail has made it so they can basically change prices per release. Hasbro doesn't really want to standardize price tiers for larger offerings anyway because it keeps them from throwing in a bit more blocks of unpainted plastic where they can and upping the price by some arbitrary number just because the box is bigger or looks a bit more full.
