That an anime should go for the full year meaning around 50 episodes, and to make that many fast and cheap it's outsourced to multiple studios overseas. That means the quality differs substantially episode to episode. Current popularity I believe isn't from the anime itself but the good designs and resulting performance of the toys and kits. More people might know Tekkaman just from figures or the SRW games than the show at this point.

Similar to the poster who had to glue his Ryu's scarf together, on my copy of Ayane I was going to change her eyes and when I pulled the face off, the front bangs separated from her face plate, probably because the glue got weakened. Should I go for epoxy glue to glue the bangs back on or is regular superglue good enough?
