Turns out it wasn't broken, the factory didn't fully connect the hinges so a quick dip in hot water to soften the plastic and they popped in place. Still frustrating though to deal with. My side gig is ending though at the end of this month and thats how I justified toy purchases so the hobby ends for me effectively sept 1. I have money set aside for a few pre-orders later in the year and then thats it. Im out of the game for a while. All of this is just escapism. Games, movies, toys, its all just a means to ignore the horror of current year and revert to a simpler time. Before you can quit the addiction of chasing dopamine, you have to find what's broken inside and make peace with it. Ask why the toys are so needed. Learn to live with the horror outside by making your environment something more tolerable and the toys wont be needed. Then you can finally be at peace and leave collecting willingly. If the fit isnt good, to keep things simple, try just stuffing some paper in there for now. If you want to do something more permanent you can dab on a tiny bit of super glue, or floor polish if you're afraid of fusing the parts, and fit the parts. If using glue then keep moving the parts (in this case it'd be on the peg in the bicep or probably more safe to put it in the socket) until dry so that nothing sticks, and, if the floor polish, fit the parts together and move it around a bit then let it dry for something like a night.
