Post your setup instead of a pic from the Wayfair website, and I'll think about it.

I just picked a random one since I didn't want to start the thread with my own. I'll post it later down when people start contributing. Also, do you reverse image search every pic you come across because that is some shcizo tier behavior.

Nope. Too many schizos track you down and harass you if you post your shit.

Here's mine. It used to have more but I put a lot of stuff in the attic because it looked too cluttered. My favourite shelves are the Streets of Rage one and the John Wick vs Kazuya Mishima one.

You just need 1-2 more of those display cases. If you stuff can just stay in the attic, you need to donate it, sell it or otherwise get rid of it. Your boxes - not that you asked or need to care - but in the context of limited display space - the boxes can all go to the attic.

I actually have two other cabinets stored at my parents house, there's just no space for it here unfortunately. With a bit of luck, we'll be moving by the end of the year anyway because the bedroom has a massive mould problem. I fucking hate moving house lol.

Yeah man. There aren't many figures from SOR. It's either Axel or Adam from Storm Collectibles or Axel and Roo from some other brand, I can't remember the name.
It's a shame we never got a Shiva from SOR2. I'd trade or sell half my shit for a figure of him, he's my favourite videogame character of all time. :(

Damn, these display cases look pretty sick.

I moved back in with my parents recently. I have a box full of toys and some gunpla. My dad built some shelves in my room and my mom bought a big shelf to put in my room as well for my toys. They surprised me with that when I came home from work.
I’ll probably post a pic in the future when I fill up the shelf space

Toy table consists of the NECA street diorama, and a bunch of more modern Marvel teams on display. I really need a better place for those teams, I have some shelf space in my built in cabinets, I just need to actually get them set up for display. The X-Men 97 Sentinel and Shuma Gorath are definitely fun additions to spice up the magnifying display that I use for working with small computer parts and chips, sometimes model kit stuff too.

Finally, I have my built in cabinets. Right side has been setup for my Marvel bad guys display. I've been collecting the bad guys for a few years but never had the space to actually display them, it's nice to have a nice setup for them. Left side isn't setup for display yet so I just have a few random things stored in there for the time being. The big drawers have various things in them, including all my tackle boxes with my various accessories stored. They're not all full, I have one or two of these still empty at the moment. Then I have my PC setup, nothing too crazy there, but I like display the SH Monsterarts Blue Eyes White Dragon on my tower, recently added SHF Kaiba to it and it looks great imo.

Seeing a sentinel bigger than Galactus makes me rage like the pathetic nerd I am. Is it a hassle to clear stuff so you can watch that tv?
>>
>>11881201
Yeah, skipping the Haslab Galactus is one of my biggest regrets in collecting. I just didn't have the space for it at the time, still probably wouldn't if I had the Sentinel too, but it is what it is. Having the 12in one is at least somewhat of a consolation. Also, that unit isn't a TV or a monitor, it's a magnifyer used for soldering super tiny computer parts. Used to use it for my job, but now I just use it if I'm having trouble with model kits and such since I have shitty eyes.
>>
>>11880832
>soon
you're there son, you are so there
the bottom shelf, for example - loads of characters, IPs and brands that are unknown to me but I can readily admit if this was a toy museum, I would stop and read the cards and look at the 'pieces on display.' It's thoughtful, looks well-curated (so I assume, like when I go to a museum, if I knew a little - or a lot - about the exhibit, I'd appreciate it more), and is interesting to look at.
The top shelf, OTOH, where I do recognize product lines, IPs, etc. and also KNOW plenty of history, lore and backstory, while not crowded, would benefit from the same kind of care and curation. If you don't have the ready accessories for these, you could make that display less static by giving it more room to breath, doing more than just standing them against one another.
So in that sense, it's starting to get crowded.
You do get bonus points for a nice clean display, well lit, well photographed, and for incorporating the Blokees without making a big deal about it.
>>
>>11881043
If you aren't going to add any floating shelves above - for example - that large IKEA storage unit, I'd add some art up there.

>>11881227
also, have you thought about getting one of those loop things jewelers use? almost everyone in my family can do without reading glasses but needs them to drive and far vision, but one of my siblings has awful vision in general and needs all sorts of crap. She uses something like a huge lens, that drops over the regular lens, magnifying stuff for when she does puzzles or does LEGOs or helps out with homework. She said it's from some craft store, and she also has this thing that looks like what dentists and jewelers uses that just focuses on one area and snaps onto your regular glasses, that she takes with her to do her shopping, so she can read labels and small prints.
It just seems like some lost space you could recover for display purposes if you got rid of that screen or put it in the attic, etc.
>>
>>11881515
>also, have you thought about getting one of those loop things jewelers use?
I have one. Different devices for different purposes. I still use the big screen every once in a while. I have a couple other devices that I use for very purpose specific tasks.
>>
>>11881622
>very purpose specific tasks.
fair enough, am sure you are making it all work for you - it just feels like a loss of space you could use for figures or another diorama, or even your own homemade display area

You do have a point. I don't use it that much, another dio would be cool too. Something to think about I guess.

I think that's the point of these threads. To get ideas we didn't think of ourselves.
I have plenty of IKEA shelf units because when I moved, someone was selling four and I took all of them.
But two also have two sections of drawers like yours and I don't really want to put stuff on the bottom rows, so it turned out not to be as much total display space as I thought.
Once I saw the various pictures of people doing those fire escapes, I decided to grab one of those.
I've seen and even owned floating shelves but one like this never would have occurred to me without seeing the displays of others using them.

>>
>>11882221

>>
>>11882221
I'd like to have more space but I cant ethically really allow myself much more. Ive already covered 1/2 the walls of my office with cabinets and toys. Instead of putting stuff away ive decided I have to downsize and sell off a line if I want more shelf space for something else. Ive currently got;

>Beast Wars
>Mighty Max
>Exo Squad
>Food Fighters
>Street Sharks
>Super Naturals
>Toxic Crusaders
>Playmates TMNT
>Museum Table figmas
>Ghibli action figures
>Metal Slug 1/12

Already downsized a lot of the TMNT and I think I might cull the Street Sharks. My main love is the Beast Wars stuff that I want to one day have a complete collection of including the botcon and Japanese releases.
>>

I am debating spending $10-15 more and getting a corner unit and also stretching it out.

I already have a long birchwood floating shelf that will go high and in the living room but there's plenty of lost and trapped corner space. But that would mean I have toys in every single room where I live.

I actually have a big bathroom with one of those always on ventilation vents and I thought about using that corner, since it's at least six feet (tub length or more) away from the actual shower but every time I mention the thought on any gen in /toys/ some wag will make the bright remark about smell or some other, literal, shit. Technically, I don't have anything in the bathroom now, but a small free shelf is going up there and I was thinking of putting up a collection of vinyl (think NECA toonys or Culture Fly), since it's all hard plastic and they are all one solid piece like Pops, how humid or 'wet' they get doesn't impact anything. If you count all the tiny Best Buy figures and actual Pops, I have about 20 such things but many don't EVER get displayed.
I don't own PICREL, but that's what a bunch look line, they are way thinner than a Pop and actually probably slightly shorter. A friend watched a shit ton of movies during lockdown and I bought a bunch of the DC off her since she was going to post them on ebay. But almost all of them have been in a box since I paid for them.

The kitchen and living room are one huge rectangular room. Once I finally clear it of crap, something will go on the table in the corner or edge, no idea. But technically 'every' room will have something. I've always had collectible magnets no matter where I lived, on the fridge.

The Hood, especially since he's yelling, in the dumpster really sells this. It does need some graffiti or dirt. You could possible use that translucent sticker paper to do some graffiti in a color printer, if you want it to stay pristine for other purposes? Or perhaps something that would wash off like cheap tempera paint? Unless that's cardboard, both shouldn't be permanent.

It's a shame, especially with someone like Spider-Man, that MLs have no ass. This particular photograph doesn't do so much as call screaming attention to this sad fact.

That was my goal actually. It's still not finished, lacks the turret slide and shell ejector. So far the suspension can be posed, so it can lean in all directions, turret lifts up, barrel locks in 3 positions, all hatches are openable and the tracks work and wheels spin.

I got really hyped by Tunshi's LV Armor so I decided to make my favorite vehicles on my own. Wish we got more news from them regarding this line, it was so long ago I'm starting to get worried the line and the company itself are kinda dying. I would love to get Allen and Morden.

I mean, as long as you are careful about referring to your old posts or don't have some asshole stalker who's going to be following and reporting you, that's such as an easy fix. You're not supposed to have multiple accounts either and I personally know IRL people who do, for example.

Going down to one (technically back up after having 0 for a while) detolfs with 4 shelves.

What should I display?

I feeling a polyian (robot girls) shelf, a vader shelf for sure.

And probably an anime/figma/figuart shelf. I got some new stuff (mainly the four Delicious in Dungeon figmas), so this shelf will probably be switched up from the pic.

What yall thinking for the last one? Top will be a random smorgasbord of whatever again.

Are there really fucking chinese cabinet shills now? Jesus fucking christ. That site went to shit and has entertainment news now too so I just assume some bullshit is going on
>>
>>11887694
I literally just picked a random pic from Google. Something generic looking because when I've started display threads in the past with my own display, some people got unreasonably mad about it and called me an attention whore. Funny that we have people complaining about the opposite thing now. Nothing will satisfy you guys will it?
>>
>>11886074
Any reason you keep downsizing? It doesn't look cluttered and two cabinets isn't excessive imo.

Yeah, its much easier on the eyes. I like the clean look it gives a display. But I started collecting with scales so maybe its a holdover. I also have a hard rule of keeping my stuff to one room and rotating my figures out every so often.
>>
>>11887695
I'm not the people who trolled you so yes a real picture of your displays would have been cool as an OP. Did you ever post your displays here yet?

I keep writing incredibly negative reviews every time I order something from Walmart that's DC and McFarlane. I mean, it's my own fault because I'm that much of a DC fan that I will even buy McFarlane in the first place. But even the ones I return and the ones that they cancel on me, that still show up as "ordered 3x times" (but never received), they let me review.
So somehow, they decided I am a "prolific" reviewer because I guess these detailed hate letters to Todd's Greasy Under Painted Plastic Crack are popular and considered "helpful" or for some reason, and they offered to send me free shit to review.
Unfortunately, the free shit is mostly awful Chinese junk you wouldn't want to donate to a thrift store.
So I order shit I think I might use for a display or storage, like PICREL
>>
>>11878058
I skipped out on all the CC MotU figures to try to stick just with Origins and you're making me regret that because these look so nice together.

>>11879669
I love how your TMNT gang I'd 2 godzilla kaiju and a Mexican.

>>11879893
Trans metals were my favourite Beast Wars designs of all time I am very jealous. Especially of that Deathsaurus exclusive. The bug shelf is awesome too.

Anyways this one of the best threads on toy right now and I cant comment on everything I'll try to take pics for it too
>>
>>11882221
Yeah I prefer when there's not too much clutter in general so my displays are really sparse with a few things in each shelf. It makes it easier to appreciate visually for me but more importantly to dust. I get really OCD and picky.
I dont dislike what other people post here though its just what works for me. Some things I collect look better lined up on a big display than others. I tend to buy random shit that is much favourite and not complete entire lines.
>>
>>11886631
What is that tiny Tommy from Rugrats from?
>>
>>11888323
I find it best not to point out which ones are mine when getting into a back and forth with someone. But I posted it. It has action figures in the pic.
>>
>>11888342
I just asked for your pictures because you said you posted them. I only want to see them because you started rambling about things that have nothing to do with me. I was complaining about another site advertising this shelf not you. Nothing in this thread was bad let alone deserves to be mocked. My thought process 'hey I'm being too negative and offtopic but the guy said he posted his shelf so I want to see it so I can be positive and compliment it if it's good and hopefully more OC was added to this thread instead of a chinese stock photo.'
>>
>>11888350

You're right anon, you caught me. I'm a shill for a Chink cabinet company and I secretly was trying to viral market this exact shelf in the OP, without actually pointing out what it actually was. I work directly with Toy News International to advertise my shelf. Pretty please anon, would you buy my shelf?

Retard.
