The thing with the Kemopla kits is that you're somewhat limited in what you can dress them in - shoes and stockings are unusable with those legs, pants can work but require a lot of wrestling to get them into, and you can't give them any leotards or outfits where the top is attached to the bottom because you need to be able to let the tail poke out over the waistband.

Mio is here. She's basically the same structurally as Nanoho, so average poseability, nothing crazy. She definitely is more unique than Nanaho, I really like her shark theme.She shares Nanaho's rattley skirt, and it's WAY worse here since here there isn't a shirt to at least hold it down some. The skirt loves to slip up make tons of noise and get turned in strange directions. A small ball joint to hold it in place would not have been the end of the world, especially when the skirtless pelvic area is a gappy mess to begin with.
The peanut knees are still ugly as hell, and the elbow construction is still pretty shit, but if you can overlook the couple issues I 100% say pick a Mio up. She is so unique the odd design quirks can be easily overlooked.Her feet are MASSIVE.

Didn't really expect her lower body to be as much of a brick as it is, her hip has to drop down and then her leg has to thread through the gap in the middle of her armor to get about a 60 degree bend. It's super weird, because her hip armor is articulated until you put the white cloth parts on... and then the joint is pushed inwards so much it practically cups her hips.Her shield looks great though. The tassels like to pop off constantly, but a needle file can easily fix that.

Fiores, especially the early ones, had really horrible face sculpts; Megalomaria typically has their characters with masks (with only the more recent ones having humanoid faces with moving eyes, which actually DO look good). If the "transcendentally hideous" part you're referring to are the shapes of the bodies, that's intentional - with the exception of the new Maria, all of the other characters in the line are supposed to be depicting literal robots (which may or may not also be some sort of demon things that people can form contracts with), joints and all (with the Emulators basically being Terminators - robots mimicking humans).
