Seconding this. They may have their ups and downs but they're basically the ones that got me into imports with their Dragon Ball SHF line back in 2009 and they've released tons of figures from some of my favorite anime since.

McFarlane. Whether or not you like them, they changed the toy industry. They forced higher-quality toy sculpts with better details. They became the first independent toymaker in a generation to find its way into the big chain stores. Yeah their articulation was lacking at the time but with Gen-X collectors keeping everything MISB/MOC for "investment" that didn't make much of a difference. They forced the whole industry to do better. Not many companies can say that.
