This was my haul. I know there's another Albertsons truck variety that's closer to scale. The Matchbox one wasn't for the car, it's for the nostalgia as what it's what they used to look like.
Would any of you know if they're doing Halloween Hot Wheels this year?
>>11895825Yes, and it will include NASCAR Dodge.
2000's castings were indestructible
>>11895825I can confirm they do and I have actually manged to get a complete set, first time finding a Halloween hot wheels cars, some of them are pretty cool, Think the pumkin delivery one is my favorite in this set,
>>11895825yep
scalpers are turning this into the new pokemon
>>11896385What store did you find them?
>>11896906i saw them at fred meyers
>>11884975want to do this to, i've got some good markers and started by adding some details to this maisto 250 (pic related). To get a crisp and clean line along the entire profiles is pretty hard. Visually, however, the result is satisfying, even though it is far from good.I have an old '68 chevy nova that need to be restored and it'll be my first project, hope don't fuck up the paint and i'll try to make my decals too. Anxiety is holding me back>>11896297have a dodge copperhead first edition (metal/metal) that could really hurt if i threw it at someone>>11896851mfs already did it. Even normies are flipping mainlines nowaday, it's not even "people in the hobby" anymore. Goddamn socials are a plague in this regard
How much could I get for these? They're still in good condition and all but one are from multipacks with cars I actually do care about.>>11896385Nice. I only found the Alpha Pursuit last store I looked.
>>11896906Krogers, Theres been a few people looking for them from what i have seen it was by accident I found them.
>>11897295Just keep them, nigger. They're cool.
>>11897295>That subaru and beetleKeep em
>"man, that hot wheels movie, amirite?"
>>11897563>>11897620You're right, I'd probably regret getting rid of them.
I think I made some good finds today. They're from 2025 and I haven't seen them before.
I found a Lamborghini Countach. That's all I want in life.>>11898093That Audi has a really loud turbo flutter on the real car. It sounds like a giant bird chiping.
I CAN'T FUCKING FIND FERRARIS NOWHERE
>>11898093i've got the black one of that escort because of the Vatanen's v-rally escort>>11898169good, now find and slap some 5dots on it>filenamewhat game?>>11898198>NOWHEREthere's your problem. Should have looked SOMEWHERE.anyway i can't find spaghetti cars anywhere either, moreover lately has become difficult to find hw/mbx in the stores
>>11896297They look cooler too.
>>11898381
Old Street Shaker vs. New Street Shaker. I like the new one's sparkly paint but the old one has shiny chrome plastic. After checking the wiki I wish I'd bought the black one instead of the blue one.
>>11898381Oh my god
>>11898596Yeah they were good
>>11899281My fav 24/Seven edition. Clear windows, open spoiler. I remember there was also green variant of this edition.
Posting more cool old hotwheels so zoomers know what we have lost.
The best part? You don't have to compete with jobless Mexican just for a $1 car.
The next release of the X-Cceleron looks pretty sick.
>>11899526Clyp looking ass.
>>11899332wish i could get way2fast, turbine time and hot seat>>11899281was really that expensive to leave the open spoiler? Now they're retooling models to include the spoiler in the cast itself but that open slot was too much?>>11899531you have a point. Just like k.i.t.t. concept reminds of the mass production evas. Also >>11899526 would fit as one of the "devil"s from ridge racer serie>>11899335are you indonesian?
>>11899526The artwork sold me on the first one.
>>11899595I'm not a pajeet, what's wrong with you?
>>11899939>don't have to compete with jobless Mexican just for a $1 carmy bad, assumed you were getting them straight from the factory
>bought an expensive Tonkin Replicas tractor trailer at a gift shop>one of the mirrors (held on by a stiff, tiny wire) is already brokenDamn.
>>11900578nothing unfixable at least hopefully
>>11899335Spoiler broke off mine's :-(
New Matchbox R35 is dope. Stays in true 1/64 along with Supra and Mitsubishi 3000GT.
>>11900780They need to make more of shitboxes
>>11900713nothing a drop of superglue can't fix>>11900781what do you have in mind?About matchbox, i remember seeing a diablo casting among others in a preview from early '26. Yet i'm not aware of any new release
I both am sad and thankful that there are no diecast specialty stores around me. On one hand it's really hard to find good stuff around me unless you really scrounge at the local flea market. On the other it's definitely saving my wallet.
>>11898246>slap some 5dots on itThe closest I can find are Chika 1/64 Rotiform Dias and they cost 20 times the car itself. I'll pass.>what gameNFS Unbound. Legitimately the worst experience I've had with a racing game. Not even the car selection could make up for it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J25lB3pX9FYthese new tomicas are neat
>>11901651
>>11901653Is Tomica muscling in on Kaido House?
>>11901677apparently these are affordable version, tomica premium quality wise, but they do look good apart from the wheels
>>11900780Nice. Majorette "1/64" are all a little off, but conveniently labeled with their actual scale. GTR is 1:62, Supra 1:56, Z 1:58.
Came back from the store with no new cars but I grabbed the Countach I'd been eyeing for a while and finally caved on the spring Veloce since it was the last one they had. Yes, it's purple and blue-green, but I kind of love it.
Another angle. I don't think I'll be placing the cars with plastic wheels on concrete anymore because it scratched the plastic more than I thought it would.
>>11899526>metal flake paintMe gusta!>captchas are now 2/2Nice.
>>11902413>>11902414Man, that purple is intense in the sun.
>>11900831I lost it 15 years ago :-(
got this little guy today, not a fan of HW casts, but i do like the decals
Metalflake purple chads, rise up!
>>11900472I mean, at Walmart, they wait there for an entire day to wait for new cases to arrive and just snatch every cool care right from boxes before they hit the pegs. I stopped collecting hotwheels because of that.
>>11902917Scalpers ruin the hobby for everyone else. It's almost impossible to find Skylines on the pegs because of faggots like that.
