New thread since the last one got autosaged as usual. New leak bey (luster dragoon 6-60LC). Hopefully the hasbro release drops soon because they've clearly started acting with the stock issues too with how much stuff I suddenly see at regular prices on amazon, got my glory valkyrie ordered up for a regular 13e
Found Sharks and Whales at Walmart earlier this week. Now that I have access to Elevate I might finally get around to using Dragoons. This is awesome and feels like when you finally unlock a new area in a game after grinding for so long because it had been a drought of Red Arrow Wizards and Rhino Horns for what feels like forever. Best of luck to the rest of you guys with your Beyhunting!
>>11897320Pretty fucking lucky, literally all ive found personally anywhere in my country IRL is just a bunch of the leftover green buckets at giga clearance prices
>>11897320>>11897328How many of these things are there?I see these all the time at Ross Clearance Outlets and elsewhere, and never understood how they were "toys?"
>>11897513>How many of these things are there?they've been making these for over 25 years now but even just looking at the X line there's still like a hundred of them at this point>and never understood how they were "toys?"what's there to understand, they're spinning tops. that's like acting befuddled at the sight of a yo-yo.
>>11897320Lucky. The only good 10$ booster I can find are the soar phoenix with hexa ones.
Anyone know if the stadium for this new set is the good one? Like the one for tournaments.
>>11897760>after a billion rolls, I still have to wait until november for my colorless aero like a fucking peasant because takara was too busy making a blue coat aero everyone can easily get in octoberI'll never forgive them for this betrayalwhat the fuck
>>11897139Theres no chance this thing isnt insane, ive been waiting for a left spinner that doesnt end up as just spin steal slop
>>11897760>Xtreme Stadium>Clear Black x GreenYes, it's the standard stadium everyone uses.
>>11898137With this the last two clear sets had green X rails... son of a bitch, I just want something different. That pink on the CX launch stadium was pretty nifty. What sucks is I have an old beater OG stadium set release that's black with green rails, so I can't even rail swap them for a custom setup.
>>11898237id personally like for them to bring back that yellow xtreme line from the UX 04 stadium set that had dran buster and wizard rod, but with the clear stadium
I still have never seen on shelves:Bullet, Strike, Valkrie or ScaleFuckin' want em.
New pic of luster, how long does it usually take for takara beys to get hasbro releases?
>>11898907Usually a good couple of months. You're better off getting a proxy so you can order from TakaraTomy directly
>>11898786meanwhile there's literally Bullet and Strike here everywhere
>>11897139>>11898907
Its unreal how dead this entire board is nowadays, is everyone just beyond poor because of how destroyed the economy is or is there some other reason?
>>11900761>is everyone just beyond poor because of how destroyed the economy isGot it in one
>>11900761that's a major factor but another issue is the board itself. the mandatory 2-week autosage is a system I frankly don't understand, on faster boards its a complete non-issue and on slower boards like this it completely kills any discussion of more niche topics. honestly, we got it pretty good compared to threads like the ones for fashion dolls or army men. and of course 4chan in general has seen a downturn over the years and especially ever since the hack a few years back, which really doesn't help matters.
>>11901130We wouldn't need a two-week autosage if we just had mods that did their fucking jobs.
>>11900965I think it's a combination of how destroyed the economy is and the fact that the toy companies are only producing things that make enough profits. So nicher lines that /toy/ would talk about aren't being produced or made in fewer numbers. Seems like only China is expanding on the toys that /toy/ cares about, but very few people get into those lines, because who trusts China? Just look at the coomer thread to see all the problems that they're having. If something isn't made of brittle potatos, there are problems with the paint or the plastic yellowing. It's a lot of quarity for Japanese collector toy prices, so only a couple of people are crazy enough to buy that shit.>>11901130I think it's more than that, because a lot of anons have done a good job at keeping at keeping popular threads from sinking too far below the waterline. A significant amount of posters stopped posting when captcha stopped supporting older browsers and the captcha itself changed. So a lot of casuals are being kept from joining in on /toy/ discussion due to technical issues, most people not reading past page 1 of /toy/, and fewer toylines that interests people.
Bird finally won.Life has been completed, what there is even more to watch for?
>>11902298which scientifically proven off-meta bey build did he use?
>>11902305Well about that, he's using Hellsnether low mode, which is just shark scale. So of course he won that.
Considering how CX, multi's idea, was kind of a bust and the BX/UX lines (plus their infinite side-line) are the ones more popular with players, this page really aged well.
What’s the chances they do a modern version of my og?
>>11903431High I guess since inevitably no matter what they'll end up repeating the same ideas/concepts to some extent, whether or not its a direct 1:1 reference is a different thing entirely
>>11903431X-over? Not a chance. Leon Claw is probably the best you're going to get.
>>11903476I've had this theory that there is sub-set of beys that, despite lacking the symbol, are designed to be references to older beys.
>>11903644Id barely even call it a theory because its so blatantly obvious, partly spiritual successors, partly references, partly evolutions of the same idea. You can only come up with so many new things, so the question is how much do they want to intentionally make them different from the originals. Personally I think shark scale actually reminds me a lot of Dranzer even though its not exactly 1:1, maybe if it had a phoenix theme more people would see it because of the shape and the attack/stamina output it can have
>>11903642NTA that's more of a modern Galeon 2, which sucked.
Holy fucking power creep. This thing has got to be meta, because I've only been able to defeat it in 1 out of 40 launches. Tech for dealing with this beast? Basically you want to go very tall or very short, but if you're too short then you no-clip past this UX's "ratchet."
>>11903824https://www.bbxweekly.com/It's not even in the top 15 best blades for tournament tops.
>>11903908I swear you guys will find any excuse to not discuss things here. See ya later.
>>11904167Until they ban shark scale and wizard rod there is actually so little to discuss when it comes to competitive.
>>11904250Not him but why would those two beys prevent competitive discussion? Even if someone runs both in their deck, theres still one slot open. If anything I think Wizard is simply overused because they printed a shitload of them, and for some reason they basically made the green wizard rod the best ever BBX release in terms of pure value. Im not saying its not good but its not some unbeatable juggernaut that warps the entire game around its existence, no matter what any competition will always have top tiers, the question is if those top tiers can be beaten and especially outplayed
>>11904253>If anything I think Wizard is simply overused because they printed a shitload of themAero Pegasus is 3rd most tournament tops and still costs well over 100$ to buy one. Shark Scale being 1st and is the hardest Hasbro blade to find for MSRP and only comes in an expensive deck set for TT. Easy availability means very little for competitive players.
>>11904606Im not denying that, but at the same time its obvious ease of access and cost is a factor for just how widespread rod is. I certainly dont champion the idea of "banning" rod and shark because it establishes a very scary precedent for the game and just lets them reach that same powercreep again via new products, and surprise surprise suddenly those "need" to get banned too so the new cycle of the latest meta can take hold etc etc. If they want wizard rod to stop showing up then they simply stop printing them and eventually dran strike has cracked each copy on this planet
Check my haul
>>11906779Still want a Daciel, keep passing on it
So according to the back of every beyblade box we aren't even out the max height for ratchets yet. We should be getting 90 height at some point. I wonder if they'll actually try to make them good because 80 already barely sees any play.
>>11906779Nice. Draciel is the only worth there WHOA THE FUCK, THERE'S RED VERSION DRANZER ON X?
Made up a new format with my niece today. We put my entire collection out there on the carpet, separated by blade, ratchet and bit. CX upper and lower were stock loadouts to save time and fiddling. Each player chooses two at a time for six total drafts, then you select ratchets and then bits in the same manner. Repeats of anything but blade allowed up to twice.Draft War -- 12 on 12, single round elimination, points are tracked to beat ties, choose your champion that gets a revive if it falls before the end. Play every one of your twelve once in any order, track winners and losers. The player with the bigger body count pile wins the war. I won my first few rounds but then switched her to a winder and she started kicking my ass. She won 7:5 I had some good points from knockouts and bursts though. For the winner's lap we forced each other to take bad combos to see who could get the losers cup. I think I got handed a really tall and heavy Emperor with quake. It didn't fly so good.
Newfag from last time who bought meteor dragoon. So uh, i regret not picking up the NFL set when i had the chances. I managed to upgrade myy meteor but i only have the sterling wolf and cobalt that i plan to use in locals. The only product I bought are; the optimus prime vs metabee set and the rumbling rvials back. And now these two (stun medusa and rage ragna) I wanna use to parts to upgrade the wolf and cobalt but im unsure if i should get another medua or just buy a soar phx with the string.
>>11907547If you can get soar, grab soar. String launcher kicks ass, and phoenix is a phenomenal attacker. They go out of stock fairly often, so don't wait too long.
>>11906779Wish the Hasbro packaging was based on their original boxes.
>>11907660Soar with string is easily attainable here so i may as well get it, thanks. Also the yggdrassil pack is on sale for like 22 but i only want the glide piece , shame rudder is about the same price.
Place your bets lads
>>11907689>not one of them comes with a green 5-50
>>11907689Green and Yellow
>>11907681>yggdrassil packI honestly got it for that owl sphynx set up. Having a 9-80 on deck is never a bad thing. Plus I didn't have the other two to pad my collection. Between the two though, I still really like the string launcher, so do what you will with the information.
Why do so few of you guys actually play?
>>11908322No clue where you got this idea. Im a newer player though but I play pretty much exactly as much as I currently can, aka whenever people are hosting events and I can travel to them locally within my means. Id definitely do it more if the community here was bigger, probably every day for at least some time if I lived in some beyblade central like the big asian countries
>>11908322No, I collect, and every now and then I play with a friend or my sister
>>11903431They made, uh, this thing.
>>11908322I was struggling with my father's health but he's better now so I could go to the tournaments. Now that I want to get back into it, though, I want to save for a PC to play this dumb chinkshit game... Because I spent all my money from last year on beys...
>>11908322My city has a weekly "free spin" and monthly tournie. Every time I have gone to the weekly, it's either one other guy, or everyone bails, despite the facebook group having 15+ people saying they'll be there. I have resigned to having a small catfood dish on my desk and launching into that now and again as a "fidget" toy. Now I{ just collect because I like collecting.
New Phoenix/garuda leaked
>>11908322chronic health issues and most of the people that play near me are weird
>>11909356Different anon, another leak. Supposedly the blue rod is for upcoming Customize Set
>>11909458With shark scale yellow variant included on the set
>>11909459Also full leak image, Red Valkyrie I think is for upcoming gacha (?)

>>11910433I love how Blaze changes Beyblades every season but still remains a useless character in the plot
Newfag here i saw this and 1 single fucking reaper incendio at target today, i was told kick is good so i got the reaper but this dark perseus any good?
>>11911487Wedge is also great for defense but perseus not so much.
>>11911487Only wedge bit is good, the rest not so much
>>11911487Perseus is cool, but I think the blade is completely overshadowed by Fortress
>>11910433>Metal-65We seriously need more Clock Mirage type blades to make use of all this simple ratchets. There is no point to ever run any of these unless a blade exclusively uses simple ratchets.
>>11913204It would be cool to have a Beyblade with a gimmick that makes simple ratchets hard to burst.Maybe a system with an internal sleeve.I could see a "Tiger" evolution using that
I want to start playing Beyblade X as it's played a lot in my city and it looks like fun. Is there some sort of united database on the different parts and what they do and which beys to look out for?
>>11913423https://www.bbxweekly.com/ compiles the most recent tournament tops so you can see which parts are meta. Learning which sets come with which parts typically just takes a lot of googling and wiki searching https://beyblade.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Ratchets
>entered tourney>got ym ass raped BADIt was fun but fuckAnyone have a build for rage ranga? DO i NEED heavy on it
>>11914987Heavy goes perfectly with Rage Ragna because of it's 2 metal plates matching up perfectly with it's 2 blade design. There is also just a general lack of viable assist blades.
>>11915089Well fuck, alright, ill try to get he pack than. Atleast the beys look nice in it.
>>11914987"Heavy" is recommended, but I've seen builds using "Erase" to make the most of the oval shape in offensive combinations.
>>11915573Make sure you aren't looking at results from stock combo tournaments. Erase is the assist blade it comes with.
>>11913204>exclusively uses simple ratchetsAre there any that do this?
>>11916535Clock mirage
>found a carrier Blast Pegasus in the most random store today>not even marked up, but retail priceI guess going for a walk pays off sometimes.
>>11916738Blast Pegasus has been easy to get. Every Target near me has had them on the shelves since release. People really don't like paying the upcharge for a useless green brick launcher.
>>11916753Probably in the USA. Over here where I am Beyblade is a dearth. Absolutely nothing. The same Yell Kong double packs warming pegs for months. Though I do think this store imports things from america because they had Star Wars and Marvel beys for sale which I think are USA exclusive. (though ironically, despite being european, I'm actually most interested in the NFL beys.)
>>11916753>useless green brick launcherI-I like the launcher..
>>11916798I’m Italian, and I find Beyblades quite easily—both on Amazon and in toy stores.Amazon releases tend to happen almost at the same time as in the US, while in physical stores, Medusa and Black Phoenix have just arrived; however, I managed to find the Emperor set quite easily at a shop
>>11916798>Star Wars and Marvel beys for sale which I think are USA exclusiveThe best crossover set, the Grogu one, is Australian exclusive. It is the only Hasbro set with elevate bit aside from Tide Whale. No clue if any other regions will ever get it.
>I get better Beyblade discussion and news from Zankye than this place Grim.
Zankye in his Christian twink form is seriously fuckable
>>11917643he's been dropping album cover shots in his videos, I know what you mean
Bros I love my valor bison. What would you say is the best bit for it? I'm toying with disc ball (Trying to make it work on ANYTHING), elevate, or wall ball. Stock free ball is also really good.
>>11918118Some use it in offensive ways whit level or LR
Can we start just killing scalpers already? I don't want to pay sixty bucks, plus shipping, for a glory valkyrie that I'm going to put on rubber accel anyways.
>>11918814>rubber accelIs this viable?? I was thinking of using mine (That I did in fact pay sixty fucking dollars for, kill me) on a gear rush.
>>11918814>I don't want to pay sixty bucks, plus shipping, for a glory valkyrieyou dont need to, at least recently the different amazon sites (remember to shift through different country variants) have been upping the hasbro stock for all kinds of beys, although at least my valkyrie still hasnt been shipped even though I bought it a month ago since they must just keep piling up massive orders, to the point where the shipping estimate for it actually goes all the way over to the next year (in the worst case scenario)
>>11918834Probably not. I'm just thinking that, if I'm going to use the bey I want to go all-in on the valk tribute and use a rubber bit. But maybe the extra grip from the rubber and the spring-loaded blade gives it a good kick at the cost of basically negative stamina.>>11918837I hope I can get one at msrp. I love blade gimmicks and it's been my white whale for a while now since getting bullet griffin.
>>11918837>hasnt been shipped even though I bought it a month agoI bought a dran strike and a draciel shield back in like fucking july. Those are never EVER coming. I got lucky and found them both local so I canceled them and reported them for "fake listings" since they already took my money, which I got back.
>>11918845>Those are never EVER coming.I find that hard to believe, they specifically showed the shipping estimate way further than the other stuff I bought probably due to the high demand, the shipping window being roughly 6 months (although it might actually get shipped way sooner as more of the orders get fulfilled)
>>11918837>>11918842>Swap to amazon in a non-america country>Can get it at msrp>but I'm paying just as much for shipping and there's a delay of 1-3 monthsI am, once again, calling for the publicized execution of scalpers.

>>11918814Hasbro has at least started mass printing all their newer releases. Bison, Blitz, and Aether are still all over Walmarts. But TT has a bigger issue where Beyblade has gotten UNBELIEVABLY POPULAR in Korea who are coming over to Japan to scalp everything.
>>11909356Phoenix Force WH M-65MT
>>11919735I was expecting an Overblade with metal parts—though I have no idea if a higher center of gravity offers any major advantages; it’s probably fine for offensive combos
>>11919763From the looks of things, the over blade has metal weights riveted underneath. Perhaps the tabs are metal?
>>11919735>Heavy metal phoenix>Literally metal on all the parts>Trapped in a deck set that'll be extremely expensive due to scalpers wanting it ALONG WITH ANOTHER FUCKING SHARK SCALEI'm so fucking tired. It's the same as Knight Shield V2 being trapped in the "Scalp Me, Daddy" box with Aero Pegasus. Someone put a gun to TT's head and make them aware that people(me) would very much like to order directly from them to circumvent the fucking """secondary resellers""".
>>11919735>metal bitthe fuck? why would they keep making new bits that are obviously gonna get banned?
>>11919788It's possible; those parts look like they're made of metal
>>11919793Because it's cool.
>>11919793daily reminder that no stadium has ever been punctured by a metal needle
>>11919792>Trapped in a deck set that'll be extremely expensive due to scalpers wanting it ALONG WITH ANOTHER FUCKING SHARK SCALEI think the deck set is just Scythe, Rod, and Scale with Phoenix being a different release.
>>11919793Metal Needle is only banned due to being a literal spike that can dent your stadium. Metal Taper is much duller, so it shouldn't have this issue.
>>11919793what this anon said >>11919807but also metal tips in past generations, mostly the flat and ball tips were quite good
Knight Shield V2 has become Rod 2.0https://x.com/tonkibeyblade/status/2108877158697587131
>>11920345I find the v2 versions a bit boring; I would have preferred at least some slight differences, particularly in the plastic parts

>>11919735>ALL METAL PARTS!>plastic chip...
Since we're getting Metal Taper, I might have a good reason to try a return into the game since I can recreate my main beyblade from the plastic era: a wonky bagged Griffolyon with a metal semiflat tip and a 10-wide tightly sandwiched between the base and the attack ring.Does Bahamut Blitz work like Alter Chronos? And, I hear that in CX beys it's preferable to have the assist blade not protrude past the metal blade, is that right?
Has anyone used Suppress Superion yet? I've been out of the game for a couple of months now, but I remember it was getting hyped as potential top tier around release. I haven't seen it in any of the Top 10 meta roundup videos, or in the WBO combo thread.
>>11922804It's a Hasbro exclusive for now and only recently started releasing outside of Canada. So not many people have gotten their hands on it yet to bring to tournaments. a lot of the hype simply comes from how heavy it is.
