Currently building Soundwave which I fucked up horrendously a while ago. I just want to make sure of something. For the hips, are these tabs supposed to plug in? I was watching a building video to make absolutely sure but he assembled it so that the tabs are resting under where the port is, and I thought that didn't seem right. I just want to be sure before I completely fuck this thing up again.
>>
>>11900115
How the build video has it:
>>
>>11900115
I don't think those are supposed to plug in. in this photo >>11900117 the tab seems way too low to plug in. I think this is a dual hinge type of waist joint. I think those tabs are just there as stoppers for whatever the large bottom peg plugs into. as long as you haven't broken any plastic, you're doing good. I don't have this kit so I can't say for certain what they do but from what I can tell, the tabs don't plug in.
>>
>>11900127
That makes sense, yeah. Thank you.
>>

So arcee would fit with them too, since she is roughly the same size as mirage.

I think some of the earlier Classic boxes are a tad smaller than more recent ones. It appears that they are keeping them in production because the early ones are what I'd showing up at Target, like the Classic #10 Megatron that I saw on the shelf at Target a few weeks back, that is still there now, so they are selling slowly, or restocking
The #27 Bumblebee is just a few hairs below 10.5cm.
Was thinking of getting a second Deadpool but I want the price to drop to $14+ at Target, like it has for the Cap and Thor. Fortunately, one employee confirmed that the boxes I saw were re-stocks.
No clue why they aren't producing enough Defenders or Galaxy boxes, because every store I have checked in the last two weeks has not had any in stock.
At least, the app is now letting you do some ordering to some stores to not waste a trip.

Managed to get him up to the arms today and I have some thoughts:
-I hate nubs but I think I might hate sanding marks even more, even with the 7000 grit paper I have to polish it, it still looks ugly, and I don't really want to get paint (I am new to the whole model building thing, only other kit I've attempted is the HG Master Gundam which I never finished and had similar thoughts on)
-After fiddling with the fingers I think I'd much prefer having interchangeable hands, these took a lot of effort to get the joints to unstick and I almost snapped a ball joint off of a finger in the process (that's more my fault, admittedly)
-Arms and wrists really enjoy popping out when I try to pose them
Minor grips aside it does look nice, I enjoy the chest window being semi functional, and I look forward to finishing the build. The light up/voice feature is also pretty cool, even though I understand about half of what he's saying.
>>
File: Optimus Primal.jpg (109 KB, 600x939)

>>11900586
I thought the nub issue was helped by the jewelry tools/clippers for wires, etc. I bought a cheap set, about $3.99, but then I plan to build more than one or two random kits, plus I also kit bash/customize regular action figures and figured I would get some use of out the tools.
But it's fair complaints. The three Action and Classic TF I own were all like under $5 when I picked them up, and the listings are flooded with reviews of Mom's bitching that the toys require assembly or had small pieces their kids swallowed, or stupid shit like that, but even the people who wrote they had done models in the past, wrote this about the first one I got, the Optimus Primal for $3.50.
>>
>>11900324
it's very easy to build. probably easier than SD kits. very straight forward. there's some simple mods that you can do to make the elbow and knee articulation better and all you need to do is cut the limiter tabs in the knee and elbow joints

Got it done

>How is it
It's good, but I do have some questions on why some of the gate connections are located where they are. There is no reason the white helmets top have sprue connections right in the front rather than the back

Overall this is a much better "toy" than bandai's kit. But if you want accuracy bandai is still the way to go.
Also finishing this it is clear to me the imperial stormtroop got gimped once again for being the earlier kit.

I wonder if they will make a proper snowtrooper, atat driver and pilot for the line. Like those 3 are what is left for the main imperial force. They can repaint the clones all they want but those will have to be new mold.

Another thing

The black parts of the mask are probably stamped on so they are not able to fill the dip all the way, the 2 vents in the chin are also slight off center. The problem is a lot less severe with the Mach 1 helmet.
>>
>>11900721
apart from height, my only issue with stromtroopers are the knees. i could solve the height issue by buying the han solo version but man those knees are FUCKED. glad to see they arent on these clone troopers
>>
File: P_20260917_175148~01.jpg (561 KB, 1643x1836)
561 KB JPG
Honestly speaking the height issue with the stormtrooper is not that bad. It's the Vader that is way too small for someone supposed to be 2 meters tall.

I think people just want to have a stormtrooper that is BIG even though that does not necessarily reflect what happened in the original 3 films.
>>
>>11900771
I actually welcome the height variations in the STs. with han solo version, you can get a taller one build armies of varying height. though im pretty sure the luke version is the same height as base ST

You can come back and be OP anytime, anon.
The current OP simply copy pasted my last OP, and I wish he had chopped some unnecessary things out (like the sentence in the WTB pastebin).
And I think I'm the one that originally copied over but edited down your FAQs? But only to try to get it down to one graph, instead of two?
I still miss your OP photos as I said in the last thread when someone was asked me about why I didn't want just any or every Pokemon figure.
For example, PICREL looks interesting but why should I want it on my shelves when I have no clue what it is?

>Champion - SW Obi Wan [16th SEPTEMBER]
>Champion - SW Cody [16th SEPTEMBER]
These two are up for pre-order at BBTS, fair prices. Like the Ani and ST, they MIGHT show up at Walmart at a discount, but it will probably take some weeks like it did with those. It depends on how badly you want to army build or wait to save $5 per. Also, BBTS will let you cancel pre-orders and, at worse, give you store credit.

># # # PICREL

Still not being sold DIRECTLY by Walmart, but the DC Arkham Defenders case boxes are currently at the Walmart site and app for the same MSRP as the Blokees Official US site and Entertainment Earth/BBTS price but you can get them FREE SHIPPED.
Fulfilled directly by third party seller, NOT Walmart - but I have personally bought regular/non-kit action figures from this particular seller, and they have packed well.

>>11902001
I think a lot of people who were making the Transformer Defenders and even many people making the TFs and other Galaxy (I guess now Hero05s, Hero10s?) were the ones expressing that. Since the first kit I ever ordered and received came damaged (the Superman 2025 via crushed UmiUmi service) AND it already had pieces that were simply snapped and cracked off the sprues, after asking around the gunpla and custom threads, I just decided to get the tools and even get a mat cutting board.
But I have also been getting into kitbashing and customizing PVC and ABS figures, so also bought this stuff for those purposes.
I think at minimum we should, maybe, start recommending sanding paper and Gundam type markers in the OP?
