Despite a few nitpicks (I’d prefer smaller door kibble, thicker thighs, and lower knee placement) I really like this design. Cool that the robot mode references the Flame Toys design so heavily, despite some proportional differences and an earth-based car mode.

This feels like a parallel universe where Iron Factory steadily matured/refined as a company, instead of randomly dropping a samurai figure every so often (which still have simplistic engineering and sculpting).

This is my biggest problem with Ronin. It's too big to be legends scale, it's too small to be proper CHUG "deluxe scale." I just don't understand what they were thinking with the scaling, especially with the S-02 designation. Romulus was too small for CHUG scale as well but they were trying to scale it with the Siege/Earthrise Prime from what I've heard.

wtf why their other two colors of this mold were great. If you like this guy you are doomed not even Hasbro cares enough to make a repaint. At least transart did Packrat.

I think people have been blasting Metagate loudly enough online that they'll cave and correct the colors... I hope.

Also, I'm really glad MP Rattrap got KO'ed recently. It gives me hope that they'll release it in Packrat colors before Takara does.
