>>11905260
>>11905262
>>11905264I can't be bothered with solving 14 captchas for another Hush Batman
>>11905260this is the comic panel btw
>>11905260I guess they can't fuck up Cass' headsculpt, at least.
>>11905266It's Batman again, we know most of what we're getting anyway.
Man, what the fuck happened to the face sculpts at Mafex? They were never amazing, but they have gotten so much worse this year. I wonder if they hired some nepotism face sculptor or something, because they need to get new staff in. Inart and probably UPF are going to be doing Matrix figures and this shit just won't cut it anymore. If they lose the Marvel License comic license or if Disney decide to become less retarded and actually give it to some Chinese studio, I genuinely think Mafex is fucked. They have to either innovate their designs/quality or drop their prices, this current structure isn't going to work for long. They might get away with it with Neo because there are no competitors yet, they are first to market, but they have to release it fast, because otherwise Inart is going to announce theirs, get it out within a few weeks and everyone is going to cancel the Mafex. >>11905204 Sweet weapon accessories though.
>>11905260Ooof, they need to work on that smiling head sculpt.>>11905266Now do a set of bare legs and feet and I can I can do a Mafex Weapon X.
>>11905280Actually, they might be content with just the Japanese market, considering Japan is fucking over any Chinese figure imports, so my drivel might only apply to the international base. I have no idea how big the international market is to Mafex.
I didn't know there was a Mafex general. Do we know if more Matric characters are coming? I'd love to see Smith and Trinitu maybe Morpheous
>>11905357>I'd love to see Smith and TrinityBased on Mafex's other females, that might be a monkey paw wish.
>>11905280Picrel is their Batman Begins that came out almost a decade ago. Obviously the same sculptor as Neo.
>>11905396Whoever did the sculpt for the Hugh Jackman Wolverines did a damn good job.
>>11905357Yeah I'm hoping for at least Trinity, Smith and Morpheus, and then in the long run, Neo in the monk coat from the sequels.
>>11905211How did they mess up his face so bad after doing John Wick so well? This is really annoying.
>>11905399I mean I dunno Anon, I think even Marvel Legends arguably did it better, it's far from definitvely better at least, which is kind of mad considering the price difference. The nose is so bulbous, same as the Batgirl in this thread, they are all just off.
They don't show any torso articulation with this Neo either, which is worrying.

>>11905506You can literally see the gap >>11905218
>>11905280>Inart and probably UPF are going to be doing Matrix figures and this shit just won't cut it anymore.speculation or was that announced anywhere?
>>11905172what are the chances they do Agent Smith?
>>11906251I didn't mean he doesn't have a cut, I mean on none of the pictures is he posed with it moved at all, so I suspect it has zero range.
>>11906291Are you telling me he can't suck his own dick?
>>11905505Ew>>11905211Looks like a generic asian guy without the sunnies
>>11906328>looks like a generic asian guySo...Keanu Reeves then?
>>11906282I can't imagine it not happening
>>11906282Pretty good. If Neo sells well I'd be shocked if they didn't do the whole cast.
>>11906258Sorry took so long to respond. Not officially announced afaik, I can't remember if an employee has confirmed they are working on the license (I actually think they have somewhere), but there are people who have access with both companies who have said they have seen prototype shots of him and to maybe hold off on this Neo if you only want one figure of him, because the others look amazing. In addition, I was watching a stream with an Inart employee who said, "the same company that makes Valorant also makes other games too *wink wink nudge*" a few weeks before they announced a League of Legends line and he basically did the same when asked about The Matrix. UPF listed it as one of the options of licenses they have under WB that they can make figures for if people wanted it, they actually did a poll a while back for it and Ass Creed won. There is basically no doubt, it's just a matter of when. Based on Inart's increased output, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not far off, but who knows.
>>11905204Wait a minute, is that a Nokia 8110? That's awesome lmao, they did an amazing job with the accessories.
>>11906282>>11909029I need a Morpheus
>>11909988100% agree. That nigga was super cool.
>>11905204can i pay in yen?
>>11905172yeah mafex is done
>>11905204i worry this means they'll start doing exclusive accessories like many of the other companies with their own shops
>>11905505Detail work isn't as sharp but it's a better likeness than the Mafex, I think.
>>11912269who is doing these?
>>11912443inart
>>11912269>>11912460Scale?
>>119124721/12
>>11912269Is the Matrix still popular enough to sell a whole lineup of $150+ action figures?
>>11912496they basically cost the same as a mafex
>>11912496I have unironically been waiting for a matrix 1 Neo figure my entire life I had to stop myself several times from paying rape prices for that old chinese one
>>11912496They have my wallet.
>>11912269
>>11912534
>>11912496Yes. The original directors may be insane trannies now but the original movies are still widely regarded as timeless masterpieces.
>>11912269>>11912460When is this coming out?
>>11912493Inart is not 1/12 scale. They're male figures are all 7 inch or taller. Or for non-Americans 17.78 centimeters.
>>11912585Good to know. I'm pretty picky about scale so I'll probably stick to the mafex figures.
>>11912585Depends, the movie figure are actually 1/12 while games are 1/10honestly i have no clue, just wait for a review sample
>>11912585>>11912602This isn't true.>>11912641Anon is correct, they have different scales for different lines. Their movie figures (Dark Knight, Bruce Lee etc.) are standard 1/12, leaning more towards SHF scale, smaller than Marvel Legends/GI Joe. Black Myth Wukong line is also 1/12. Their DC Metal line is larger 1/10th scale and so are their Arkham video game line, whilst their comic lines, which we don't have figures of yet, are supposed to be in the Mafex scale.
>>11912649They're definitely 1/12. You can tell by the size of the base. There is a larger base for the comic figures that has three peg holes.
>>11912540insane they may be, but at least they still aware how fucking awful 4 was
>>11912660Indeed.
>>11912649>Their movie figures (Dark Knight, Bruce Lee etc.) are standard 1/12Last time I checked Christian Bale is not 6 and a half feet tall. He's exactly 6 foot so Inart should've made his Batman figure 6 inches tall for it to be 1/12 scale. 1/12 is simple math, not a marketing buzzword used to describe figures that aren't 7 inches or taller.
>>11912667Nigga who fucking care, if it scale with other 1/12 its fine
>>11912672I own true 1/12 scale figures and Inart Movie Batman is a head taller than them. Stop thinking you can lie about how math works.
I just wish I could have a decent Keaton Batman.
>>11912663I fully subscribe to the theory that they tanked 4 on purpose as an FU to Warner Bros.
>>11912688I will always HATE Mezco for making me wait 3 years for a rubber piece of shit
>>11912534Judging by the base, they look larger than 1/12. Later this day, when I find some free time, I'm gonna put some 1/12 scale fig on this stand and make a comparison.
>>11912460Mafex can't escape them, lmao
>>11912560>When is this coming out? They got previewed for the first time two days ago, we don't know.
