>>11907540His real name should be TJ Bang, not Sam LaQuale.
There was a new Super7 interview>There's a third army builder 3-pack coming to BigBadToyStore some time soon.>There's another comic-pack coming, but it's not a figure based off issue #3. It's a later issue and the figure is a deeper cut it sounds like.>The pack-in comics will start having more unique content like the first issue to encourage people to collect the reprints.>There will be at least 3 comic-packs a year, likely based on how well they do.>Next year they'll put out tons of figures connected to the movie's 40th Anniversary. >There's another vehicle next year, and it's been described as a classic vehicle, but at the same time something that hasn't been made before. Unsure if that means a Sunbow version of a classic vehicle, such as the Hiss Tank, or if it's something movie related, because they did discuss the movie.>Wants to do all the winter outfits for the movie characters.>Ninja Force is an on-going Target exclusive line, that was originally going to be a Super7 website exclusive. However Target wanted even more store exclusives because Joe is selling so well, that they're doing both Ninja Force and Tiger Force/Python Patrol.>Ninja Force is sort of treated like TMNT where it's all about what if different characters had had ninja versions during the 90's.>The upcoming Snake Armor is an articulated figure and doesn't hold a figure inside. It's based off how in the cartoon they were used as robots. >There will be something new shown off for NYCC as part of Walmart's online event; likely a new Walmart exclusive.>Visionaries sold extremely well, however Hasbro made them put the line on hold, because there's a rights dispute on the license, perhaps because of all the shared universe stuff Hasbro's been doing. It sounds like it'll eventually be resolved, but no idea when.>They're also trying to make Inhumanoids, but there's a major license dispute with it, since Hasbro let the IP die.
>>11907866A few more things to add:>Kwinn and Raven are in the works in the line, it's just a matter of where to fit them in, because of how many different areas of the brand they're focusing on with limited character slots per wave.>Army builder 3-packs will also be based on a previous single carded released figure, so the next one would either have to be Comic-book B.A.T., Hydro Viper or Viper Gunner. This is to ensure that single carded collectors will not need to buy the 3-packs. So no Sunbow B.A.T. or Cobra Trooper until they have a single carded release.>Let slip that the Fatal Fluffy set originally contained a small Fluffy figure.
It's... beautiful
>>11907540How nice of them after cancelling fuckloads of pre-orders.
>>11907866>Wants to do all the winter outfits for the movie characters.Well Destro, Snake Eyes, and Scarlett are done, and we already know about Shipwreck and Baroness that they're ignoring because they don't want us pissed at them for releasing in fucking India months before the US.
>>11907970
>>11908258>>11908259>>11908260I don't get why they're fixated on that when there's a whole lot of regular figures that they still haven't done yet.
>>11907540already spent 109 bucks on some chinese one
>>11908280>when there's a whole lot of regular figures that they still haven't done yet. They specifically say in the interview when road-mapping the line that no two Joe fans want the same thing, so they're spreading things out a little in each wave. In past interviews they said they treated Reaction+ as a continuation of Reaction, so they weren't in a hurry to revisit core characters immediately during the first year, which is why it focused so hard on movie characters, because that's where Reaction left off. They said some people also want characters that were never produced, or ideas for cancelled figures from the vintage line, or comic-book versions, or core characters, or major characters in alternate outfits. Or brand new concepts like Ninja Force Destro. They said for example they're doing Kwinn and Raven, and the rest of Cold Slither, and they have to produce tie-ins with the 40th Anniversary of the Joe movie, so it only leaves so many character slots per wave to try and and make it appeal a little to everyone. The line's moving really quick, but I could stand to see a few more core versions of characters. We're only just now getting Shipwreck and Flint, but they're only overseas right now. >>11907970Brian Flynn said in the interview that he wants to have all the Cobra characters in their winter gear, like the Dreadnoks and Dr. Mindbender.
I picked up several GI Joe's at Collectibles Extravaganza this weekend. Here is a V9 CG.

At last, the real Cobra Commander
oh god, lol. they really should have sculpted new legs for this poor guy instead of reusing the wolf legs.
my alley viper is going through some pain right now please pray for him
>>11908402Well, the better Alley Viper is still whole, at least.
Some people already have the new wave in from China, yet there's very few good pics of the figures.
>>11908259If Super 7 was smart they'd make Movie Dial Tone and Main Frame
>>11908463I saw the new Ninja Force figures at Target yesterday. I was surprised to see them already, since I live in the midwest, and they only seemed to be trickling into the west coast last I knew.Though, I didn't pick either of them up, since the paint was kinda bad on both of them.
>>11908393I canceled my preorder when I saw how the dog looked
>>11908474How customizable are these fuckers? Can you unscrew and swap heads like old school Oring Joes?
>>11908487You can swap the heads with vintage for the most part. Early figures had swivel necks but now they’re mostly ball neck.
>>11908518Quick Kick with Street Fighter Ryu's legs.
>>11908463I'm so pissed that YoJoe.com is done since I can't see all of the new figures being made in an archived format.
>>11908578Well whoever owned the site sold it to a data-harvesting company, and they have the emails and other data to everyone who used to go there. So fuck them. They know they messed up.
>>11908407Kek, this. Jokes aside, easy fix. At least it wasn't a Ninja Force or Mortal Kombat figure.
>>11908390wake me when they recolor him in black and silver
To the anon asking about Valaverse The Black, he's getting a reissue and another 100 chase variant.
>>11909074Not sure if it'll only be available at the expo or just randomly with the online orders.
Mainframe #178 showed up at one of my local Ross stores today, they only had the one and it wasn't a neighborhood I am in regularly so I grabbed it. But given that Walmart had if for as little as $20 and a pal mentioned he had gotten a yellow tagged one in Denver for $10, I suspect more will show up. Was too tired then and am too lazy now to take a photo.Y'all know what Blaine looks like and what a Ross receipt looks like.
Has anyone's Lara from Amazon shipped yet? Mine still says tomorrow and I have a few other things also coming tomorrow too but they've been shipped already, Lara hasn't yet. She's been coming in and out of stock for pre order over the past few weeks so I don't think I should be that concerned. Should I?
>>11909346I don't think anyone's gotten one from Amazon yet, the ones showing up are from Pulse or found in Walmart stores. Hopefully they aren't prioritizing later orders and screwing over people that got it for the original cheaper price
Is Dio dead yet?
>>11909434LEGENDS NEVER DIE
This isn't quite GI Joe, but it does go with the O-ring line. And I think it's cool as shit.
Is it just me or do the shoulder joints on this guy look terrible? They look so obvious like he's a robot rather than a human.
>>11909539better articulation, engineering, paint apps and accessories. You have to have a trade off somewhere for that.
>>11909539Yeah it looks awful
>>11909539I can see what they're doing with trying to fix the problem with arms not being able to go down straight.
>>11909626so many other lines have fixed that problem without looking this bad though
>>11909658Hasbro hasn't. They're not even trying.
Ramen Toys General Lee 2.0 just went up. $270 for the car and all three figures is pretty good.
Emily (big girl from the early hasbro joe videos) was let go in hasbro's latest round of layoffs
>>11909539I just got one of their 1.5 wave figures and was honestly kind of surprised to find out it actually was supposed to be a robot. Didn't notice it in the pics and it wasn't until I saw the faceplate swapping gimmick. But after seeing the bot head, the arms and legs both jumped out at being mechanical. Still a cool figure with lots of motion. Feels way different from a Classified figure, but I don't know if it's a good or bad kind of different. I got their Bob on order, so hopefully he turns out just as nice as the first wave ones. Also, related to robots, I *finally* got my Arctic BAT pre-order into my PoL. Damn thing took literal years to actually get rerun, but I guess this is the year to rerelease an Arctic figure. Still sad the three pack Arctic Cobra figures are just straight repaints with no new/mixed parts to make them actually feel arctic equipped. Had they actually done something interesting with them I might not have cancelled my Arctic HISS pre-order. >>11909745Seems like her entire position was just excised, a lot of em were. I don't see the big move their doing as something that will work out in the long run for Hasbro, and the downsizing certainly isn't a good sign.
>>11909734And $50 shipping and no payment options
>>11909745i don't run a multibillion dollar company but I would think the half dozen people you put on livestreams should probably the last people you ever lay off as it makes people quickly recognize how badly things must be going for the rest of your company
>>11909793Looks like she was promoted out of her job. She hasn't been on a livestream in a while because she was given a higher position, and they probably axed it along with other middle management jobs that are easy to get rid of in a layoff.
>>11909745Good. That's what she gets for asking about pronouns.
>>11909745Hasbro on their way to be the SONY of the toy world. They've already stated they're pulling back on toys and trying to focus more on videogames and entertainment. At least they aren't stingy with licensing they IPs. Would be funny if Hasbro completely stops making GI Joe classified figures and license it to BOSS Fight or some other indy toy maker. They alreay letting S7 do the o-rings and JoyToy the 1/18 surper articulated GI Joes.
>>11909946>JoyToy the 1/18 surper articulated GI Joesdon't you mean Hiya or did Hiya lose the license? That's really shit if Hasbro really cockblocked Hiya from releasing GI Joes in North America for 3 years and suddenly allowed another company to do that, especially since Hiya's figures are so great.
Does anyone make a cock holding hand for the figures. You know to the barrels without fucking up the grip ones. I know legends females always have one.
>>11909446This is cool as shit. I might have to give it to Super7. They're doing good work.
>>11909974Hiya fucked Hiya since they sat on like five/six figures while raking in preorder money for about three years while pathetically begging to let the do a global release instead of sticking to the terms of their contract. Hasbro should have voided the deal on the spot
>>11910040>hiya never should have tried to get the north american licensefuck you, retard. This is why their figures ended up being fucking $30-40 (before shipping) instead of $20.And fuck Hasbro for being too afraid of their Classified sales being even lower if they allowed Hiya to release their 1:18 GI Joe line to be sold in the only market place that matters.
>>11909346Kek mine just got "do you still want this order?" 'd. Not sure whats going on. Green Goblin delayed too.
>>11910044And why should people fucking sit with nothing while they waste their money on hookers and blow than delivering the figured people already fucking bought at import price, when they damn well knew they'd never be able to sell them at domestic retail? Those faggots should have had the license revoked then and there as they knew the god damn terms of the deal, knew that they were still going to reach America anyway as import, but decided to fuck the customer over with no lube stealing their cash while not delivering the fucking figures. Scam artists all around and should have had their company wholesale nuked from orbit destroyed by Hasbro for breach of contract to send a lesson to not scam GI Joe fans like they did
>>11910101This. >>11910044 is just a poor fag not realizing that he was going to get wallet raped anyway as far as honestly thinking this company full of grifters was going to charge $10 or less for these shitty inferior bootleg figures
At the least we can see what direction the DIRE line will eventually lead to. With them repurposing the Rattler gunner as "Dire Hawk," I suspect Rattler Baroness will be repurposed for the line too.
>>11910162From the last topic
>>11909745was/were
>>11910062Mine did too. I think it'll be fine, just delayed.
>>11909946Getting into games now is stupid. It costs up to $300 million and takes up to a decade to make a single game. They should have taken it more seriously in the late 90s when a game studio could produce a premium title yearly and relatively cheaply.
>>11909745Good. She shouldn't have been the brand manager for something she clearly wasn't a big fan of. Maybe with her, Tony, and the other guy out of the way, they'll start being more responsive to what fans want to give them our money for instead of continuing the "we do what we want and we'll maybe eventually get something you like out."We're in year 7 of the line, and the year's catalog is decided. No Firebat, polar battle bear, moccasin, and other stuff that should have been no-brainers. All we can hope is that year 8 rewards the patience.
>>11910101>And why should people fucking sit with nothing while they waste their money on hookers and blowthis is exactly why I call you a RETARD.Hiya didn't waste anyone's money, because they completed everyone's orders... except for retailers in north america, because these retailers who went through official distributors overseas were cockblocked by Hasbro. Almost every store orders through distributors, because only giants like Target and Walmart have the capacity to order directly from toy makers and only if toy makers are large enough to have distribution capacities, which Hiya doesn't have. You keep talking about "importing" but you're fucking clueless about how that works, since most retailers just deal with official distributors. Retailers don't just order shit as easily as retards like you do from Amazon or Walmart, but they sign contracts with distributors and they need to make MINIMUM orders. Since Hasbro was cockblocking reputable distributors from sending Hiya figures to North America, that means north american stores would need to order shit shady distributors that they didn't have accounts with and then they'd need to order OTHER shit to reach minimum requirements, despite undoubtedly getting better prices for imports from distributors who don't have Hasbro cockblocking them.Yes, local (read: north american stores) stores import shit, so i rarely deal with shitty oversea shipping So Hiya still made their toys, but since GI Joe isn't popular outside of North America, FEWER TOYS WERE MADE, and i don't mean they only made 20k figures. i mean the amount of characters that could be made into toys was diminished from weak demand. So they COULD have released a figure every single month if they hadn't been cockblocked by Hasbro>b-b-but i didn't get my toys immediately when they went up for preorderfuck you, retard. fucking zoomer, with no attention span and your need for immediate gratification. literal behavior of retards.
>>11910334>that pictureIf you pay cheap shipping or get free shipping from China, then that's what you get, bro. Chang's not gonna knock himself out without you covering the cost for it.
>>11910233fun fact: i used to email the president of Hasbro Interactive in the late 90s.Hasbro used to make shittyass video games, mostly board and puzzle games, and i used to coordinate video game related stuff for an internet community that later started doing shit for TV.So Hasbro used to be balls deep with video games until the mid-00s. Since they made mostly shovelware, this is likely why they also eventually stopped making games, because people eventually stopped buying their shit.
>>11910340I remember their games, especially the shitty arcade-type GI Joe shit. And they did that right in the middle of MGS, Syphon Filter, Splinter Cell, and others when paramilitary games were peak popularity. It was mind-blowing levels of clusterfuck wasted opportunities. Now it's expensive in terms of both time and money.
>>11910335>free>from overseasSorry, but i've never shopped at alibaba or whatever cheapass places desperate poorfags use. Not my photo, btw.And sometimes you're not even given a choice in shipping, because the shop does so little in overseas shipping or maybe too lazy to do better.I once had a fucking Russian shop ship a large toy in a fucking plastic bag and the only padding was the open window cardboard packaging. A fucking miracle the toy was undamaged once it go to me a month later.Seriously, i'd rather pay a couple bucks extra to buy from a local importer than deal with overseas shipping and all the crappy extra steps. In the case of Hiya, I wish they had official north American distribution, so i could get prices that are 50-75% cheaper, free shipping, and a wider selection of figures, but nooooope, fucking Hasbro is afraid that people would choose the superior 1:18 line over their already poor selling Classified 1:12 line
>No fatties no trannies no beardos no weirdos, no wimps.
>>11910430this beardo getting fired too?
Pretty cool week for me, I had to stop collecting but I do still buy the occasional figure and this week I got Airtight and the Major Bludd re release. I had every intention on getting the hooded Commander but I sat and thought about it and just said I really do not want a throne that badly since I don't really have any joes on display and $70 is a lot of money for a true blue poor fag. So I cancelled the pre order and got Airtight and Bludd for under $55, now I've at least got the core of Cobra leadership. Idk if you guys talk about the TMNT/gi Joe cross over figures but I think they are nice figures, Shredder is kinda meh but Slash and Krang are cool. I think Krang should've been a bit bigger and had a briefcase but still, decent crossover figures.
>>11908283VF?
>>11908368I loved this series. Idk if it's a figure you want for your collection but Scalpel was a really cool figure.
>>11910434No way. Duke is too good of a door kicker to get rid of.
>>11908578I just checked 3djoes and they don't cover classified either. Lame
>>11910439I do not know what that means
>>11910545that the mcfarlane one?
got the retro carded Valk in today and man it makes me want to get another to keep this one in its card it looks so good.
>>11910545Nice.

>>11910430Nice Duke Closet-Anon
>>11910915Who's Closet Anon? I think you have me confused with someone else. I was once referred to as neca display anon in the Marvel threads because I have the NECA street diorama.
>>11911050that's kinda sad if the street diorama is now rare on /toy/ if you're being confused with that one guy.The state of /toy/ just being third worlders trolling that even the GI Joe threads are that way.
>>11910040I can't believe we can get 20 dollar kenner looking GI Joe toys from ReAction (now they look better), but we cant get local Hiya figures. Hasbro are shitheads and hopefully they do license out their stuff now.
She's peak
Well, hopefully grid iron is working on an upgrade for the front. This still looks like shit in real life.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRH6IF2aaDY
Wave 2 of Super7’s 250th Joes has leaked.
>>11911795>Thrasher will come at the end of next yearI would have though he'd come out earlier than that so you'd have him at the same time as the thunder machine.
