Alright kids, the grown ups are in the room now. Also Dino General I guess...
>>11909335Worst OP I've ever seen of any thread on this board in years.
>>11909340Its looks HC size too
>>11909335Rexy having a zombie mouth will forever fuck with me now. I can't unsee it. Imagine how fucked her teeth likely are? Just exploded to the elements and likely getting caught in foliage all the time. She would have fucked up Chris Chan teeth and likely terrible tooth pain. Makes my mouth hurt just looking at her.
>>11909341I'm pretty sure the big one is 1/35 scale, the 2 middle ones are 1/64 and the rest are minis
I hope the 1/35 scale rex sells well because i would love to see a greater variety of species. Nanmu's are great bu they only make theropods (and crocodiles)
>>11909345AGREED. We need more herrbivores. Part of what made the kenner line fun was the mixture of different ecomorphs. Now its all about muh carnosaurs because $$$$
>>11909345>>11909347nanmu just announced a triceratops
>>11909342>Do you realize- do you realize something? They could drop an asteroid on us and kill us!
>>11909389Really?
>>11909342Doggosuarus Rexy
>>11909335The HC Indominus is so embarrassing. The Tyrannosaurus was not great, but it had the excuses of being such an early figure in the line. The Indominus though is just fucking absurd with how bad it it. Like how did we go from the Giga and Spino to this?>>11909345>>11909455It's paleo accurate rather than being the JP trike. I think they might basically be done with doing unlicensed JP figures now that Blokee's has the license and is selling figures in the same scale as them. The Chinese government turns a blind eye to copyright stuff until the person complaining is a larger Chinese company so now that Blokees has the official Nanmu may stick to doing paleo accurate figures.
>>11909484They need big kissable lips so their big banana teeth dont dry out and become brittle. Imagine having a crazy bite force thats so powerful it would immediately dust your brittle dry teeth into dust when you tried using them? You can only imagine the tooth pain.
>>11910203Not exactly related but between dinosaurs being the ancestors of modern birds (if memory serves) and the fact that a Tyrannosaurus' main prey would likely be equally huge, I always liked the idea of a T-Rex behaving like a giant crow around humans; we're far too small to register as worthwhile prey, and with how intelligent some birds (corvids especially) are, I can imagine it being more fascinated than appetized by humans. Plus the idea of one of the largest land predators in history acting like a big friendly birb with people is just funny and so I choose to believe it would be so.
>>11909735What the fuck happened to the Indominus? the giga and spino were great, why couldn't the indom be on that same level of quality?
>>11909735>I think they might basically be done with doing unlicensed JP figuresI hope this doesn't get in the way of a possible Disney Carnotaurus...
>>11910342Part of me thinks it was made before either the Spino or the Giga because it's got a bunch of the proportion issues of the Tyrannosaurus, but the lack of a glass eye, the stupid meat chunk, and swappable parts are all newer stuff added to the line to try to artificially justify the price increase, so I really have no idea why the quality of this recent wave collapsed so totally. >>11910343That'd be awesome. Right now, we know they Yangchuanosaurus, Nile Crocodile, Tyrannosaurus, and Triceratops in the works after their current Raptors and JP Tyrannosaurs, but it'd be great if they did a Disney Carnotaurus. With how massively oversized the Disney Carno is a 1/35 figure of it would still end up being about the same size as the BOTM 1/18 Carno.
Anyone here got the Hammond Indominus Rex? How is it as a dino toy?
>>11910471I think it's pretty good as a toy. It's just that it is a massive quality downgrade when compared to previous figures
Painting the claws on this guy made a world of difference.
>>11910648He cute
>>11910648>>11910720Despite hating them in the movie, i quite enjoy the HC Mutadon because i can pretend it is a Skull Island creature
Would you believe that this was an azhdarchid toy if someone told you?
>>11910926what
>>11910926>pull its tail to make it writhe in anguish trying to get away Weird play feature
>>11911217
>>11910926After what they did to Daspletosaurus, I've jumped on board with the theory that they're just using AI to design new toys.
