Here's yet another re-release of the 20th anniversary pets, going on for almost 10 years instead of restocking the X line or trying new stuff like Tamagotchi.

I don't understand how Bandai has 2 toy lines that are very similar, yet handled so differently.

Fighting for my life trying to get a MC Uni. In the Gulf for a few months and found one online at one of the Dubai Virgins but they're taking forever to process it and I'm starting to think they didn't actually have one.

Picked up a Digimon Mini V2, vintage angelgotchi and a white prism uni (was mostly going for the Uni but wanted to justify shipping by hitting customs threshold lol) via proxy to ship around December-ish.

If there's a new wave coming out I still think there's value in getting more than one because of the entirely different rosters. Paradises go on sale fairly frequently, so if you're not in a rush I'd just wait for a good deal.

If you have a UART, iirc TamaHome is working on a patch that will unlock all the biomes and secret characters available on a device. I know Jade specifically does have all the data for Sky on it (it's just locked) and they're working on fixing that, so I'd prioritize that one and maybe a shell/faceplate to customize it with if you're not a fan of how it looks.

I wish they'd rerelease the Pendulum 20ths with more colors already. Those would sell like hotcakes considering how rare they are. Whether we'd get them I dunno considering the fuckup of the X2s and X3 english never ever (Please....). I guess Digimon just doesn't have as strong a vpet fanbase compared to Tamas. I just ordered a Paradise, I was told to get one of the two latter models, Orange Tropics or White Glacier, White Glacier looked better to me

Good, I know the6 wanted to feel more lime actual pets but the pause button is needed for some things, especially if your gonna be gone for while, jus taking out the batteries feels like a pain due to the screw

Don't worry too much about the Uni. It's fine, but not worth the price and the Paradise has way more features and games to play. The Uni only really has 1 decent game.

you can't raise a pet, but you basically collect characters with food and can put them out in your garden to watch them fuck with the items like an actual paradise. it's basically all the paradise functions minus the actual vpet, with the added bonus of giving your paradises new items. apparently you can also get the new characters onto your paradises, though. you're able to make food you can send over that will then evolve your paradise tama into whatever character you're able to synthesize in the lab

but it does seem like they've expanded on the gameplay a bit, with you raising tamas on multiple planets rather than multiple biomes of the same planet. In practice that might not be a meaningful difference in gameplay?
