Thoughts on capes? The one good thing about the star wars ccbs is they had a lot of cheap clothing and capes. These are lifted from the blind guy and captain phasma I had scraps of.

Cool to try and make custom ones, as long as it doesn’t cover up the whole body it’s fine by me, may be cook to make one that covers up one side and has the hand go through it though. Just a shame about all the official ones prices. Also a shame about all the aftermarket prices for those damn chains being exorbitant

Honestly?
For the past week I've been imagining what a constraction line designed to incorporate elements Bionicle couldn't do because of its established world building and apparel was one of them
I don't have drawings or anything but I basically pictured something more 2000's goth and Victorian-era in mind
I know Kualus has a scarf but that's still a fan design and I was imagining that kind of look being more standard for the hypothetical theme in my head

I feel like Gen 2 benefits most from the star wars capes/robes (and the guns too) because the mostly flat texture and similar body structure to the star wars ccbs figures. I did not know that chains were getting expensive, I gave most of mine away as scrap lego. With all the clear parts and bright colors I do think the capes help Gen 2 from looking looking too frutiger aero aesthetic.

Yeah those bionicle chains are super expensive, tread chains not as much but they are harder to use in a build
>>
Slowly building up an army sized amount of universal joints and other steering related shit, gotta figure out how to use them for bionicle besides big vehicle for toa
>>
So this is VERY SPECIFIC z-list LEGO?
And why, exactly, is it better than third Party KO Chinese blockLEGO?

what

If you have third-party balljoint-compatible construction figures that you would like to show off, you are more than welcome to do so, because ultimately this is more a constraction thread than strictly Bionicle. I for one love a good booty.
