Is it just me being ignorant or does it seem like there aren't many Napoleonic Wars toys?

It's the same reason we don't get a lot of western cowboy stuff either, it's fell out of the zeitgeist.

Or pirates. It had some return when the first two Pirates of then Caribean movies were published.

Confederate battle flags may or may not be included, depending on if the company has kowtowed to the whining of "concerned mothers".

I got these in a while ago and then forgot to share, here goes. This box is freaking awesome I have to say, their triceratops-headed mascot of sorts flanked by two squadmates for some serious business.

The fronts are also quite cool, though they stumble a bit for using inaccurate AI models instead of the actual poses, though they aren't radically different as in other cases I've seen online.

The backs reveal the true nature of these sets; they are the same modern US military poses that have previously been issued by the same company. Those earlier soldiers did not have molded stands but separate terrain-styled ones with pegs for fitting to their feet. These newer iterations retain that method but have modified the stands to be more traditional, providing sprues with five each of two different styles of stand.

An interesting way to pack the ten different armies. They sell sets of 100 for each individual colour as well but I elected to get the mix as I wanted to see if they would fit well with the other rainbow set I got previously from Amazon.

Was slightly disappointed that the colours are more subdued relative to the Amazon set, particularly with the significantly different blues. Oh well, ViiKONDO also offers a rainbow set of the Timmee Vietnam (2.0 version) soldiers, might get some to raise their numbers.

The soldiers by and large fit easily to their stands and you can mix and match to personal preference. The prone and kneeling soldiers don't need one so you'll have a couple spares.

It's a good army set overall, with lots of detail and great pose selection. They are a bit smaller than the army men average but many other modern army men sets out there are of similar stature. Much of what's on the market tends to be an anachronistic blend of 20th and 21st century warfighters, is nice to have a set that's firmly in the present day (though I do wonder if the prone machine-gunner is implied to have an archaic M60). The versatility of optional stands is a great feature for outdoor warfare when uneven terrain can be challenging and I like that these fit the soldiers better than the grey terrain piece ones of their forebears.

Kinda hope they make equivalent sets of their other armies in this style, notably their "guerilla forces" dudes.

Do you know if any of these sets ever used the actual Confederate flag instead of the Virginia battle flag?

Don't have one myself but BMC produces a Stars and Bars on a tall flagpole for some of its sets, might try and get one sometime. ToySoldierCo makes customs using the flag-bearer figure from this set but they don't come cheap, being hand-painted and all.
