When did it perceived Chinese companies make better toysIs it a CCP psyop?
i hate youtubers
>>11933688>When did it perceivedI hate ESLs so much. Giving them internet access was a mistake. Why come it be like this?
>>11933688They're making Ben 10. That's supposed to be this generation's TMNT/He-man and America's doing nothing with it
>>11933688Probably just in the last few years. I think it's because Chinese figures actually seem to be improving and making an effort to innovate while Japanese and American figures are mostly either stagnating or even regressing while their prices skyrocket. They also tend to make figures of IPs that barely have any official ones and a lot more OCs of sexy women, monsters, fantasy characters, sci-fi, etc. that other countries rarely do.
>>11933693You probably collect marvel legends or NECA lmao
its mostly just shilling.Flood the youtubers with free shit, make threads on /toy/, and it'll seem like it's popular. Joy Toy was similiarly pushed here on /toy/ that. Completely unknown until some shill started making threads bout some random nobody toyline that you could only find on alibaba and anytime a new product was made by Joytoy, that guy would push it.IT was generic sci fi trash in some scale nobody collected and nobody bought it but that guy.Joytoy only started getting popular here when they made 1:18 figures and people started buying it. And everyone complained about that shit breaking, but instead of fixing their plastics, Joytoy started giving out baggies full of extra joints.5 years later and Joytoy is basically a dead topic here on /toy/ becuse people got tired of shoddy products, yet the same shills keep advertising the toyline. Nobody really buys it anymore.I think it's the same way with other Chinese products here. Lots of shills pushing shit, but very few people actually buy it.
INarts are pretty good, I plan to get a few more.
>>11934079I just wish you would be slain.>>11934094And you too sbubby, both of you are the worst creatures.
>>11934094okay, what about the other brands? what brand is not being "shilled here?
>>11934094Absurd take. 95% of your post is harping on about a single company making figures in an entirely different scale than what this topic's about and trying to use that as the basis for all Chinese toys. Hot Toys and Storm Collectibles have been big names for years now. Snail Shells were the top selling action figures on Amiami for both existing and original characters last year. Companies like InArt, MessToys, Blokees, etc. are clearly getting more and more attention all over the place, not just on this dying board that's probably down to a few dozen regulars.
>>11934125there's a difference between fanboys ranting about their toys and some guy who's only here to push some brand without knowing what that toyline is even about. It becomes apparent on who buys what when people post their collections and very few people, if any, buy some obviously shilled products. So there's not a lot of natural discussion on shilled figures, just marketing for upcoming figures and once they're out, discusion dies. The exception is the lewd toys general, but that's where it made me more wary of how brittle other Chinese brands are.>>11934157Hot Toys and Storm Collectibles are Hong Kongian and basically anti-chinese. They've long established themselves in western countries and even have western toy prices. Whereas Chinese toys push Japanese prices despite being of inferior quality. And my example is just a single example, since it's one of the very first Chinese brands that were shilled here, which i have experience with.
The first few Blokees are heads were straight up made by a company employee and kept getting deleted. I’m sure many of the products are fine, but whenever I see more than positive comments on a figure, I assume it’s just a Blokees employee.
>>11934186>are headsThreads
>>11934186>>11934187Whenever I see blokkees in person I just cringe a bit from them being shilled here, stupid employees should have understood that anybody left posting here is the certain type of autistic that is actively repulsed by marketing instead of attracted to buy it, morons.
>>11934182>when people post their collectionsThere are other explanations for that. They maybe shitposters who may or may not own the figure. Or they own it at some point but now they dont. From my short experience of 3yrs collecting, people in this community tends to resell/trade their figures quickly for newer ones. There is also a possibility that they dont want any digital footprint or risk of getting doxxed specially how theres a chance you might be talking someone who is vindictive and mentally ill.>there's not a lot of natural discussion on shilled figuresFunny thing is you also kill discussion when you use that term. Just like all the meaningless words use by this site (cuck, chud, nazi, tranny, etc) branding everyone losses its meaning.Assuming that this are employees of the brand that are posting, at the end of the day the product itself will speak for its quality. If its good its good, if its bad then its bad. The only one killing this board are pretend sheriffs l who tells what people can and cant like.>>11934186>>11934187Proof? You should have this in your post before accusing something or you risk of being seen as a troll or someone insane like>>11934194
>>11934186True, it was nearly as overt as the Borderlands shilling back in the day.
>>11934186Lol, that was me who kept reporting them for shilling. Those fuckers deserved it. And because of them, I will never purchase a Blokees product nor will I ever believe that there are people that genuinely like them. The employees still come here, I got into it with one of them in the DC thread a few weeks ago when they tried to claim their Hush Batman was better than the Mafex.
>>11934211right... so everyone who posts TFs/MLs/NECAs/Figuarts/Figmas/etc aren't scared of trolls, but the people who are too scared to post their toys own Chinese products? That's quite absurd especially given how hard Chinese products are being pushed here. They have no problems acting like shills, but when it comes to posting their own toys, they're suddenly shy? ZUH?Am i talking to the head shill in Laos and your dialogue chart has no section on this? China should hire from a smarter country, like Hong Kong or the Philipines. Their westernized brains and culture actually teach them to come up with something that makes sense.

I'm no fan of the CCP or Winnie the Pooh but China has definitely improved massively compared to how they used to be. Snail Shell, Blokees, Inart, JoyToy, Hiya etc make some pretty nice figures. My big problem is that for 1/12 offerings at least, their scaling can be pretty wonky. It's very rare to find a Chinese 1/12 female figure shorter than 6" for example- I got the Blokees Rei and Asuka and they're HUEG for no very good reason. They seem to be much better with 1/18 scale for some reason, I guess because 1/18 lines rarely have small characters in them anyway. The Blokees Pokemon line is a lot of fun though. Hope they keep doing them.

It's very rare to find a Chinese 1/12 female figure shorter than 6" for example- I got the Blokees Rei and Asuka and they're HUEG for no very good reason. They're basically 1/11 like domestic figures that say they're 6 inch, but are actually 6.5", and some are even 1/10. But, yeah, the Evangelion Blokees were especially huge and curvier than the characters were. I remember people saying their Rei looked like a milf version.
