After 2 false starts, i finally had time to catalog nearly everything i got at SDCC this year. Putting everything out like this really makes me realize how much cool shit i forgot to buy, especially because i look at my older loot photos featuring cool shit from amazing artists.Surprisingly, i bought more toys this year than the past 4, despite a complete dearth of imports being sold at the con. And this is two years in a row where SDCC has more comic/art shit to buy and the decline of hollywood crap.I think the only thing I'm missing from my loot are some Marauder Gun Runner figures posing as some other toyline that may or may not have been uniquely made for SDCC. Not sure, since i can't find them. Plus some commissions i've already hung up.Anyone have something newer that they'd like to post?
>>11934058what is this gay comic book shit holy fuck where are the toys
>>11934059they're at the top.A Jim Lee creation McFarlane figure, proudly not-chinese EVA figures from a Hong Kong company, and a Star Trek mini. Also, a Mr Osomatsu keyring thing, if that counts.
>>11934059Singapore.
Based Jhonen Vasquez. Are you liking Witch Hat?
>>11934112i like the art more than i like the story, but it's interesting enough for me to keep buying it. The hardbacks are beautiful and i love the larger size.As for Squee, i had been looking for that trade for years, and i finally found it at Slave Labor Graphic's tini-tiny booth/table this year at SDCC. They used to have a full sized booth right next to Marvel until they bsicaly went out of business and they reappeared this year at the poorfag small press tables. So i was surprised they still have the rights for it.
>>11934062>>11934058I'm a long time /co person and even I would have cropped or reshoot this photo to highlight the toys. You could have then posted an imgur link to this.
Nothing recent, got this haul a while back for free from work.
>>11934147and the second haul some time after. Also, free from work.
>>11934145i used to do it seperately, but then i decided it's more fun (and easier) just to do everything at once. It's more nostalgic this way. I can look back and remember how shit was in 2019 or whatever years it took the photo in.Taking a picture does a lot of things at once.
>>11934058They made a Unicorn Overlord comic?
>>11934163it's an artbook, but it has a few pages that are comics in it too.
Some things I picked-up from a con last month.>>11934147>LBtW LinkI'm jealous, been trying to get him for a while now.
>>11934058No one cares about your four months old SDCC haul subby. Jesus. It's mostly comic shit anyway. Post this on /co/ if you want your shit taste criticized
>>11934147>>11934149How will you know when you have enough gokus? I see Dragon Ball fags with shelfs full of gokus and it always boggles me.
>>11934232You can never have enough Gokus. Just like you can never have enough Batmen and Spider-Men.
>>11934180What's that Shin Godzilla book?
>>11934300The theater program for the film, so it has a plot synopsis, interviews, behind the scenes information and advertisments for merch.
Went to a small local anime/manga con, it was mostly 3d prints and knock off lego figs, shite
>>11934353unfortunately that’s most of them these days, last one I went to didn’t even have the bootleg dvd booth with all the cool stuff that isn’t licensed in the US because I guess no one buys dvds anymore
Took the Supra to make me cave in the mattel brick stuff. Fun build so far. Now to get the nsx.
>>11934354>>11934353thankfully, SDCC hasn't become inundated with that shit. I think i saw two booths that had generic 3d shit. There were booths that had higher quality 3d printed resin minis and other custom stuff that is super specialized, like gun sights or figure heads, but they also sold normal toys too.So i think the cheapo generic 3d printed shit is harder t osell at expensive conventions.I go to smaller conventions, but even there the generic 3d printed shit isn't as bad as I've seen in youtube videos covering middle of nowhere conventions.>>11934354bootlegs still hAve their place at SDCC, usually concert, pilots, and other grails. There's a few VHSes being sold too.
