>>2875261As a guy who moved around and eventually abroad in my 20's, I'll say it depends. The U.S. is very hostile to young men atm. So I get why you'd wanna bail. Some guys that are on a good career track should probably stay. If you do land a career abroad I would try to get something that has skills you could transfer back. Some people end up marrying a girl overseas and staying there, and having a pretty good time with it. That said, your family, friends, and community will probably suffer in your absence. I get why a lot of young men simply would not care.
I understand that living in the US is a struggle for a single male, I totally get it. But how the fuck is moving to Dubai gonna help unless you're already rich? America is pretty bad to live in, unless you grow up there and have roots/ connections. Failing that, you have to move to some big city and try to live out your Friends/ Sex in the City fantasy. There are only a few places where that's actually doable, NY, Chicago, LA, SF.
