I want to live in an internet cafe in Tokyo.
>>2875506Then do it anon
I want better quality threads on /trv/.
>>2875506>I want to live how the most depressed and hopeless people in Japan liveWhy the fuck would you want that?
>>2875535Because of cool Asian movies about living on the edge in big metropolises, like Fallen Angels.
>>2875538That's hong kong, and some shitty 3rd world tier apartment. You need to look elsewhere for that level of cinema
>>2875506and so do all the other tourists, when I stayed at one it was full of them, and it was dirty and noisy. It was so bad i just said screw it and booked a toyoko inn at the last minute. I just hopped on a bus nearby and arrived at my comfy private room at like 8pm, it was epic.
>>2875535It's cheap and comfier than a hostel
>>2875535The manosphere has romanticized hardship. Comfort is for pussies, apparently.
1 smelly non asian and the whole experience is ruined
>>2875506This is just being homeless
>>2875506Fat foreigners wanting to larp as Asian is unironically pushing Japanese people out of cities and into suburbs just so they can get the fuck away from tourists.
>>2875551I’ve only ever stayed at big chain internet cafes like Kaikatsu CLUB, but I didn’t have any hygiene issues.
>>2875506You should rent a monthly apartment
>>2875506>being a loser : |>being a loser, Japan :0Being an otaku with a brain is suffering, your reputation gets tarnished by association with these delusional weebs that worships every negative aspect of Japanese society. You can like a country while being critical of it too.
Why yes, Japan IS photogenic as fuck

You know you can just get an Airbnb that's just as cheap as an internet cafe right? I stayed in Osaka for 2 months for 450 bucks. The owner also had a bike I could use, so I barely used public transportation. My whole 2 months was about $700. Between the Airbnb, transportation and groceries. This was the Airbnb I used. Although it looks like prices rose. It's 450 a month now. But that's still really good for a great locationhttps://www.airbnb.com/rooms/45539095?unique_share_id=b004cd06-7117-4728-aec7-4891f9453a20&viralityEntryPoint=1&s=76Although, since you even considered a Internet Cafe, you're probably romanticizing about the city life. you'd probably enjoy a dormitory or living with the host which is even cheaper.
I stayed in one for few days but not in Tokyo. Was after riding the Shimanami Kaido and getting a train to Kyushu in between chasing bush years ago, thanks for reminding me of my shit post here ... thought this image was lost.https://archive.4plebs.org/trv/thread/1488829/#1491287you can try live in one but you'll be miserable after a week
>>2879408You're a chump. Falling for an old-ass trick. Every city, no matter how mid, can look good at night if you spend enough money on a camera.
>>2879418You WISH that was a favela
>>2879529What city is it?>>2879542It kinda does look like a favela lol. It reminds me of similar places I've seen in Medellín and Cusco
>>2879548Nagasaki
>>2879549Is it true that in Nagasaki, they like bukkake?
>>2879725Not in my experiance.
>>2875506I recommend the capsule hotel attached to the sauna over an internet café. You can take a bath anytime, there’s a coin-operated laundry, and they provide robes, so you can stay clean. There’s also a restaurant where you can enjoy a drink, and you can relax in the reclining chairs.

why? i had to spent one night there and it was horrible. Sleeping, i mean. Being in there was okay enough.
Since the local internet cafes are located along the bypass in the suburbs, it’s difficult to use them as a place to stay without a rental car.
>>2883185desu the ones with no chair and just a mat on the floor are the best. the floors were softer than most of the beds at my hotels
>>2875506You're a decade too late. Internet cafes have been replaced with sleeping coffins.
>>2875535Because the retard probably saw it in one of his favorite tranime shows and he thinks real life is like that. Many such cases of retards finding out the hard way.
>>2884164>>2884638I learned about these in a popular decade old youtube video
>>2882778>I recommend the capsule hotel attached to the sauna over an internet caféChina would be the far better place for this24h Spas are really common and even smaller cities have multiple oneslikely also cheaper than Japanonly need to find one where you can order Meituan or elemewhich isn't that hardlikely will cost something like>50-200RMB/day ticket (~7-25€/day)>10€/day for food deliveryyou can go to fancier ones (like 30-60€/day)but they might restrict outside food more and are not that much better in terms of basic facilities, though more entertainment inside and "quieter"
>>2884638>tranimet. /pol/ tourist
Sleeping on the floor with a bunch of girls I don't know at a super sentō.If both the capsule rooms and the nap rooms are fully booked, you’ll have to stay the night for the price of admission alone.
>>2875506Can I suck your penis while you're sleeping ?
>>2885125This is just a super sento in Japan or a jimjibang in Korea
If you dynamic cyber-homeless care that much about having fast internet in Japan, just book the fastest verified Airbnb in Kyoto. 592 Mbps with a private cypress bath, and it's only $1,633 for 5 nights. Stop coping in internet cafes and live like a human.
>>2885920Only a begpacker would live in that cypress shithole.
If you guys want the ultimate budget life in Japan, just sleep at a 24-hour coin laundromat. They are literally everywhere, have perfect AC all year round, and usually have long benches you can lie down on. Best of all, it's 100% free. Stop wasting 2,500 yen on internet cafes and maximize your gains.
Most laundromats in Japan have public Wi-Fi that only costs around $2 a month.
>>2885928If you do that, people in Japan will treat you like a meiwaku gaijin.
How much money could I make per day sitting under an overpass bridge in Japan with a cardboard sign saying I was robbed and need cash to go home?Just outside of the auspices of police. You would think at least $500 per day.
>>2886038Since Japanese people are kind, if they see a foreign tourist in trouble after being mugged, they would immediately contact the police and ask them to come and protect you.And the police will contact your country's embassy right away.
>>2886040The writing would be in cursive English
>>2886038As soon as the Japanese police become aware of a robbery, they will launch an investigation and interview you to gather detailed information.
Super sentos are more relaxing than internet cafes
>>2885136what is a super sento? what is this?lazy japanese hotel where you pay to sleep on the floor? Why would they not even have rice paper mats? >>2885928in america coin laundromats are expensive af (4-5 dollars for small washer, 8-9 for large) tho dryers are more reasonably priced, the seating is always small too-closely spaced cheap plastic fixed chairs with high backs, and they never have AC on cuz they are cheapI usually just sit outside I had a little 14 year old mexican kid go past me on a scooterthen double back, and he came over and asked me if I had a lighter airbnb with laundry > having to use public laundromats
>>2888917>airbnb with laundry > having to use public laundromatsOr you can just not be a bitch and handwash
