What country/city in the Americas or Europe (Asia is too far away) should I travel to for a NYE holiday if getting laid is a priority? Already been to Berlin and Budapest, and I failed, but I think I have more confidence now.FYI I'm not talking about Red light shit, I mean real relations
>>2879935Is Gilgit-Baltistan really worth the hype? I like travel as comfy as possible so I'd probably rely on a private tour, so is anyone able to suggest on any agency? How many days are recommended to see the top sights? Anything else I should know before going?
>>2879961What do you look like? What's your game like?
>>288011926 White Slav with blonde hair, but I'm 5'8 or 9 so it cancels out. I'm overweight (though not obese), but I'm working out and should look much better by at least the end of summer.Idk how to describe my game. I'm a KV, but I can make small talk and hold a convo. Last trip I even unlocked the courage to approach a girl at the bar. I actually think I'm pretty good at 1 on 1 chats, but in a group setting I completely fall apart.
>>2880132With those looks if you have balls there's certain cities in USA/Canada you can do well in. But I think your balls are too small unfortunatelyIf you're willing to racemixx and spam approach any city in North America is viable for you
>>2880135>But I think your balls are too small unfortunatelyI don't wanna be labeled a creep so I have to be careful, but I have gotten better I think. Biggest problem is I can't make the transition from casual small talk to flirty talk >any city in North America is viable for youEven better than Europe with all its hostels and nightlife?
>>2880137>I don't wanna be labeled a creep so I have to be carefulLiterally doesn't matter bro. If they reject you they don't even know your name>Even better than Europe with all its hostels and nightlife? That stuff is fool's gold. I only approach during the day
>>2880138>I only approach during the dayWhere? How?

Any recommendations for me for Lithuania?
>>2880265Hill of crosses
>>2880290No way, I checked that out before you replied. The only other thing I've managed to investigate are the Cathedrals = Bueno. At least there's that
Is smoking in the street frowned upon in big cities in the United States?
>>2880835Yeah but who gives a shit. America is the place to go to be selfish. Fuck it I get mine
>>2880835Not really. While it's def less common today, I see smokers all the time, especially in the more hipster nightlife areas.
Is it cringe to wear a Hawaiian style shirt while on vacation in a non-tropical location? Like if I wear it to Paris or Istanbul or Tokyo. Will I look out of place? It's probably the closest thing to stylish clothes I have, but I feel I'll look out of place in a city, or immediately like a dumb tourist
>>2880851Are you fat?

Is Algeria a good place to travel? Other than Timgad, are there any sights worth checking out?
>>2879935Sooo... anybody do any travelling recently?
>>2880265Curonian spit in Klaipeda
>>2881939Looks a bit mundane but thanks. Are there many interesting things to experience in Vilnius?
Is Copenhagen worth visiting? My family is considering traveling there, very short-notice too. Just seems like a big, expensive European city kinda like Oslo (I didn't enjoy Oslo, but loved the rest of Norway)
>>2883098Ask yourself, why do you travel?
I'm trying to get my bags for a trip, but the limits for the small bag are too retarded. Are the chances of getting my shit stuck because of the measurements of my bag very big? My carry on is ok though
If an airbnb is misrepresented do you actually get a refund? I know they say thats their policy but I wondered if they use weasel words so that they don't actually have to pay. I see people write reviews that complain about misrepresentation and I don't exactly know if they're just stating that, or if they're really mad because they didn't get their money back.
>>2884319they might make you check it and rape you with fees>>2886402usecase for airtardnb?
>>2886413Monthly stays, no lease.
spur of the moment trip to the virgin islands. anyone been and have anything worthwhile seeing, or am i pretty much drinking by the beach for a few days?
>>2886414nah go local. can find weekly lease or month to month lease
>>2886402There was a guy who booked an Airbnb because it claimed to have air conditioning, but all it had was a pedestal fan. Airbnb told him to eat shit, because a fan is the same thing as an air conditioner to them.
>>2886402>If an airbnb is misrepresented do you actually get a refund? It depends how sever the misrepresentation is, if it's a small thing missing, probably no, if the pics are completely fake then yes. You also have to understand most people don't autisticly read every word of the listing to try to figure out how the host is trying to scam you without technically lying>>2886477sounds like fake outrage bait, the real scam is portable air conditioners or ones that just vent the heat into the closet, these are mostly euro innovationsinb4 corporate shill accusations as if hotels aren't just as bad with misleading pics/amenities

>>2886574I found my current place in malaysia from google maps. it's a room in a newly built mansion, kitchen and common areas are shared but no one moved in for the first two months. cost is 900 rm, or about $220 usd a month. owner agreed to 3 month lease. location is cheras in KLin china 3 month leases are standard. i found the place by going to a real estate agent with a friend. it was a room in a new expensive apartment complex, own kitchenette and bathroom. price was 900 rmb a month, or about $110 a month. location was city center in a smaller tier 2 cityin india i walked around and sent whatsapps to the numbers that said room for rent. had an apartment in city center in the capital for about $140 a month. in india leases are month to month, you tell them you want to live out the security deposit and then you leavein nyc i found it through craigslist. it was a 3 month that turned month to month after the initial 3 months. room with shared kitchen and bath was $800 in sunnyside queensso it varies by location and it definitely helps to at least be able to read the local language. there's no universal platform for everywhere. if you insist on platforms you will pay a premium. the foreigners I know in KL are all paying 2-3k a month vs my 900 for their accommodation, just because they used platforms instead of going direct
Euro guy planning an East Coast trip for about two weeks. So far got 3d/4n in NYC, 1d/1n in Philly, 4d/3n in DC. Then I have 5 "free" days to use up but spending more time in NYC is out of question due to the cost, and Boston is too far. Any advice on what I could do around DC?Should I use the bus or rent a car? Also taking recs for any places to stay in New York, though from the look of it cheapest places are the Jane, the Chelsea and the Local
Anyone have experience with "Chauffeur Drive only" rental cars? I booked a rental car through Avis for an upcoming trip to New Delhi and I only noticed afterwards that it said "Chauffeur Drive only or similar". I called Avis to clarify and the representative told me I can still drive the car myself. What's the deal?
>>2886704Add a day in Philly and throw in some time in Baltimore area
>>2886706you don't need a car for delhi. the metro is clean. everything else is filthy
>>2886706listen to this anon >>2886715 it's best to stay underground, the surface is too polluted to sustain life in delhi, the air quality was rated as "hazardous" when I was there
Completely new to digital nomading. So I just got a new job that allows me to WFH with a laptop. While I'm technically limited by needing to clock in at a specific times, it does technically give me the freedoms to move around within my relative time zone.My question is, will I face any problems if I try to work for my American company from another country? Like if I go over to Canada or the Caribbean to work from a hotel room, will I run into any problems regarding taxes, residency, working while not on work visa, etc?

How do you guys get data on your phone when youre traveling to Africa or something?
>>2889244depends on the country and how long. I usually buy a sim either at the airport or at the store. some people do esim, some do roaming
I was looking to travel for the first time but all these places on booking.com say that you need a credit card when checking in, I only have a debit card. What should I do? apartments with self check in?
>>2890215I've never used a credit card on booking.comI'm not even sure if it says "credit card" in the interface at any point but debit had always worked for me.Granted I travel on a poverty budget and pick my lodging accordingly but I've got literally hundreds of bookings on the platform and never once had the lack of a credit card be an issue.
>>2890222this is what I meant, not when paying on booking.com but when showing up to the hotel
>>2890215Get a creditcard dumdum. The only thing debit cards should be used for is atms
>>2890249can`t as a neet with no income and no credit
>>2890254yes you can. they autoapprove your first credit card
>>2890256I maxed out all loans and payment plans when I turned 18 lolno credit card for me
"Credit card" would be better called "charge card". Debit cards and bank cards are basically the same nowadays.
>>2890259No travel for you then idiot
>>2890287why?
>>2890293Because no vendor will trust a scammer like you
>>2890294but I can just go without a credit card
>>2890296No you cant
>>2890297why not
>>2890298Because no one wants to get scammed by you

Are there any good sites that ACTUALLY allow for flexible searches? Sometimes I just wanna travel somewhere, but I don't care for the date too much. I just want to find the cheapest flights in a month from three-four different airports that are all within a maximum 3 hours drive from my place. And I also don't care if I depart from one airport and arrive to a different one of these four airports...
>>2890562matrix ita is probably the most flexible, but also most complicated, and it only shows flights anyways, you can't book from it
>>2890565For some reason, this site loads forever when I search for something, but it never gives me the results.
I'm a burnt out yuropean. I want to go to some tropical island paradise for at least 6 months. Preferably some place with not a lot of tourists. Please suggest some places.
>>2890590Not a lot of options for 6 months. Mexico has it. Most countries are only 90 days
>>2890594If I'm willing to settle for max. 90 days, do you have any recommendations in that case?

thoughts on portugal: lisbon, porto, and/or algarve for beaches. what's lisbon like? all the youtube videos are people sitting around drinking coffee and eating food.
>>2891687Way way way too many Africans
>>2891727What's the right amount of Africans? Give me a number higher than zero, because otherwise you would've said "there are Africans" instead of "too many Africans."
how can i travel without being mistaken for an immigrant?

is prague worth it or it is too touristy and crowded? I just want a comfy euro vacation. also feel free to give me any cool things to do in western europe or germany.
>>2891847> I just want a comfy euro vacation. give me any cool things to do in western europe or germany.Avoid Germany and all western Europe it is NOT comfy, it is like a tinderbox waiting to explode, parks, public transit, every street lined with angry military age "refugees" looking at you with death stares. Plus they dont have A/C. Visit countries east of germany. They are all very comfy
>>2891859fuck off back to /pol/, incel. you never left your basement
>>2891847>is prague worth it or it is too touristy and crowded?both>I just want a comfy euro vacation. also feel free to give me any cool things to do in western europe or germanyskip the cities in germany, go to historic towns that weren't bombed
>>2891906>skip the cities in germany, go to historic towns that weren't bombedI did that in Germany but even the small towns are full of vicious migrants and look like the star wars bar scene, you can visit places like Aschafenburg and see the memorial where a migrant stabbed a bunch of young girls. They have similar memorials in most towns. The only town that wasn't full of criminals was rothenburg ob Der tauber
Going to the UK in August, I'll be spending a few days in Oxford. During the summer the University of Oxford rents out dorm rooms to travelers. You get to stay on campus, eat breakfast in the great hall, etc. It sounds cool, but it's a bit pricey and I'm worried it might just be a tourist trap. Anyone have any experience with this and can tell me if it's worth it?
>>2891845what if i'm not white
>>2891865all of 4chan is pol, maybe you're the one who should fuck off back to plebbit
>>2891727I'm guessing you mean in lisbon? what about porto or the algarve?
Stay safe in the UK mate
>>2891912idk about oxford in particular but stick to the whites, but avoid the chavs, and you'll be finethere's probably better deals elsewhere if you just want a b&b on a campus mate
>>2891906I have to be in the cities, at least in Stuttgart, Frankfurt, and Munich for a few days. I don't mind the big cities cause I do want to see some museums but I'd also like to get out of them and I don't mind going out of the way for anything neat. >>2891859I'm not going to Paris or Berlin.
Pasta here. I'm an autistic mech engineer and I'm having a hard time picking a destination for an upcoming vacation with my gf, who instead is an archeologist. Pls send help.
>>2892333The congo is always good
>>2892333>with my gf, who instead is an archeologistHow adventurous and traveled is the gf? If you want some easy sites without the hassle of Arab countries or India you could go to Angkor Wat in Cambodia or several sites in Turkey like Cappadocia or the Roman sites there
>>2892471>how adventurousImagine Lara Croft: she's the polar opposite. She's the scholar archivist type, not the hands in the dirt type.>CappadociaWould be cool, but we don't have passports, and it takes forever to get them, so we're confined to the Schengen area. After my post we were looking at Munich, lots of museums for us both there, but the flight would cost a grand total of €400, which is insane because I could just drive there and I'd spend half as much, so we're a bit on the fence.
>>2892476>Would be cool, but we don't have passports, and it takes forever to get them,Takes like 2 week max to get a passport anon. Mine arrived in 1. All done online.

>>2879935I just need to nomad and finish some work for a month or two, and I'm looking for somewhere calm to have as a home base for a little whileAny recs on where to go?I could go back to Chiang Mai but I've already been there twice (less than a month) in the last four months.I was thinking maybe Da Nang, or somewhere else in Vietnam. Open to anywhere really. I just want somewhere walkable, even if far away from everything, where I can go to the gym and walk around, preferably with some greenery rather than beach. kl is soulless but I could go there also
>>2894004india or west china
I cannot decide where to go on a vacation in early August. What's a nice place in EU?I want somewhere warm and next to sea/ocean.
>>2894148Albania or Bulgaria
>>2894148I'd go to the French Riviera
>>2894162Too many africans and other headchoppers

Anyone interested in visiting Appalachia?
>>2894148Barcelona or at least somewhere Barcelona-adjacent. I could go outside without a jacket in January, imagine how much warmer it would be in August.
