Greetings /trv/, I'll go to Central Europe next October/November for 35 days. I'll make a comfy trip in a region where I haven't been there for (mostly) 21 years. My route is

>Vienna - 2 days
>Ljubljiana + outskirts - 5 days
>Rijeka - 2 days
>Pula + Rovinj - 3 days
>Slovenian sea towns - 4 days
>Trieste + Udine - 3 days
>Maribor - 2 days
>Budapest - 4 days
>Bratislava - 4 days (with outskirts)
>Vienna - 3 days

As you can see, threre are some days still avaliable, and I don't know where I could go more. Zagreb was meh, I am not that found of Venice (even because I'm going alone) and I'm clueless on the Southern Austria cities. Do you have any suggestions?

>Central Europe
Doesn't exist
All those cities outside Austria are Eastern Europe

So you're just going home to visit relatives or what?

i was in vienna this spring during their heatwave. i was surprised how much of "beach" area that was so comfy to hangout. on the island only minimal migrants hiding in the bushes and they were more on the north side of the danubeisland

using your metro ticket, you can get the bus from heiligenstadt up to kahlenberg or leopoldsberg its still part of the transporation area. for a great view of the city.
from kahlenberg walked down the hills through the wineries was very comfy

i had thought of going on a day trip to melk abbey but didnt try it out

ive not been to udine but when looking at italy i always thought cividale di friuli (nice old town by an alpine river) and palmanova (a town built out of a bastion fort) might be cool to see if i was in the area.

San Daniele - the 2nd prosciutto after parma is there

They got a town called Fagagna

4 days is too long in Bratislava. Go to a Gyor for a day. Maybe add some days to Croatia.

Why rijeka for two days?
There's nothing of interest in rijeka for a tourist, it's a small ugly industrial city.

Padova is nice and close enough to your route

I would halve your days in Bratislava and split them between Budapest and Vienna. you could also go for a daytrip to Szentendre and spend a night in Győr on your way to Vienna, it's a lovely Baroque city on the banks of the Rába and Danube rivers

skip maribor, it's boring and ugly
brno is surprisingly nice

Why the fuck would you go to a bunch of small irrelevant cities that have nothing but Thai and Nepali service industry workers and overpriced pizza cuts?
