Looking to spend a week at some Caribbean island next month with the wife. We wanted a really nice beach area with very little crowds and really want to avoid super packed tourist areas.

Is Curacao a good choice? I was thinking about it but a buddy from work who went their said it kinda sucks because its where a lot of ghetto people go so they kind of ruin it.

OP here. Just wanted to clarify that I am actually gay. My wife is a dude he just spends most of the time dressed as shimakaze. Any suggestions need to be LGBT friendly. Thanks
