Hi me and some guys are on a trip right now and we wil be be spending tonight and tomorrow kald a day in krakow. But i am struggling to find places to visit. Except for the salt mine nothing really seems unique about the place. So do any of you have any recommendations, any great bars or museums or just great views or whatever.
Wavel castle is nice. Schindler's museum as long as you realize it's actually about what israel is doing to palestinians now.
>Pinball museum>Cosmic games pub>Wolf Pit tavern (if you like Witcher)
>>2886514Inside the castle or do you just mean it looks good?>>2886515Thanks that pinball thing actually seems pretty fun
Czartoryski museum - stare at the davinci painting, lot of cool statues too.
The salt mine is pretty interesting, the tour is a little long, about 2 hours, but there's some cool shit they've carved out down there. It's a great rainy day activity because you're underground. Only takes about 20 mins to get there on the train from central Krakow. Wielizcka itself is a nice little small town that's good for a wander if you're into that sort of thing as well. Not a whole lot to do but you'll be able to find a cafe or a lunch place after the mines.>great barsKazimierz area, it's a little hipstery, but it's less of a trap than the central square. Lots of interesting little bars and lots of places to get food. Not too far a walk from the central area either. Grab yourself a Zapiekanka (a sort of pizza baguette) and be amazed when you can't finish it. >museums or great viewsThe castle, you can walk up there for free to check out the views looking over the Vistula. Museum costs money to get into. But if you're there you should also go check out the Dragon. It breathes fire every few minutes, pretty cool.Enjoy, it's a fun city.

For food: pierogi, zurek. The touristy places at the central square are fine, not even that expensive. I found this really nice little pierogi place called Zielony Kredens on one of the side streets.
>>2886528Yeah I was definitely planning on trying zurek, I've had it once from a supermarket jar but I would like to try the real thing as well
>>2886528Does it really make sense to dine out for pierogi when you can get them in a grocery market and cook them yourself? Add some herbal butter, fry them up and enjoy.
