I have 10 days max in India I want to do 3 in Varanasi, where else can I go for maximum culture shockBTW I don't mean "Big hectic city" because I will have just been in Bangladesh for two weeks so that alone isn't enough. I want spiritual shock but preferably also hectic

>>2887356So are you flying from Dhaka to Varanasi, or taking ground transport? There are plenty of cities to choose from in that area which will offer the ultimate Indian experience. Patna, Bihar would be a good stopping point between the two cities if you are traveling overland. It looks like the rat maze alleys of the old city are still intact, which is I think what you want to delve into. Not a generic jeetstreet full of traffic, it ruins the spiritual feeling of the place.
