share your toyoko inn stories anons. I'm at a toyoko inn right now , this is the second time i've used this hotel chain as the last minute resort due to an emergency on my trip. The current place i was staying is having water problems so i had to come here today. The first time i stayed at a Toyoko inn was in Saitama thinking i would be cool staying overnight at an internet cafe. nope, it was noisy, smelly and dirty so i just said fuck it and booked that toyoko inn room since it was the nearest one and they also had a discount that would still let me book late at night, they also have free breakfast for the price so why the fuck not. It was already like 9pm and I somehow found a bus that would take me right there. It was pitch black outside when i got on the bus. when i got off the bus i couldn't even find it even if it was supposed to be close by and I wandered the streets for about an hour until i saw the bright Toyoko Inn sign in the distance which I knew was the my place to stay., When I checked in,it was such a relief. It seemed like they already knew i was coming. the next morning i pretty much had the best breakfast buffet.
Their breakfasts are shit and overcrowded
