What is living in the SLC-Odgen-Provo metro like as a Christian? I want to move somewhere with an arid mountain climate that is mainly conservative and the surrounding cities all seem to fit the bill but I'm not Mormon. I don't drink or do drugs so the tight laws around that don't bother me. Would it be hard to make friends or find a wife if I'm just a Christian? The areas I've been looking at are Provo, Orem, Levi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Layton and Ogden. Pretty much anywhere outside of SLC proper.

Those people are miserable trash.
>>2890044all christians are insane, religion is monkeys lying out loud to keep gays out of the herd

You will learn that the hard way if you try to make friends with them. Ogden kind of sucks and it's too far away from everything. Whatever kind of Christian you are, you will probably find your church in Salt Lake county. The further you move from this county, the more Mormon and less comfortable you will be. The only way you will know is if you do your own recon and actually try living there for a while. You'll soon find out which places fit you best. Draper, for example, on the border of Utah county, is known for blondes with plastic surgery. Anything west of 15 is less desirable because of crime, but slightly more affordable. Closer to the Wasatch mountains is more expensive. It's getting more crowded and expensive to live in SLC every year. Not too bad if you are single but hard to get into the housing market if you want an actual house. Everything being built now is high density housing. Get in before the 2034 Olympics and cash out with the increased demand.
