I'm a 28-year-old single British guy. Despite having substantial savings and being able to afford to fly anywhere in the world, I just don't, and I haven't travelled overseas other than for work at all since before lockdowns. The main reason is that I'm single, and I really don't see the point in wasting money just to be alone, and probably feel even more alone seeing couples everywhere. Has anyone else been in the same situation?
>>
>>2890426
yes. just make single serving friends, hit on women, go where I want and see what I want at what time I want. Travelling alone is the best.
>>
come to america and suck me off (im male)
>>
>>2890429
op here how hung are you? I can probably handle whatever you're packing, I sucked off a 9 inch BBC once in London
>>
>>2890431
That's pretty hot but he said he's single so probably white. 5 inches at most.
>>
>>2890431
7 inches, cut sadly due to ameribullshit
I want to travel and explore but um would be nice to have someone good at blowies too

This is the gayest post I’ve ever seen on this board. You’re terrified to travel because you’ve been convinced by normie media that it’s not worthwhile unless you have a le heckin’ “partner”. I’ve traveled solo and I’ve traveled with friends/girlfriends, and literally all the other stuff doesn’t even come close to how great it is to travel alone.
When you travel with other people, you tend not to meet as many new people or have as many spontaneous experiences. You’re more focused on the person you’re with, and spontaneity subsumes itself to following whatever the plan or the “vibe” of the group is. You can enjoy couples travel when you’re old and retired, but if you’re single and have money and are deferring traveling because you think bringing a sex partner along will make it better, you’re terminally retarded.

>another old solo white guy
Can you losers just stay home please? You're not some great adventurer you just look pathetic and lonely.
>>
Traveling alone:
>15-17
Prime time to solo weekend out with the lads down in portugal or amsterdamn on a cheap ryanair flight
>18-20
Acceptable though most likely want to have a woman, you're going to live well but you're now able to be charged as an adult so watch out
>21-24
Last of the summers wine, you're going to need to start settling down, men start balding here, you might be able to squeeze in Thailand before looking like a bumbling idiot
>25+
No hope unless traveling for work you'll look like a mutt or divorced dad, creep people out, good luck getting service at a restaurant as a single persons
>>
>>2890460
nah if you're over 19 it's gonna look creepy. in your 20s and alone and male? no bueno.

27-yo britanon here - agree with you completely after having to solo travel for a while now. I've never travelled with existing friends and I've never had a gf. Though I have done group tours / packaged holidays to Australia and Japan, in my opinion those are the best ways to experience countries because you can meet people to do stuff back home with or continue travelling with if they're going places.

That said, it depends really on how much you actually want to see a place or do an activity. If there is no feasible way to organise a trip with your friends but you still want to do something then yeah, sometimes solo is your only real option, it'll still feel somewhat lonely although you can still meet people at random, depends where you are.

27-28 is still fine for hostels - use Hostelworld and use the social features once you've booked into one.

you're a grade A bitch. post mantits with timestamps
>>
>>2890426
yeah i travel alone all the time. its pretty shit, and people look at you weird. anyone who says travelling alone is is just coping because they have no friends. travelling is always better with friends or a gf, you have people to share your experiences with.

What a bunch of scared losers afraid to live life because some nobody might judge
>>
>>2890516
>What a bunch of scared losers afraid to live life because some nobody might judge
ikr. they're even scared of random brown people who live thousands of miles away from their home countries who they can choose to never see again if things go south. shit's weird
>>
Anon, you need to change your thinking, travelling alone is fine but be sure to incorporate perusing your interests that will feed your soul, don't be normie eat sleep repeat type of person. Be grateful that you can spend the money on doing what's meaningful to you rather than having to accommodate your partners interests and level of adventurousness.

>t. 40 yr old man with a mrs who still travels solo

You’re fucking BITCH MADE. The greatest moments of my life have come through solo travel.

desu traveling with people is more about the relationships with them than the destinations themselves, you'll actually take in a lot more when you're alone. you should probably try it once, it's mentally freeing to be able to do something alone.
honestly don't travel expensive though, you kinda want to be uncomfortable, do hostels etc
>>
Finding someone in America who wants to travel to another country for anything other than getting drunk on a resort is nearly impossible, so I'm doing a solo trip this year and I'm pretty excited. I'm 29 btw.
>>
>>2890426
You're a retard. Solo traveling is the best. Go to Las Vegas and have sex.
>>
>>2890460
this hasn't been adjusted in awhile now. In 2026 need to move all the ranges down by at least 2 years. if you are older than 19.5 it's time to look into outings with the local retirement homes.
>>
>>2890426
It's worth it but you have to do things a certain way.

I mainly plan trips around low-to-no skill, solitary activities like hiking, snorkeling, road trips, sight seeing (safaris, museums, ruins, etc).

Eating in for breakfast or lunch is not that weird but eating by yourself at a fancy sit down restaurant for dinner is obviously weird as shit (despite how loud the autists on 4chan insist it isn't), so for dinner, opt for places that have bar seating, or just order food to your airbnb and pay up for a place with a view so you don't feel like a loser. I hate street food but that's also an option.

Clubbing/partying solo requires lots of alcohol which at my age (32) I just can't handle, so I don't bother anymore, but if you can hold your liquor, then go for it.

I have found that locals who live in touristy cities (Paris, NYC) have zero interest in hooking up with tourists, but if you go to some bumfuck flyover town then they will be much more accommodative. The way to meet them is the same anywhere: dating apps. Which brings me to my last piece of advice:

Invest in some basic tri-pods (1 standing tripod, and 1 mini flex grip) and get some good photos of yourself for dating apps. If you are too high inhib to take photos in public then just pay up for the 5 star hotel/airbnb with a balcony and get the pic at your lodging.

Pic rel is where I'm staying in France in 1 month. It's $500+ a night, but guess how many nights I'm staying: 1. Just so I can get THE pic, and then fuck off.
>>
>>2890690
low iq post. dating apps suck but can use ai to make pictures. long term stay > short term stay. you could have stayed in paris for a month if you rented a shared room for that price. more time to do shit and get girls. whatever your budget is go
minimalist and stretch it out
>>
>>2890690
>how many nights I'm staying: 1. Just so I can get THE pic
extremely cringe and woman-coded behavior. Imagine squandering money like this to win the approval of others and portray a fake version of yourself to the world.
>>
>>2890426
Males who lack self-confidence generally don't have an enjoyable time travelling solo.
>>
If you're gay travelling solo is the easiest shit ever. Just hangout with hookups.
>>
>>2890515
They look at you weird because you're off-putting in some way, not because you're by yourself. You really never see any men out in public by themselves? What kind of weird place do you live in?
>>
>>2890736
>use ai to make pictures
>>2890748
>imagine portraying a fake version of yourself to the world

The duality of chuds.
>>
>>2890757
it would be nice to make friends with gay guys without sex as an expectation
>>
>>2890426
Airplanes do not need more passengers, that's for damn sure. They're already crammed in tight enough.
>seeing couples everywhere
Why would you go to a quiet honeymooner destination if you're a single guy? Makes no sense at all. Go someplace drunk and rowdy, like your kind always do.
>>2890515
Yeah, if you're a curious autist lurking around a bunch of bars, never drinking, never talking, only staring at people, people are going to look at you weird and ostracize you. Only the scumbags will try to get you drunk so they can take advantage of you. That has been my experience in the bars and drinking matter. These days I have a bottle of beer at a quiet local restaurant or shop. No alcohol-based socializing for me.

Facing difficulties are what builds self-confidence.
>>2890846
Well yeah, if you chase puss as a solitary man of low status, you're always going to start off as a beta lurking on the fringes. Maybe now you're figuring out why some of us refuse to play the game.
>>
>>2890877
>why some of us refuse to play the game.
Because you're an obedient beta neuter.
