I receive 4k month from VA disability. I make 48k a year just sitting on my ass but I still want travel, get a wife, and be able to afford my hobbies/interest what is the easiest shit i can do for an extra 30k
BTC should drop 10-20% to it's next ATL before the start of next year. If it doesn't then the ATL has already occurred and you can "safely" DCA monthly starting jan-mar.Count 24 months from the ATL (or jan-mar) and then cash out in 10-20% tranches in the final 6-12 months of the bull market. Don't try time the top, set it all up automatically. With BTC alone you're looking at ~3x with this strategy. Don't try push higher, don't try trade, don't use leverage, don't pay attention to the news, don't even think about any of it. Automate it and forget.Since you have 4k you can easily spare 1/4 or more per month.Alternatively, SPCX IPO'd recently and you can put it in that for a "safer" investment. But it's unlikely to experience the same growth as TSLA since its IPO because that would require around ~15% of global GDP captured. SO you're looking at a conservative 8-12% per year which isn't enough for your purposes. The ~$1k per month into BTC is the most viable and safe strategy to meet your 30k target. If you're uncertain, pay someone to manage it for you.
>48k/yr>need 30k more a yearFor what? IF you play your cards right and shuffle between SEA countries you're going to be loaded in 2-3 years. If he was willing to wait 10+ years i'd say just to invest it in legacy systems but i'm guessing OP wants 30k in a shorter timeframe.>For what? IF you play your cards right and shuffle between SEA countries you're going to be loaded in 2-3 years. It's entirely possible to live there on 1200 a month.Case in point for "gambling". And only 80% effective at preventing STD's.1/5 chance every time you stick it in.
If you're VA w/ Dis do >>2892496 you can basically get an all furnished/utilities included condo in Makati for ~600-700 a month. He'd be better off using his Military benefits to buy a house for no money down lowest interest rates possible(assuming his credit score is over something that begins with a 6), and lease out. Personally I'd just tell OP to split his pay 2000 into checking 2000 into a high yield savings, maybe take 500 from savings and play the crypto lotto

>>2892505>Like I said, if you can't assess the risk/reward yourself then you are an NPC. EVERY country and every fund holds some BTC now.The volatility of BTC is not worth the gamble, I never said it wasn't viable. A lot of people who say BTC = crypto in general anyways. If OP has no savings the literal first thing he should do is create an emergency fund that is only going to decrease if he has to access it, plenty of banks out there offer near 4% interest in savings with immediate availability and is insured. Crypto has no such backing, just last year we saw it go all over the place.>You know absolutely nothing about crypto. I do, and I know throwing "how 2 win" crypto for someone looking to make a side hussle of 30/yr is pants on head retarded for someone from the US military. >>2892511>The volatility of BTC is not worth the gamble,That's an opinion. I can do the same.If OP puts his money in savings inflation will eat it. If OP buys a house then 1-2 years down the line the interest rates will spike and he'll sell at a loss.

For OP. BTC historically cycles 3 years bull market (growth) and 1 year bear. This is the reason I suggested waiting for another 10-20% drop or until the first quarter of next year to begin deploying funds if you choose to.The first two years will see the most growth, while the third will be the most horizontal which is why you want to exit in 10-20% tranches during this period. By doing this you won't capture 100% of growth (impossible anyway) but you will eliminate >80% of drawdowns.Worst case you're going to have the same amount as you started with because year over year BTC maintains a positive growth when averaged. If you really CBA dealing with it I suggest paying a professional to manage this for you and explain the strategy I outlined and ask them if it's kosher.
>>2892512>I assume he does. One month of wages is an emergency fund. You think a Disabled vet has savings, lmao look at this retarded civi. >Opportunity cost. Not applicable in the context of the OP. >As with the interest rates on mortgages the past five years which impacted more people than the volatility of BTC.Anon, Vet's get deals for their service in loans. 5.3% fixed for 15 years lmao, what are you even talking about. You did this same thing with housing mate.No you literally think on paper, everything I've stated has far less associated risk. It's ok, you're a self admitted retard. Speak to a financial adviser. OP should do the same. >>2892527>NOTHING you offer reaches 30k/yr except this potentially.A 4br @ 800 per room is 38.4k/yr, minus taxes it's going to be close to 35k/yr. Stop trying to attack my credibility and refute what I said. You have to be a foreigner who doesn't know shit about the US markets, vets, or anything relative to the USA. Guessing you're aussie. I was being nice with ESL because you either fundementally don't understand what the markets are like in the USA or intentionally twistin/ignoring what OP's goal of 30k/yr side income is.>NOTHING you offer reaches 30k/yr except this potentially.Leasing a house out to friends or people, achieves his goals, makes him money, and at the end of his travels will have something to call his back home. Housing markets traditionally outpace inflation. If all else fails OP has a house to fall back into and rethink his situation, a 185k 4br house @ 15 year 5.3% is like 1200/mo, taxes maybe ~120-160 depending on the state(homestead acts, military benefits). At the very worst case situation he has ~2500/mo left over to do fuck all with. This is the safest, most secure, highest probability of return on investment out there. So yes leasing out as he sees fit to make cash will make him that 30k/yr.There is no way you are familiar with the US and just guessing from University of /biz/ memes
>>2892506The only way OP can HOPE to make 30k a year extra on the side is taking the gamble on random shitcoin like pepe or doge blowing up. The biggest return on investment out there when it comes to leasing? Are you fucking with me? Rent adjusts to inflation and often exceeds it, are you actually this retarded? Why do you think landlords have so much money. Sure the initial investment is high, the ability to collect monthly on income is insane returns. Not to sound jewish but that's what it is.You know if you run out of money you can put the house back up to a bank and get the value of it instantly, at least in the USA right? Sure it might be a ARM or a 10% deal for 15 years but you can get near market rate in exchange for cash right there. If you lose your job, all you are required to pay is property taxes which at that point you can pay various ways.
