What are some places for me to into spearfishing? No outfitters or guides, I just wanna take my snorkel and wade into the water, or the one time I was in Belize I bartered with the chocolate-faces to take me in their boats out to offshore reefs. But I'm a dogshit spearo and need daily practice, lots of time in the water. Also I'd prefer camping in the forest vs staying in some shitty hostel full of scuba spergs.
I've never been to Hawaii or the Philippines, both look good. Any ideas?
