Anon, you're on a travel board. Most people here probably fly a minimum of 4-6 times a year. So you're at break even.

Are you one of those people who "travel" once a year? If so why do you need a checked bag, a personal item+carry on is more than enough for 90% of people for 2-4 weeks.
