I will be in San Francisco for a weekend later in July. Went last year and saw the main touristy stuff like Golden Gate or the shore or Lombardy street, Japan town. Don't care much for Alcatraz. Actually a bit worried I won't have much to do, I do want to bike/walk across the bridge this time and maybe go surfing? Some beautiful hikes/nature? Smoke a blunt on a mountain top? Do a class for something they only have in SF? Don't mean to be too hippie, just seems like thats how it is there. I don't really care for the techy/silicon valley either. Locals, what do you love to do there? Any advice is appreciated, thanks. 24yo euro btw.
You are a druggie so just buy some drugs and get drugged out you wont remember anyway
East Bay has some of the best hiking stuff ever, but going in February/March when everything is green and in bloom looks way nice. Hills are still a beautiful gold. I went in May and temps were comfy but it will be getting warmer now. Definitely check out the the GG park and the Presidio. It will have some have some museum attractions but they're also just pretty. Strawberry Hill and Twin Peaks are good hikes too. Really, you oughta go see the Marin Headlands, Point Bonita (only open on the third Saturday of each month), Sausalito, Muir Woods and Mt. Tamalpais peak where you can see the entire bay. You can go even further to Stinson beach and Point Rayes if you want to make the trip. It's the most beautiful nature on the planet.
>>2894592Great info, thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for, I'll go to as many of these as I can. During these hikes is there any fucked up ticks or other things in general to look out for? Deet spray enough?
Must you stay in San Fran? Go check out Monterey/santa cruz/bodega bay. Smoking weed on a mountain? Mt. Tam.
