yeah I just drive around different parts of Appalachia all year long, the secret is it's like mini-europe and you get a different experience going to NY-appalachia vs Alabama-appalachia and you can just vary it up by going to different states and even different parts of states

the bigger issue is the southern part is just too fucking hot to explore from late may-late sept and the northern part is too cold to explore from mid-nov-mid march so the good season is limited and spring and fall are really the best times
