Draconian, almost the entire Negev is a nature reserves and they do not allow you to camp outside of designated camp grounds their, fetuanbtly though enforcement is very slack and in practice you can camp almost any were you want, almost every night when i was passing thru it is just set up at the pojt i reached by night fall almost always very far from any campground,beyond the Negev i can not say becuase i don't know the laws but similarly i have just been camping were every i feel like it and have had no issue, been at it for over 80 days now

I did some night hikeing last night, saw three porquie pines and this hedgehog, i arrived today at the port of TEL Aviv, now i am spending shabbat with a family that hosts thru hikers in a kibbutz just north of TEL Aviv, on Sunday i will return to the trail and continue hikeing up the beach

Since leaving the Negev i have been encountering frequent water taps at least one every ten kilometers so i no longer need to wory about filtering puddle water or carying multiple days worth of fluids at a time, its nice and easy hikeing for now, but i do miss the actuale wilderness

If they let me take water, ice, and weed (openly) on the plane I would go again.
