I've eaten dry or packaged food that they sometimes leave, haven't gotten sick or anything.The rats aren't allowed to leave until after i check the room to see if anything's broken, i have to do this after finding the toilet seat in pieces in the trash once(they paid and confessed that they fell on it after i confronted them about it, surprisingly not fat).
