>>2899362Lubbock is a city of workers from the oil field, oil processing, CDL, University town, and some other things. Closest "city" is Amarillo 2 hours away, and Metro area is 4hours or so to DFW. Nothing else around much.It's good if you want to live cheap, you grab a house here in Lubbock for ~80k homestead it and pay 100/mo in taxes.
