I have to make this drive in a few months and i want to break it up so im not in a car for 15 hours straight.

Is there any town that's rougly around the halfway point on any of these routes worth visiting?

If i take that middle route I'll go through St. Louis around the halfway point but i've heard that town is a nightmare.

MLK Jr Blvd and Malcolm X Service Drive. The anons in the other thread were right that you should try to make Nashville on day one, stay there overnight, enjoy the city, and then continue on to the Gump (my condolences, Montgomery really is a shithole).

Ive heard nashville is a good time but after a 12 hour drive i doubt i would want to go out drinking on the town let alone be able to enjoy it.

I might take the other anon's suggestion of Jonesboro, i assume its not a niggerhell like the other options.

I mainly just wanted to stop and sleep somewhere, it would be a bonus if it had a cool downtown area to go get dinner in.

Memphis, although that's still leaving you with a short drive one day and a mega long one the next (still doable though.)

Stay at the ARRIVE hotel, nice area where you're not exactly downtown. Go walk ~10 minutes to Gus's Fried Chicken for dinner, you won't regret it. Drove cross-country and stopped in Memphis for 2 days (2nd day being a trip to graceland) and I really liked that hotel. Obviously doesn't really matter where you stay, but that's a grim line to drive. If you take the right path you'll just be stopping a small town in Kentucky which isn't the worst, but I wouldn't say it's worth not visiting Memphis at least once.
