Hello felllow anonsA couple of weeks ago I saw a job offer for this beach bar Amaya Beach Bar, which is on Brac Island , right next to the city of Split, Croatia.Long story short I got introduced to the bar through a HR agency in my country. They told me very brief info , salary, accomodation info and one meal per day , work is six days per week as a cook.I haven't heard from them for two weeks after that, I asked them if there is any answer from the employer, they told me I wasn't accepted, and 15 mins later they called me to inform me that just now things changed and I was now accepted. It turned out the travel expenses to get to the island are quite hefty, so when I asked for more info, they referred me to the beach owner directly.I spoke to them, they told me they need me asap, so I asked them to cover my travel expenses. They sent me 50€ through Revolut, to my shock.I then researched my route and it turned out that the whole one way route is approximately 100€ .When I informed them about the price they just messaged me that they can send me more.Dont they know how much it costs to get to their island? What do you anons think aboyt the whole situation?
>>2895332Nah it seems legit. The guy in front of you quit and now they need you. Maybe the work environment sucks or maybe he was a pussy. Only one way to find out
Heres more photos
>>2895333By what do you find it seems legit
>>2895335I worked as a cook in situations like that. People quit or get dropped all the time. You will be treated like shit but you will make money. If they pay the transport fee and you have enough to return you should go
>>2895336The mentioned money is 1600€ for 6 days of work, for 8 hours / day
The other interesting thing is that the hiring company, states that is specializes in hiring employees from South America, so I am not sure what are they doing in Bulgaria, hiring Bulgarians for the same money :https://www.abilitas.hr/
>>2895341>>2895342that's 33€ an hour. They know Bulgaria has the lowest gdp and is the cheapest labor in europe. so you are risking €100 return ticket to make 1600€, you should go for it
>>2895345My man, wages in Europe are given per month, not per week and it's extremely likely the case here since 6400/month would be fantastic pay. It's not that much above Croatian minimum wage at 1600 for a 6 day workweek.
>>2895347i know that but its offsite and OTin US i made $5k in a month working a job like that. except i was local and the other people were the ones getting flown in
>>2895345>>2895347>>2895348Guys.You don't understand.Its 1600€ per MONTH .
>>2895332>It turned out the travel expenses to get to the island are quite hefty>€100What did he mean by this?
>>2895360he's roachgarian. his country is closer to turkey and syria than it is to mainland europe>>2895359if that's more than you make in your shithole go for it dude. if it's not dont bother
>>2896046>>2896047>>2896049Idk if you'll last dude. You ask too many questions. Just shut up and do the work it's not philosophical
