Is this a psyop to prevent people from anything that might indicate friendship with animals? I'm not talking about some obviously abusive circuses and petting zoos, but I need honest answers! PETA and ALF/ELF really brainwashed the world...There are seldom places for people, especially children to travel to, as well.
>>2896742>peta banned themNo they just really aren't economically viable which is what stopped them
>>2896746I don't think so
>>2896752Anon animals are expensive as fuck to train, maintain, feed, transport, and insure.
>>2896742how is this travel relatedfuck off to /pol/ if you just want to bitch about "leftists" or whateverpeople who abuse animals are cunts. all circuses that have animals abuse them so fuck them
>>2896755Not all circuses abused animals, but well, in modern times, we could still reform petting zoos. Plumes plays in front of wild animals and sometimes pets and feeds them.
Circuses are just getting unpopular, regardless of animals. Can't remember the last time I had any interest in going to the circus.Petting zoos seem like a legal issue. They're not really mainstream to begin with, and you only really see them in small local fairs. Kids are obviously the target demographic, and it's all fun until a goat bites a child, and the parents sue the owners.
>>2896742>friendship>locking the other being in a cage for its entire lifeZoos are fucking lame anyway once you're over the age of like 12. Any adult man that wants to go to the zoo is just weird. Go watch a nature documentary or go travel to where they actually live so you can "befriend" them without an inch of plexiglass in between you and without holding a living thing captive for its whole life
>>2896758How do you think they train them? You think they just ask a lion politely to do a bunch of lame tricks? When it fucks up a performance you think they give it some Meow Mix and some warm milk to cheer it up? Come on bro...
