Don't try to go to the main Malagueta beach. The vendors will drive you insane. The bug you every 5 minutes. Go 10 minutes north to a smaller beach. If you want girls, go to Av. de Velázquez, 24. Mijas is a cool little town nearby that's nice to visit. El Torcal de Antequera is good for hiking.
