These things are really handy, lightweight and durable for real travellers . Ive been using them 5 years straight almost 2000 days and they are just starting to wear out. One for clothes, one for toiletries and one for vitamins and medicine .

No I just have my old phone be my second phone, both esim so if I lose or break one I just reswap my number over.

Primary phone is an iphone 16 max, got it for a good deal like 400 new just open box. Worth it for Asia as the countries I go to all have NFC compatible virtual passes.
Secondary phone A36, again got it for like 129 or something through google fi fits the bill has my banking apps/2fa things on it.

Never traveling without 2 phones again, had one experience where I broke a phone while abroad. Made my life a living hell till I was able to get back into the USA and properly verify things. Also NFC/ESIM is invaluable in current year.

I grew up in NA and never understood what the point of ice buckets were. I mean I wouldn't mix it with my drink... So what do you need an ice bucket for if you have a mini fridge?

Anyway the answer to your question is: Europeans don't grow up drinking ice-filled drinks and space is limited, so the demand for ice is quite low.
