Love Vegas, simple as. Post stories, tips, suggestions, etc centered around Las Vegas. Including but not limited to >where to stay >where to eat>where to avoid >gambling info >comps info >promos and specials >best pools >best museums>bars and nightclubs >free shit to do >concerts, sports, etc
>>2899341photo from the eiffel tower? >where to stayfirst timers, stay on the strip to experience it. returning visitors, avoid the strip cuz it’s a rip off >where to eattoo many restaurants to pick from. figure out your budget and what kinda food you want and go from there >where to avoidfor me, the strip and strip clubs >gambling infodon’t gamble much. the time to gamble in vegas is long gone. play a hundred bucks of blackjack or make a sports bet and do other shit besides throw money away in casinos >comps infoidk never chased comps >promos and specialslas vegas advisor has a decent coupon book. also consider going during slow times like mon-weds, or in august and december >best poolscirca has the best pool >best museumsmob museum is fun and so is pinball museum >bars and nightclubsthere is a bar every fifty steps. pick your poison whether you want a basic casino bar, non casino bar, piano lounge, fancy cocktails, speak easy, or whatever >free shit to dohike at red rocks, fremont street music, people watching, bellagio conservatory, idk i enjoy just walking around when it’s not super hot >concerts, sports, etcknights games are fun. ufc is fun but too expensive, even the womens basketball games are fun
>vegas>tipsGo literally anywhere else unless you've never been and just *have* to cross it off the bucket list. Vegas post covid is>DUDE WEED LMAO>hotel fees up the ass for the bare minimum often non staffed check in or wait 30 minutes behind pedro, jamal, patel families all slob touristing it even in the nicer places cuz my benefits and dat klarna >food quality has dropped while prices have increased 30-100% enjoy your sysco slop>everything is now an app or online sign up for the interesting things some places will get you in if you walk up but surcharge>the shows have all changed>alcohol prices went full retard>buffets are all but gone yes I know they "exist" but they are just upper class golden corral now>gambling odds are better on polymarket or fucking gacha at this point >muh free drinks for gambling doe are gone or just 1/2 a shot per glass>taxi services somehow worse than ever>Airport SOMEHOW is even worse (I do not understand this they had a huge influx of cash during covid)Worst part is everything is just kept up with the bare minimum often there in name only and closed but still "there" so they can advertise it actually exists. There really isn't anything worth doing unless you tack on a few days to a show or company event you are going to and just want to see a few things. Like COVID and Weed just killed it, online gambling has made it so that there isn't any reason for it to come back; don't get me started on the water and new airport issue. If you have money fly to Macau, if you're in NA just go to anywhere gambling is legal now; hell I sure atlantic city is putting more effort into attracting people than fucking vegas is these days.
I’m an oldfag. I’ve been to Vegas around 40 times, prob 2/3 for work and 1/3 for fun. The only mention I have ever heard about Vegas being dead and >muh brown post COVID is on /trv/ Vegas is an attraction for people all over earth. It’s a diverse place. It has always been a diverse place. Nothing has changed. If you’re a white trash chud racist, stay home. You won’t enjoy people from all over the planet having fun together in Vegas.
>>2899352Thanks Tourism of Vegas powered by chatgpt! Wow I best book today!
>>2899356Lmao these tourism boards promoting the shittiest places like las Vegas
>>2899356>>2899359>Vegas tourism board paying to influence a broke white trash chud to visit Lol They don’t want your kind in Vegas
>>2899360Anon if you've been to vegas since it reopened or hell even when it was opening after COVID you know slob tourists make up 80% of the places you go to these days. WEED tourist from aussies and other random people flying in frontier is a huge business, the strip fucking REEKED at first then it spread everywhere else. The amount of influencers trying to do stupid shit is also annoying worse than any pedro's offering you cards for a club. The amount of families who let their shitskin kids run around any hour of the day is insane. The women going are slobs, the staff is non existent in places, food is obviously the Sysco bulk ordered stuff, it's clear that no one has touched up the rooms since covid, etc. Learn to read, it's fine if you need to check it off your bucket list and do a few things, not going to blame anyone for that one and done adventure. It has 0 fucking value to revisit, the pull it had precovid where you could get the some deals for a 4 day weekend on the cheap with a show or two are gone, and with it any reason to go back.>Inb4 uhh well if you stay in this specific hotel 30 minutes from everything LV is known for and then go do these specific things it's funYeah, so is some place like Phoenix and a hell of a lot cheaper.
>>2899376Yeah man I don’t know what to tell you. I’ve been a ton and what you described isn’t my experience at all. I rarely smell weed, I eat delicious meals, I stay in nice, well kept hotel rooms and there are beautiful women everywhere. Families with young kids are few and far between. I’ll continue to go back regularly and have fun. (You) can stay home and seethe while posting 900 words of hyperbole and lies
why is this board so anti-vegas? love vegasmy usual trip>land around 8pm fridsy >hotel by 9 >quick shower and change >hotel bar usually have a drink coupon or food & drink comp from poker and black jack >grab a couple drinks and a quick bite like tacos or pizza >poker room by 1030 >play until 2 or until i bust >bed by 2 saturday >wake up around 9 >hit up the pool for an hour >get my pasty ass some sun >get something good for early lunch like italian or asian dumplings >poker room by 1 >play for four hours>back to the room to shower and change again >walk the strip while looking up shows and concerts that night and popping into random bars >higher end dinner like lavo or steak >either do a show (if my fiancee comes) or try some table games or sportsbook >get drunk and gamble until midnight >fly out the next morning before 11am >home by 3pm sunday with some time to decompress before work monday my main advice: keep the trip short. dont nobody need to be in vegas more than 48 hours
>>2899392>>land around 8pm fridsy>>hotel by 9LMAO at least try with your larp there anon
>>2899395it takes you more than an hour to get out of the airport? why? i usually call a uber as soon as i get off the plane and its there when i get to the parking garage
>>2899392>Another tourism board post that would describe zero people who ever read /trv/
>>2899404Wasting your time anon he’s a schizo who shows up in every Vegas thread. Accuses everyone of never having been to Vegas like he’s the only person who has ever visited a place that gets 40 million visitors per year
>>2899392>>2899404Anon 1 hour from touchdown to your hotel room is not really happening unless you're going specifically to the MGM and at 8PM on a Friday no less, that check in is fucking snails pace. Also leaving around 11AM on sunday and back home by 3PM where the fuck are you flying to. PHX or SLC, no way you're getting out of LAX to home that fast with the cluster they have.If you are doing that schedule for real, that's one hell of a expense for ~36 hours in vegas
>>2899416You’re definitely autistic >land around 8>leave before 11 NO CHANCE THESE TIMES DON’T LINE UP PERFECTLY TO THE MINUTE
>>2899418Usually when someone says around X they mean between +/- 10 minutes, Before 11 can mean 10:45
>>2899392Fuck offwoth larpshit
>>2899348Other important thing:Summer Las Vegas heat is something else. Unless you're used to extreme heat you won't want to be outside for any length of time.Winter Las Vegas has warm days and nights that get close to freezing
>>2899392I assume you mean at the gate from taxi as "arriving" because every time I've flown into LAS it's always a shitshow of waiting for the gate, taxi, changes etc. One hour to hotel is doable, I hope you mean just getting to the desk and checking in not in your room like it sounds.Day 1 you spent 3 hours out? Because you said in bed by 2AMDay 2 sounds fine but you're telling me you see Vegas for 15 hours.3rd day you're basically dashing to the airport if your flight is before 11 as those lines get fucked and Pre-Check line is also fucked because everyone else post covid has it now.How much are you paying for these 18 hours of Vegas? Spirit ain't doing those cheap 60 dollar round trips anymore and frontier has stopped for a while. Those only went to like 3 airports anyways, and if you more or less spent 3-4 hours in the air you'd only be at a handful.I get weekenders are a thing but this seems like such a waste of time and money for what amounts to about ~18 hours of fun.>inb4 muh point dealsThe resort fees basically negate any and all savings, not to mention uber costs are fucked and you ain't backtracking to "well I take the bus actually" bs.These are the kinds of posts that delegitimize anything Vegas has to offer because any critical points made at Vegas basically get met with a LARP or "heh chump doesn't know the secret :)". Meanwhile the people who have gone, some I will say have the rose tinted glasses on when they shouldn't, bitch about legit issues are just brushed off.t. goes to vegas for work events
>>2899683>autist cannot fathom someone else might enjoy vegas differently than him jesus christ you lot are not real people
>>2899710>I enjoy spending $5000 and an entire weekend in planes, taxis, airports so I can give my money to rude wagies and eat shit goyslop waaaaaah of course everyone wants to do thatNo thanks sounds miserable id rather do almost anything else even get a tooth drilled
At the end of COVID I was leaving the country, flying out of Vegas thought I'd spend a week there do some casual gambling. Having been there a few times so I knew prices, looked for hotels saw the outrageous resort fees, saw buffets shut down, outrageous prices for drinks and food everything I just stayed in mesquite for $40 a night and didn't even gamble I'm not a paypig I don't have to go. It's now for hardcore gambling addict, coomer loser rich fucks and foreigners, that's fine it was never required. You miss nothing by not going
>>2899721$5k? Is this another autism thing where you don’t understand the value of money?
Seasoned oldfag Vegasgoer here. For me it’s:>where to stayCirca is my favorite property in Vegas. Highly recommend. >where to eatHave one fine dining meal during your stay. Make the rest affordable but good eats >where to avoidI avoid walking off strip and I avoid walking too far in summer. I’m in my 40s. The risk of heatstroke is real when you’re walking 10,000 steps in 115 degree heat. >gambling infoI’m a craps player. Do not play crapless craps. Look for the best odds in craps. The table will say “3x-4x-5x odds” or something like that. Look for the highest number. The best bet in Vegas is at the craps table called the Odds Bet after the point has been established. You can make a minimum wager on the pass line, then a larger wager for your Odds Bet. There is no house edge for the Odds Bet. It pays the true odds of rolling that number (winning) vs rolling a 7 (losing) >comps infoPlayer’s cards are free. In my experience you need to be a middle to high level gambler to get value out of comps. The majority of Vegasgoers don’t gamble enough to worry about comps. If you’re a larger gambler (e.g. you bring $5,000 or more each trip and go more than once a year) then you should connect with a casino host. Hosts are a revelation once you reach that level. They can get you anything from free rooms to free show tickets and even pick you up from the airport in a limo. >promos and specialsNot sure. I never hunt for deals like this. >best poolsI’m partial to Circa. It’s huge. Giant tv to watch sports. Many beautiful women including the cocktail servers. >best museumsNot into museums. I’d go to DC if I wanted museums. >bars and nightclubsToo many to list. As I mentioned I mostly play craps but I do enjoy the Mega Bar and Overhang Bar at Circa. I usually play $1 hands of Deuces Wild to get free drinks. >free shit to doI don’t seek out free stuff in Vegas but I do love the live music on Fremont. Dr Rock and Alter Ego are lots of fun
>>2900005You ever get the $1 shrimp cocktail?
>>2900016I don't eat seafood unless I caught it myself or at I'm at least on a coast.
>>2900047peak boomer
>>2900016I used to go to to Goldengate Casino in the early 2000's and get those $1 shrimp cocktails and root beer floats. Those 2000's deals on the strip were good. The $10 AYCE buffet with prime rib at Excalibur, the $10 T-bone deal at Barbary Coast, the $1 bowling at Suncoast, the free concerts at the Palms, $1 margs at Harrahs.
>>2900142value is coming back vegas knows they priced too many ppl out all inclusive options and cheap weekends all over these days
>>2900142That's what I'm talking about it was kind of fun walking around to the different casinos getting their little deals walking 10 minutes through the maze of the casino looking for the spot for $8 steak and eggs then playing some blackjack not as a diehard gambler. Now it just seems like everything is peak ripoff. COVID really fucked the supply chain everything that worked to keep prices low in America was destroyed
>>2900156Its gettimg better. Im at lowly MGM pearl tier (plebian i know) and ive noticed the deals im being sent are steadily getting better in the last year or so
Go on weekdays, hotels tend to be cheaper. Also look week to week. BYOB.Whatever you drink plus some water will save you a good bit of money. One of biggest bangs for your buck is Top of the Strat. 26 bucks for insane views of the city.Gamble. Fuck it you’re in Vegas. Grab the free drink and roll the dice.
>>2900418>Today's ad, brought to you by Las Vegas tourism board , paid for with a 19% tax on your hotel rooms
For me, it's Casino Royale.>right in the middle of the strip>clean, affordable rooms>no jewish resort feesIf you use your hotel as just a place to crash while you spend most of your time elsewhere, this is a great spot.
>>2900429Their footlong hot dogs used to be $0.99. Now they’re $4.99
Only advice is do not play slots I have a trust fund gamblefag buddy who invited me to vegas in 22. He had a fancy suite but paid for me to have a separate room and covered all our meals. He’s a super generous guy. He got an invite to a slot tournament. I didn’t know slot tournaments were a thing. He ended up winning. I watched part of it and had no fuckin idea what was going on kek. He was mid 30s, everyone else was boomers. The prize was $5000 in free slot play. You can’t just take the cash tho, you have to bet $5000 in slot spins before you can cash it out. So he plays big, between $25-$50 per spin and ends up cashing out for just over $900. I figured he’d lose a few hundred of the $5000 but he lost almost all of it before hitting the minimum amount wagered. I’d have been devastated if that was me, he didn’t give a fuck because he lost way more playing black jack and bacarrat the previous night
>>2900618Better advice is just don't go to Vegas. Total loser behavior to go there , unless you are a trust funder or he pays your way then no biggie
Any of you niggers ever been to atlantic city? I go to vegas at least once a year (already went in may) i got labor day week off and am trying to figure out what to do. I dont really wanna do vegas again immediately, i also recently bought a new truck and want to do a roadtrip innit and im on the east coast so atlantic city is like a 5h drive could be fun.Is it just like a smaller vegas? I like gambling and seeing shows and just taking in the vibe of the strip and fremont. Good fit? Or not really?Obviously not gonna spend the whole week in AC in the same way i wouldnt do a full week in vegas, couple days probably, then go somewhere elseThe main decision point though is if i wanna roadtrip north (plenty of things im familiar with, probably do 2-3 in maine, then nh then vt) or south (AC and then... idk)

Club One will give you comps for play but they also give promo dollars, like you’ll get a monthly offer food credit and free play, usually a couple hundred bucks each. It’s enough to get a nice meal for two at one of their steakhouses. I did not use any comps for two trips, now I have several hundred on my card and I’m not a big bettor at all. I play minimum limit table games, VP, and small sports bets. If you’re gambling bigger than me you should give them a shot. Much better comps than ceasers or mgm ever offered me

>>2900782Atlantic City is a shithole. You're not going to want to leave where you're staying because there's a lot of crazy homeless people. Most of the casinos are run down and in desperate need of a facelift, though I think Tropicana just got some renovations (much needed). I only ever stay at the Borgata, which is probably the closest you're going to get when it comes to a Vegas level casino in AC. Haven't been to Ocean but I hear that's good too, it's the newest one. Important to note that Borgata is NOT on the boardwalk and is away from most of the city (not a bad thing, just something to be aware of)t. NJfag

>>2902220It's not about it being the cheapest getaway, sure i can go somewhere in or adjacent state for long weekend or a week long trip, but where the fuck else are you gonna go domestic if you just wanna drink, smoke and gamble all day long and take in the vibes and see shows? I just fuckin love the casino vibe, i dont play keno, i dont buy scratchies, i dont do sportsbook or fantasy football; i only enjoy "gambling" while drinking and chainsmoking while playing poker, blackjack and slots in a casino setting. For me, vegas is like disneyland for those "disney adults" I got injun and corporate casinos in sub hour driving range from where i live but ive never even been to them, i understand that rising resort fees and less buffets etc might be a deal breaker for those who just saw it is a cheap catchall family vacation spot, but if you want that drink and smoke everywhere and gamble all day long, catch some shows and wander around and take in the party vibe vegas is the only place.

if youre a gambler you can get free rooms and waived resort fees through casino player clubs. might take a couple visits of playing at the same casino to build up points and comps. its worth it if youre a frequent vegas traveler. i havent paid for a room in years
>>2902612>worth it if youre a frequent vegas travelerWhy the fuck would anyone go to Vegas frequently these days? Once a year is more than enough
>>2902612>if youre a gambler you can get free rooms and waived resort fees through casino player clubs. This is only if you're dumping loads, and I mean serious loads of cash these days to where sure you "losing 5k" pays for the 4 nights you are at the hotel. >inb4 nuh uh I get free rooms playing Black Jack :^) just a secret on how to do itAnon a hotel isn't throwing you free rooms if you're not a net positive to them in some regards, and I strongly doubt anyone here has a status in the gambling scene talking on /trv/ of all places. You might get a free hotel comp'd once a year at most if you are glued to their mobile apps and have some CC from their chain. Though that's questionable too.
>>2902664Isn't it worth losing a few $thousand to get a free $50 room and spend your weekend in a loud smoky building full of drunk losers?
Hi, I’m anon I hate Las Vegas and everyone who goes there. I shit up every Vegas thread with my shitty cynical opinions.
Bauhaus nightclub in dtlv was my favorite part of my trip. I went Saturday night and there was no cover. Music was real techno. The crowd was nice and security even brought me water while I was dancing.Second favorite thing was riding a 50cc scooter around Vegas and the strip. Felt so good parking and getting around for cheap.

Luxor has their “all inclusive” deal right now, 330 for>2 nights (resort tower has the renovated rooms so you definitely want that one)>3 meals per day for 2 people from select restaurants including at Mandalay Bay, Excalibur and MGM Grand, this includes the Excalibur buffet for breakfast and lunch>1 beer or wine per person per meal >2 show tickets (Blue Man Group, Carrot Top or some male stripper shit)>2 roller coaster tickets>self parking>$25 free play credit for new members>all resort fees and other bullshit includedFor 330 this is a solid value in my opinion but Vegas is a burning hot piss stinking weed stinking hellhole right now. It could be fun if you bring your gf/wife and fuck a lot in between eating and drinking, the show and coaster give you some stuff to do but honestly Vegas sucks overall.

>>2904824Im not even the vegas hater guy but i wouldnt wanna stay at the luxor for 2 nights even if you paid me 330 and gave me all that free shitIts not even about if they may have rennovated, the location itself just kinda sucks, different strokes for different folks i guess but south strip aint for me. Central (flamingo and north) or fremont is more my speed for having an area with fun nightlife in short walking distance to end your night on a high note.
>>2905158Agree about Luxor. It’s a dump. I’m not picky about hotels but I’d rather stay at a Best Western than luxor. South end of the strip was fun 12-15 years ago. Now it sucks. Too many dated theme hotels down there
>>2904674my usual trip is a $1000-$1500 win or lossworst was a $3800 loss when this loudmouth sucked out on me twice and i went on tilt like a retardbest was a $2200 win with no good story just a bunch of small consistent wins
Got a players card on my last trip. I have $85 in comps. How do i use comps? Can you pay at casino restaurants and bars with the players card?
>>2905952yes you give them your players card and ID at any casino restaurant or bar and they will use your comps for the tab you cannot tip with comps though ive heard some programs have cash back options for higher level players there are also off property partners for most players clubsyou can always go to the players club desk or talk to a host about how to use your comp dollars
>>2904768Not planning to see a show, who knows if we’ll end up seeing one. Staying at Park MGM
>>2902664I get free rooms every month. If I go twice in a month, I text my host and he gives me a free room. I am not a high roller. How poor are you?
>>2906272I mean free rooms doesn't mean what it use to anon. I can play their app games and "get free rooms" but it's at some place like luxor, cheapest room on Tuesday and Wednesday, with resort fee's+taxes not included. >inb4 "heh nope but it's a secret how I got the Wynn :)"
>>2905749So wait anon:>>2899683Lowballed hard, you're paying 1000-1500 for 18hrs of a toss up of going further in the hole or not? Fuck man, I could throw that on polymarket spread and make more or just S&P500 it for better returns. I get vegas can be interesting but bro...
>>2906280No idea what you’re talking about with the app. I gamble in the casino and get free rooms whenever I want from that.
>>2906284Okay where and how much did you put down on the tables, because no one ever posts where or when. If you blow 2k at the Luxor on gambling to get a 40 dollar free room, that's not exactly something to brag about. If you're throwing 500 and getting free nights at the MGM or Wynn, that's different. The apps for hotel chains can sometimes be how people get comp'd rooms without doing but in vegas.
>>2906286I take about $2500-$4000 to gamble and I rarely lose it all. I’ve had 2 trips this year I left up over $1000. I typically play $25 blackjack, $25 craps, and $10-$25 video poker. I stay at Plaza, Circa, or Resorts World usually
I'm going to a convention in a few weeks, I have about $150 budget for dinner, what should I eat for those 3 days?
>>2906292Clarification it $150 per day.
>>2906293Get off the strip. You’ll get more bang for your buck. If you have a car, tons of good Asian food in Spring Valley. Lots of steakhouses and Italian off the strip that are high quality and 30% cheaper than the same meal at a casino I love Eggworks for affordable breakfast
>>2900429>If you use your hotel as just a place to crash while you spend most of your time elsewherethis is the only way to do it spending $400 on a hotel room is retardedall you do is sleep and shower there
>>2902482>doing whatever you want all the time with total freedom is…LE BAD This is your brain on /pol/ lol
What should I do with my comps Vegasbros
>>2906302convention on the strip sadly.
>>2906313Piero's is near the strip and really good. I like that spot but it's expensive, you'd probably push $150 with an appetizer, entree, two drinks and a tip
>>2906291This is like those disney adults who use their "points" to get a free stay at disney but are also 20k in the hole but "hey it was a free trip/hotel" minus the flight, taxi, food, etc.
>>2906319I'm down around $3500 this year on 6 trips I haven't paid for a hotel room or a meal
>>2906327Missing the point holy shit, this is why Vegas threads fail so hard on trv. You're bragging about being 3500 in the hole BEFORE factoring in flights or transportation. You're at let's round it 600$ we know about. I also highly doubt every meal, drink, etc was comp'd as first you just said it was the room. Vegas has a shit value for most anyone going outside business. Can't wait for the "lol I'm not poor so it's not a big issue" argument next which is again not the point.
>>2906329I fly a ton for work and get points. I haven’t paid for a personal flight in almost five years. The only food or drink I’ve paid for is off-property which is rare. I guess I did pay for a steak one time at a place my favorite host suggested
>>2906329Gotta love the "ur too poor to waste$ like me" retards
>>2906350Spending $600 monthly on entertainment isn’t a big deal for most adults anon. People who play golf a lot spend double that.
>>2906409Yes you are smart and cool to throw $15,000 per year into the trash for your gambling addiction that's called being an adult with a hobby
>>2906340>oh I also get all my flights paid for>oh my taxi's are comped too>my time at the airport I just drink the free water>also I never have to pay the required taxes that if you redeem points you have to pay anyways>no I don't have to pay resort fee's for my comped room, the love me for dropping a meager 5k twice a yearAnon I travel for work, even if you redeem points you still have to give your pound of flesh to book. ~10k a year isn't getting you a comped room that's shit I see people from Cisco/MS/etc drop in 1 night and they still gotta pay rooms when the go to vegas for fun. This is such a larp it hurts, if you said 100k? Sure I'd maybe start to see you getting a 1-2 night room stay on some of the lower traffic days here and there, 10k these days is literally jack shit.>>2906350>>2906409600/mo (or 1500-3500 a trip) in gamblings in Vegas is absolutely a nothingburger and NOT getting you free rooms outside the slowest days in the slowest seasons. This is what poorfags THINK is big when it's not, this is the kind of things you'd hear off some boomer who's telling you a tall tail and *maybe* got a comped extra night at the end for losing X dollars. That's the real biggest problem with these threads, the math doesn't math. No one is going to comp you 500ish in rooms for you dropping avg 2250 at the tables at the hotels anon said. That's just retarded. It's like these threads are specifically made by gambling addicts to justify their shitty habits without being real about the total cost or what's really going on around them. As said, this is like explaining your 'free points' on a CC aren't giving you a free vacation while being 12k in the hole. You just think it that way because it makes you feel better about being had by a CC.
>>2906413I don't give a shit how people spend their money, if it's 15k a year in vegas so be it. I probably have some of my own vices and places I go that aren't cheap and seen as silly waste of cash. However, I'm upfront about it and not going to sugar coat it with 'erm well achktually I have all these freebees so stop dissing it'. Vegas is not giving you more than maybe 1 night on top of your already booked stay. Assuming if he's going now, like the hottest, shittiest, time of year where monsoon season rolls in with the heat? Sure you can get a room for 120/night outside weekends. They ain't going to take a profit from 3500 to 3000 (room, meals, etc) because you think you're a big spender. Maybe, and I do mean maybe, you'd get 2 nights tops with a meal voucher for breakfast during this time of year, but that's a big if.The biggest common issue with these threads is how they go from, based on reality to straight up not making sense to psuedo-larp in a few questions.
>>2906414You seem very upset anon. I’d suggest logging off and maybe going outside for a bit?
>>2906413Are people who spend $15,000 a year on a country club membership also throwing their money away?
>>2906419 It’s all about theoretical loss anon. If you gamble a lot they give you lots of comps. Why is this so hard to understand for the average /trv/ retard?
>>2906465>you must be madIt's calling out bullshit plain and simple, it's akin to other threads where some dude brags about banging a jav they met at some anime store in weeb town japan. The only difference here is that some old fart is getting called out.>>2906470Anon they aren't dropping near 20% gains, they know who's losing and playing what.
>>2906518Don’t know what to tell you bud. I get free rooms always and I eat/drink free 99% of the time on property. I’m sorry that upsets you
>>2906414>taxis comped too They actually do offer to pick me up from the airport in a limo lol. I usually decline and take an Uber. The one time I took a limo the driver reeked of weed and was visibly annoyed when I only tipped him $10
>>2906414Here's the proof of free limo pickup btw. It's really not that hard to get to the blue level at Club One. You don't have to be rich
>>2906414you dont know what you are talking about it doesnt take a hundred grand to get free rooms in vegas dumbassmaybe a hundred grand risked which isnt hard if youre taking five grand each trip
>fOoD iN VeGAs SuCks!!! https://www.sfgate.com/food/article/michelin-guide-las-vegas-22406111.php
Coming late September. My girl loves Italian food, she would eat pasta every day if she could do it without getting fat. What's a great Italian restaurant? Willing to travel off strip if the food is worth it. Prefer to spend less than 100 bucks each
>>2906419Bro you can go during the off season and earn a fuckton of player points. Some casinos do 10x multiples around the holidays since they’re so slow. Two days of gambling will get you to mid tier rewards status
>>2906606>Two days of gambling will get you to mid tier rewards statusSounds like a horrible grind
Anyone go to Vegas for nature outside of Vegas? It's a solid location for stuff like the grand canyon, hoover dam, and death valley.
>>2906655No we like to sit in loud smoky rooms and lose money
>>2906621Not if you enjoy it. Gambling ain’t for everyone tho
>>2906656This but unironically. I hate cigarette smoke in any other context but love it in casinos
>>2906655I did Red Rocks once it was cool. Don’t feel any need to go back tho. Someone told me the Mt Charleston hike is nice in summer since it’s much cooler than the valley floor
>>2906414>>2906539kek BTFO
>>2906590Pieros - expensive Lavo - expensive Battista’s - mid price Andiamo - expensive
LETS GOOOOOOOO
>>2906621gambling is fun anon why would that be a grind
My biggest problem with all these point and loyalty things is i barely gamble or eat at the hotels i stay at; i just like.... shit and sleep there. I do the vast majority of my spending at whatever random casinos im seeing shows at in the form of pre/post show gambling and dining.
I'll be going to Vegas for the first time for a tradeshow.I'm sure it depends on the industry, but is there a lot of colleague/coworker fooling around at tradeshows?
>>2906655Zion is 2.5 hrs north, real world class stuff, all of southern UT
>>2906740>frontier>>2906539Yes anon, back at your home city you still need to get to and from the airport...
Any of you guys ever consider living in Las Vegas? I live in the Northeast currently and would appreciate not going through another winter up here lol
>>2906964Lived in PHX, had tons of friends who moved to LV for a while. Everyone I know has been flee'ing post COVID. Before I moved out of PHX looked at LV, shit's absolutely fucked unless you bought a house before COVID. I haven't checked but when I looked a few years ago housing went from ~60-125k for 2-3br, to like 250k min. Jobs are kinda fucked in Vegas too, I'm in tech and everything up and relo'd to Reno everything else tech wise was paying far below market outside government contract work for some of the bases outside of LV.I would say fly in and spend a summer in an Airbnb(not hard to find with all the empty overpriced houses). Just checked, yeah shit's still fucked <250k not finding shit even then it's. Go live in PHX if you want a desert, you can drive up north for snow, get a bit more rain, and most importantly an economy solely based on one gimmik with government contracts propping it up.
And the reason I use housing pricing is because that usually is fairly relative to apartment prices. I'm guessing it's far more fucked than PHX, where when I moved out a nice area was ~1250/mo for a place with onsite pool/gym/secure mail lockers/etc.
>>2899341Dont go
>>2901156It was me.Harrahs.
When plane tickets were cheap my wife and I went to Vegas twice a year. Typically we’d fly in early Friday morning and take a taxi to Ellis island to get breakfast and gamble a bit until noon or so then head downtown to plaza since they can get you checked in anytime after noon. Drop bags off, shower and fuck and crash until dinner time. Then we’d go get dinner at Oscar’s or Andiamo and then gamble all night usually at 4 queens. Get back to the room 2-3 am and crash until mid morning.Saturday is a quick bite to eat and then down to el Cortez for more gambling. Saturday dinner is always at Top of Binions. True old-school steakhouse and a view that can’t be beat. Sunday up early to catch flight home.
>>2907138Saving $100 on plane tickets made you blow thousands of $?
>>2906912Yes it’s basically an orgy you’ll be banging all kinds of industry randoms
>>2906964Work tried to move me to Vegas around 2017. I asked for a 50% raise to take that job and they laughed at me lol. Wouldn’t want to live in that town
Vegas is deader than disco
>>2906964Don’t move to Vegas. If you want warm winters and sun year round, move to Florida or Arizona
