European media and American media says America, especially southern states, are horrible places to visit. But everytime my countrymen visit they say America is paradise and Americans are the nicest people in the world with the best food. Who is lying?
more of an >>>/int/ pol shit questionPeople who hate the south are people who never went or went once and can't fathom weather isn't predictable as their place back on the west coast or can't walk down to a bodega for a 15 dollar sandwhich grab a six pack and get back to their studio apartment in 10 minutes. Additionally, most liberal people hate the south but can't articulate it because if they do everyone of them would out themselves as not liking the black and brown community that they never have to deal with in their gated environments. In the south to have a really good life you need to do the bare minimum above living on SSRI's, da gubment, and maybe do some yard care; or you're get learned about the urban youth visits. You can live pretty well off in the south/midwest for 40k if you're smart with your money, pay off debt as a priority, and don't try to keep up with the Jones's. After this year of living in Asia(going on 10 years from 24->34), looking to buy a house+car somewhere in Texas or Georgia which the houses I've seen add up to 170k total or ~2 years my saved salary. Property taxes seem to be <1500/yr, utilities aren't that bad, and I'll see how it goes. Have a few friends in the south so might be able to lease a room out.>inb4 NO WHITE WOMEN Every time I go to the south(work requires I go back here and there once a year for training/company planning) it's never a problem, if anything it's easier than the slob shit you get in LA/NYC/FL; where my 110k/yr doesn't turn any heads but in the south I can go to the more upper class stuff an filter out the undesirables. >UH BROWN PPLI always find this argument to be used by poorfags who try and tell themselves they aren't poorfags and simply don't have a grasp on socializing. Yes if I were to go to Buffalo wild wings as "socializing at a bar" but what else are you expecting. The worst things about southern living: Need a car (meh) and summers can be brutal in humidity and pollen.
In the next year or two it will come out this German fag was paid by some American tourism board. Nothing about his social media shit felt organic
>>2899349It's more like>euros slurp up news without question>finally go see it for themselves>wtf it's not like the news said at all>flood of posts people nooticing
>>2899351You’re probably right to an extent. This Freddy guy was not real tho. Him meeting that country superstar at random and all his other shit felt so fucking fake and scripted
>>2899353He didn't meet the famous people at random. He visited America and was enthusiastic and putting off good vibes, people like that. People noticed and he started getting invited to do lots of fun stuff. Doomers like you never prosper because you are miserable and no one wants to be near you.
>>2899351>slurp up news without questionlike how appalachia chuds slurp up /pol/ memes because all the schools in their entire neighborhood are half black from coal burners?
>>2899346The demographics of the South are atrocious, worst in the country. And demographics are destiny. Your entire post is pilpul and filibuster around this basic fact. Don't mind blacks/browns? OK, good for you. Stay in Kenya/Mexico for 1/10th the price and have a way better experience.
>>2899361It was fake. Mark my words faggot. It will be revealed eventually. Completely inorganic
>>2899363>>2899377The only ones who are going to be dealing with that shit are the people who try to do those "I bought a 25k house and fixed it UP!!!!!" lifestyles where you can't change the neighborhood.Learn to live in the suburbs and it's not a problem, oh no you'll need a car just go buy a 10k BMW or some Honda; they aren't hard to find.
Southerners and midwesterners are the last real Americans
>>2899349There's tons and tons of inorganic paid anti American content all over the Internet and elsewhere.
>it's another European/Australian meltdown thread because the USA can actually be affordable if you're willing to move episode>>2899377Yes anon I am sure that's why so many big name companies are starting up shop in these states, the southern states have better reading and high school level proficiency at graduation that "da good big cities". Hell Arkansas/Mississippi is beating LA in schools these days because they want to teach 'black math' in LA.This might be hard for euros to understand but not everything is clumped together in the USA, you can pick and choose your neighborhoods completely ban certain people out of your communities via HOA's. New developments almost never get problem people moving in as well and building houses is pretty easy in southern states. Athens GA is a lott different than Atlanta GA down by the airport which is a lot different than Marietta.Once you just get a car which most anyone in the USA should have if they went to highschool for more than 2 years, it means the city is fully open an most southern cities can be traversed in 1hr or so outside rush hour. Why don't you guys travel there and come back post here once that's done.
