I'm headed to Kyrgyzstan in a couple of weeks and trying to work out where to go next.

I work online and have my own business so can can go basically anywhere, though any further west is inconvenient cause of the timezones.

Are any of the other 'stans worth seeing? Georgia? Armenia? It'll be my first time in Central Asia.

nothing good there. just an islamic snoozefest. georgia seems alright if you're down to clown with hairy women. lebanon seems good if you're ok getting bombed once in a while
my advice is to stay out of muslim countries because they are boring and lame

Fair enough. Lebanon would be cool and I don't mind a little danger, but seems stupid to go atm. I'll pass on the hairy women I think.

I meant any further east is bad for timezones. West is better

Georgia and Armenia are great and are basically like Eastern Europe 20-30 years ago.
I've also wanted to visited the stans, but I hear the appeal is mainly nature and the cities are all dead with no nightlife due to Islamic values.
Maybe if I ever get a gf I'll go, but not as a solo traveler

Georgia might still be worth looking into. They have good infrastructure, it's easy to get a 1 year visa. Cheap wine, low cost of living, good banking. You can always have the foreign women, there's a lot of Russians there

Where would you recommend in Georgia and Armenia?
>>

Hmm ok, I've heard good things about Tblisi. I'm not much of a city person though, I prefer smaller towns surrounded by good nature. Any recommendations?

I only stayed in the capitals of Tbilisi and Yerevan. Both are big vibrant cities with interesting sites to see and good nightlife.
I think Georgia has overall more to offer as an entire country, as there's also Kutaisi and Batumi as big cities, plus cooler stuff in the countryside/national parks. Also went to Gori which was really cool. Armenia seems to have everything concentrated within an hour of Yerevan, and everything else is just poverty.

Terrible idea

Why?

Why not Kazakhstan? Capital is a few hours from Bishkek

I'd prefer a smaller town with nice nature to a big city

I had a good time in Georgia and Armenia. Kazakhstan was fun too but I'd rather revisit the former
