It has noticeably more intricate decor on its buildings than any other city I've been to. Every building in the old town is covered in statues, gargoyles, and paintings.
Other European cities have this but it's taken to the extreme in Prague. I think that's what made it stand out to me.

You can buy some very cheap pass for tram and metro 24/7 travel.
Beer and food is not too expensive even close to center you can find something affordable.

Museums are everywhere but whatever it has some cool ones.

You can take the bus out of town and go fossil hunting at old quarries.

I've visited a couple of times. What bothers me about the city is that the different areas or neighborhoods are not really well connected, there's weird train tracks or highways criss-crossing the city making it hard to move from one spot to another. Take the train station as an example: in most european cities, the main train station is centrally located and easily accessible. In Prague it's in a weird spot, hard to walk to, you have to go up and down the most horrible flight of stairs where hobos camp out. Rome is much more walkable, for instance.

You're like a decade late for this scene at best. Most of the good sleaze of Prague has been gentrified away at this point and everything's just coasting on it's former reputation. The economics of eastern european countries don't support a good whore scene when the girls can easily travel to wealthier markets. New Czech girls entering the market is rarer and rarer, and there's waiting lists at the brothels to fuck them, with high preference to locals because of language and return business. I'm probably gonna get flamed for this but I literally went to Prague to see the Sapa Market. Had the most fire Vietnamese food.

I live close enough so I'll be back in two weeks for a proper visit with a walking tour and museum visits...
