the only good thing about this country is the hiking and mountain opportunities, which i admit there are a lot of. otherwise, this place blows ass. tbilisi fucking sucks, no character or identity except>muh bassiani and degenerate clubsit's somehow overrun with indians and assorted browns despite it apparently being hugely racist. i saw a bald guy the other day with a huge swastika tattooed on his head walking next to about a dozen indians which was funny. also full of instagram-tier russian thots. georgians themselves are some of the most retarded literal ogres around. it actually feels like being in a slightly less shit india. people cut in front of you in line constantly, block your way, in shops they'll just say "no" to any question you ask (in georgian or english) without even thinking. the police are literal apes who will fuck with you for no reason and give you tickets for stuff like jaywalking when you weren't, and pretend not to speak english when you argue. very few georgians are nice unless they want to scam you. it's also fucking expensive, despite what digital kwabmads will tell you, and you don't get anything for it. nothing is fucking available in this country. i can't even buy a kilo of greek fucking yoghurt without looking in 6 different shops. this is without mentioning smaller cities. i have never seen places with less to do, no one even visible outside regardless of the time of day. the only people who think georgia is cool are side quest larpers who see one soviet mosaic or old apartment building and think it's the best thing ever, but there isn't even much actual stuff left. better to go to uzbekistan. georgia is a totally forgotten and irrelevant country by design, it seems both the government and average man have no interest in making the country better whatsoever, which is fine on paper but all people do here is complain about how shit the country is and protest about how they want to join the EU. lmao, even. food is pretty good tho.

I just don't understand why go to Georgia if you have visa-free access to Mediterranean Europe. For Russian or Turkish tourists, Georgia is indeed a good visa-free alternative. As for English, I think most of them genuinely can't speak it, while they can refuse to speak Russian on purpose.
