So I and my gf have an ambitious plan here. We're in Latvia and we'd like to go to Croatia in September. Luckily, I have a car, so yeah, plan is to drive the following route: Riga-Vienna- Pula- Rijeka- Zadar-Split and back. Plan, especially in Croatia is not to use toll roads, but enjoy Adriatic coastline's twisty bendies. And grab a bunch of wine in Niederosterreich, while we're there. We are looking for:>Secluded beaches, free from austrian infestation (hence September)>Interesting, historical stuff, off the beaten path. >Places to drink a few beers/wines>Artsy/ contemporary artsy spaces>BrutalismQuestion is:>Is that a good plan?
>>2901981We call that a road trip. Americans 16 - 85 do them once a month from 20 to 1000 miles. Bring a cooler of drinks and toss the empties out the window as you drive
>btw I'm heterosexual
>>2901981>>Is that a good plan?Yeah, sounds good. Are you just going to smash out the Rifa-Vienna-Pulu section as quickly as possible then slow down once you reach Croatia, or what?Personally I'd add some extra stops in to the first half of the Riga-Vienna in one stint looks like a long day and there's gotta be some nice spots along the way.You going to drive back the way you came or find an alternate route. On one hand, it can be nice to revisit towns you especially enjoyed but it's also nice to see somewhere new.

>>2902012We're pausing in Vienna for a day or two. We'll crash there at relative's place so might as well look around a bit. Technisches museum is nice, but I've been there twice already. Nah, I mean we're planning maybe 800 km/day max. Hop out for an ice cream, when we feel like it, all that. First stop, I think, will be Kazimierz Dolny, around Lublin, for example.
>might go on a trip to Brazil as a guest (yay free lodging) by some friends>want to confirm with them the time>found one trip that seems like a good deal 1K €, but any other day would be a 200-300€ difference>been trying to call them for various days now, only text replies at best>only 2 seats available for the flight I have been eyeing for a week nowThe flight is in 4 days, should I just get the tickets now?
>>2902359Well, if you don't mind a little adventure, I don't see why not.
>>2902359>should i get the tickets now ?Buy the ticket, take the ride.Stay home if your friends suck and/or you have a comfy gf butt to touch at home
>>2902365>>2902373I did it, I wanted to wait a bit more, now I guess I got a couple of days to prepare the luggage and figure out what do I need to know...oh I guess I will have to take an E-sim.
