What are some countries for a recently unemployed American to go to for a month for some good hiking/scenery and good food?

Thinking about New Zealand, Chile/Argentina, Spain, Germany, American Samoa or somewhere else? What do you think?

Literally anywhere.
All nature and hiking is the fucking same.

This is a truke. It all looks the same above 5000 feet or so. You kidnap someone in the middle of the night and transport them from the alps to the Rockies they wont know they arent in Europe anymore until they get down from the mountains.

Either fat fucks filtered by being unfit or brownoids.
Just in the US alone you can have crazy variety. Yosemite, Yellowstone, Zion, GNP. All offering unique scenery.
Outdoors truly is the last bastion from the dredges of society. Fat fucks, browns, or poors. I can't wait for winter and to live in a ski resort again.

Switzerland but the food is mid. Malaysia is good as well but quite hot. China has a good balance of both and mountains are easily accessible. Though the downside of that is many popular mountains can be quite crowded.

I like hiking too, but be real, there's a handful of real biomes.
Want to see some mountains? The Alps is the same as the Andes is the same as the Rockies
Want to see a desert? The American Southwest is the same as the Middle East is the same as Australia.
Want to go inawoods? Appalachia is the same as upstate New York is the same as any random forest in Europe.

Yeah these places are cool, but you can get em anywhere, just go wherever's closest. The only reason to travel is for cities and culture

If you work less than 100 hours a week don't come to my Country.

fantastic post

Hugely false.

Unless you've saved up over 20k and/or can afford a couple months of expenses without going broke, going on a trip right after becoming unemployed is profoundly retarded.

These fags must be /out/ posters, because clearly they never actually go outside.

I'd recommend Argentina. It's kind of expensive, weirdly, but nice.

Another place for fucking faggots like you to take their shitty photo and feel special.

Fuck you, NPC consoomer faggot, you're not a real human.

kek I've been in that exact spot, waiting in line so my gf can get a Photoâ„¢. There was even a helicopter landing nearby doing a wedding shoot.

That walk is only popular because it's fairly easy and right next to town, drive an extra hour and you can be in uninhabited world-class /out/

What kind of hiking are you planning. Sleeping in a tent outside of camping is forbidden in Spain, vivac is still allowed. Food close to the mountains are mostly stews or heavily based on meats. If you're a vegan you are out of luck. There are a couple of desert areas in the main plateau (Tabernas) and close to the southern coast (Almeria).
You could try "El camino de santiago", there are several routes, the people I know they've walked it usually used about three weeks.
Whatever you do, take some time in planning, permits and insurance.

how bitter do you have to be to jump to this far of a conclusion when OP simply just asked for places with good nature and hikes?

your brain is full of mashed potatoes.
