I see the smiles brown people give me when a White guy visits there store or restaurant, I notice my White privilege every day. I'm a pretty polite and courteous person by upbringing but I've noticed as I've become more racist, I give up my seat to the elderly Chinese lady knowing that I'm reinforcing the stereotype that White European are gentlemen. Just today, in a 7/11 in Taiwan. I'm sitting on a still drinking a coffee, no other seats free - an old lady comes and greets her friend. I offer her my seat and leave with my coffee.
